Candy Crush Saga Level 269.

Tips for level 269 Candy Crush Saga

If you find this site helpful please "LIKE"----->

All the jelly is hidden under the licorice in the bottom left section of the board.
You are given 8 fish and a colour bomb to help you clear the jelly.
Unlock the fish and colour bomb by matching the candies beside them but don't use them straight away.
Try to switch the colour bomb with a striped candy if you can, this will remove quite a lot of the licorice. Once the licorice is partly cleared timer bombs will begin to fall down from the dispensers, which you need to keep an eye on.
Remember the bombs only count down when you move, so take your time and think about your moves.
Switching a fish with a stripe will give you 3 striped fish, but they will only help if you have candies in the jelly, if they hit licorice they will be wasted, so better to use the stripe on it's own if there is a lot of licorice.
Wraps will only be any use if switched with a stripe, so you can see that for level 269 stripes are the most useful special candy.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know on our FB group and I will try to change it.

Ugh, another level where you are given no moves that will actually work, you just play over and over again and keep on losing as there's no way to clear the bombs. I suppose eventually it will just suddenly work out and you get the moves. I am really not enjoying this entire episode, just frustrated when I wanted to have fun.

No special tips here. Getting special candies next to fish is a big help and don't forget to keep checking the box w/the jellies to see if there are any combinations inside. Don't waste your bombs on just any candy, combine them with special candies or save them to detonate numbered bombs that are about to explode.

Make sure you line up your striped candies with the jellies so that they will do damage. PM

Unlock all the fish first, you don't want to waste time trying to unlock the fish when the timed bombs are ticking.

I agree!

I'm writing this comment for the people at CCS who undoubtedly monitor this site to make sure we are enjoying and will keep playing the game. This level is NOT fun!!!! It is completely random. There is no skill involved at this level, and that is frustrating!

I finally did it! I can't tell you HOW I did it, because I'm still not sure, but suddenly it was complete! Good luck, y'all!

♥ Yes that's a good tip above. Unlock the fish first then try to get striped down by the fish to match them up. Color ball + Striped candy is great but difficult to get. Mostly luck but skill helps to match up the candies. Finally got it after many lives.

A lot of levels I get seem to need a degree of luck to go along with skill. You still need a good setup to beat most levels at this stage.

i got this out 1st try...nothing special..managed to get a choc on a stripe then the box with fish did the rest...no challenge at all!!

I agree with above. I don't know how I finished this one. It just happened! Only 1 star, but I don't care. It was a horrible level. Glad it is finished.

Got through it see u suckerssssssssss

try to get bottom fish paired with multi-colored chocolate (on the corner). by that time, you also must have a few of the isolated box open (with bombs and other blowable candies).
or if youre so lucy you can get two choco multi colored paired together, then the level will be very easy.

Levels on holiday hut episode must be one of the most annoying time consuming episodes out there how many really hard levels together does one actually want grr lol

I'm not ashamed to say I bought lollipop hammers to finish this game. Horrible level that depends more on luck than skill.

This level isn't that much fun. I play on FB and half the time when I match the jelly fish with a wrapped candy, striped candy, or the color bomb nothing happens. Actually more than half the time.

I usually just move candies until a bomb blows up. This one is so boring it could be the end of my crushing days. I don't mind hard, but hard and boring is a deadly combination.

hate this level i wanna cry i cant pass it..I got 2 chocolate mixed them together still couldnt pass...another time i got like 5 chocolates throughout it couldnt get pass it.. I hate bomb levels. -.-

When I combine a fish with a special candy in the beginning before clearing the licorice from the box it doesn't do what happens in the video (the first 20 seconds)

Anonymous said...

this level sucks .. when you do combine fish with a stripey ... they clear some jelly then the stripey candy sets off dosent get all the timed bombs !!!! and your left with two ticks left on the timed bomb ... and no good matches on the board !!! and when you do get a stripey candy lined in the same row as a timed bomb, if there is a licorice in the way . when you set it off the licorice kills it and bomb it still there... i've had some tough levels but this one is gonna make me quit i think .. boring no skill involved at all

Only tried a few times on this level. I agree, not fun. Once I got a sprinkle ball with a fish and it did pretty much nothing. The fish developed dots but didn't do anything to eliminate jellies. Disappointing. As with other levels, at some point it will just "happen."

Horrible level this...

So tired of those color bombs. Fish clear 2 of 3 color bombs every single time....

When I watch the videos they seem to be perfect, but those setups just are not happening for me?

Anonymous said...

Well after writing the above I went back and did it!!...BUT my confession is that I used the lollipop hammer!

This was the closest I got to clearing all jellies and I wasn't going to let one miserable jelly stop me!

It was the first time I managed to keep the jelly area clear of color bombs... and then worked on getting striped jellies that helped clear.

Anonymous said...

Phew, I accidentally managed to clear this level.

Just few more jellies left, & the bomb is at 1,next turn will explode. I just moved something randomly,& the next thing I know the jellies are all cleared LOL

Just keep on trying you will get it some how..:P

To the previous poster - the crushingcandies site is just a message board like this with a lot less comments. What is the point in that!?

Just beat this after being stuck for 3 or 4 days. After trying a number of strategies I got through by doing the following - Firstly you need to concentrate on unlocking the disco ball and some of the fish (don't worry about unlocking all of them). Then make a striped candy in one of rightmost two columns so that you can combine it with the disco ball. Try and make sure there are enough of the same colour candies in the right places so that they will hit the jelly grid before actually combining the disco ball + striped candy. When you combine you will also set off some of the fish you unlocked which will help take out more jelly.
Following that I managed to make a a 2nd disco ball and striped candy and combine them again which left me with one jelly left on the grid. I got that by setting off one of the remaining fish. As with all hard levels you need to take things really slow and think through every single move very carefully. Combining disco balls with striped candies was the key for me though...

I'm bored with this almost unbeatable level. All the skill in the world won't help! It's luck that you need. A few other levels were like this but I got lucky after 2 days. This is dragging on and on. At least I'm not addicted anymore! I used to play about ten hours a day (I hate to admit) but this whole episode has sucked so I only play about an hour a day now if that. In the past I've been stuck for days on a level but it was still fun because it was challenging and you needed skill and strategy but this is totally random. I was down to one jelly left and if I had one more move it was set up where I would of won but I refuse to send money. The game is set up so you'll pay out of frustration to advance! They make over $600,000 a day! Look it up

I got past this level on the 2nd attempt once I adopted this strategy: exit the level before starting until you get a starting position where you can make a schweddy ball (that is what I call the multicolored chocolate; Google "schweddy balls snl" for details) in the rightmost column. I think I abandoned around 20 boards before I got what I wanted. Unlock the provided schweddy and get it to drop down to above the one you made (or it might make sense to unlock the premade one before making one). Once you get your schweddy balls in position, do anything you can to clear as much licorice as possible (without messing up your schweddy goodness of course). Swap your schweddies for total devastation, and hopefully you will be able to clear most of the jelly by making sets in the 4x4 area. For whatever can't be cleared that way, you should have enough moves left to make a few stripes. Easy!

This level is so easy when you work it out.

You need to match the fish with stripped candies.

On the first shot, this will first get rid of a few of the bubblegum (spirals) candies and leave you with some bombs.

On the second shot, it will turn some of the bombs and other candies that have been unearthed in the box into stripped candies. They'll then blow up in the box, opening it up further.

Then you need to get a fish matched with a wrapped candy. This will leave candy bombs in the box. It'll blow up the majority of the jelly.

The last remaining fish will then be able to get rid of the rest of the jelly.

cherylcandycrush here.
Only took about 3x5 games, so I would rate this level as medium.

Not one you get first off but you shouldn't have to slave over it for weeks, with a bit of luck.

If colour bombs come your way and you can combine with a special candy, woohoo.
Most times I got wiped out with bombs but in the end I got through with 19 moves to spare (just luck really) and with 3 stars. Thought I was brilliant till I saw my score was lowest of all my friends. But who cares, I got through and so will you with the right game sent your way. Just a matter of time.

PS Those fish with special candy really help and with a colour bomb-excellent.

Need to combine fish with stripped then wrapped candies. Goof fun.

Thanks, for the hints. Fish/striped and fish/packet worked. Double color bomb might work partially but it's too hard to arrange.

Anonymous said...

Thanks for tips. I went with restarting game several times until I could make a chocolate sprinkle on right hand column in first move. Then matched it with the chic one in top right corner. Took about ten resets to get there. And not guaranteed as had three games with double sprinkle before it worked. But I got a big break as resetting wasn't using up lives. I've no idea why or if it would be the same for others. I've not noticed it in previous games. But it meant I moved on quickly after faffing about previously. :-)

Oops choc not chic. Blame auto correct.

I found that swapping the fish with a wrapped candy wiped out most of the jelly and bombs

This level certainly does seem random, no skill to it. Must be one of those where you either get the good board or you don't and the problem is that you probably don't recognize the good board until it is too late maybe? UGH

Anonymous said...

this level is total crap like many others. this one again makes it clear ccs is total waste of time. should be banned.

Anonymous said...

Tired of these daft levels to be honest. Not expecting easy games just doable ones would suffice.

Anonymous said...

This level is downright stupid !!!! No strategy needed for the most part, just sheer luck. Not entertaining at all. A 2 yr. old has as good of a chance as beating this as someone that has played many levels. I am bored stiff and not happy.
