6050 completed! See you next year.
6138 done 2nd try. I should have passed it first try though! Only the jelly in the middle was left. Last move I set of a fish, but it didn't go for the jelly :-(. Good luck with 6107 for those of you unfortunate to still be stuck there.

I went back to check some of the previous ridiculous levels and sure enough 6038, 6059 and 6069 were all now easy! Even without the stocking or boosters. More moves, reduced ingredients and blockers. Maybe in a couple of weeks I will get past 6107 too haha.
kik we are guinea pigs testing out the levels before they're released on phones/tablets. Some levels are made harder, some easier. That's what I keep telling the people always whining about the unfairness of the levels on their phones being more difficult than what we had to pass on windows 10. It goes both ways. They just see that the level they're playing has less moves than the videoes they find from win 10, not noticing that the completely impossible ones we're struggling with are made much easier for them.

Help on 6048
Joyous100. I just played 6048 again. I set up as many combos as possible to get over to the right side of the board; such as stripe/wrap, wrap/wrap, cb/stripe, etc. Once over there, continue setting up combos with the stripes that drop. I probably had a lucky board also. Good luck!
Finished through 6140 last night..finally! 6107 was NO fun at all. 6109 also hard for me. Many difficult levels, few easy ones. Happy New Year all! Here's to an end to this time consuming struggle!!
6140 completed just in time for another fun-filled week. Happy New Year! Happy Crushing!
no new levels today? And I just claimed the 6 hour timed boosters from the space race :-(
They did show up. First episode done. The first ones are pretty easy until 6148 and 6149. They need lucky boards and a fish helps if you've got it. 6152 also difficult and the fish are pretty useless. They don't target the blockers in the middle at all, they just eat candies in the right side of the board. 6155 very difficult to get the licorice. So many layers to blast through to get to it.
First episode completed. In addition to Ditte's notes, I added a checkmark booster to 6155 and focused on cb/wrap combos. 6149 was the most difficult for me.
2nd episode done. Worse than the 1st. 6159 needs some luck. cb/cb needed. 6162 needs double wraps in the top of the board. 6164 very difficult to get the licorice. The bottom spawner needs to be taken out very early. 6165 also difficult and 6170 is really bad. Nasty spawners there.
6180 done. Evil spawners in 6172. 6174 also difficult, bombs, licorice, waffles and chocolate yikes! 6179 also difficult.
6166 is another ridiculous level that requires either many boosters or a lucky board...
6166? I must have gotten a lucky board then. I got that first try just with the full BOT, but it took all available moves. Got the last jelly with a stripe/stripe in the bottom of the belt. First I focused on hitting the spawners, and then when they were gone on the stripes where the spawners were and on the stripes in the top and bottom of the belt. So lots and lots of stripe/stripe combos. Good luck!
done up to 6155.
6181 done. Very difficult to get the popcorn without destroying the chocolate too early. I ended up using a checkmark, even though that is problematic because of the extra popcorn.
6174 is horrible Took 1 party popper, 1 UFO, 2 hand switches and 1 hammer. WOW... It is going to be a while at this rate. That was nasty and according to Ditte, more horrors to come. Uggghhhhh OC
Yes 6174 is bad. I also used a UFO and some hands and hammers for that. So if you've only got a few boosters left, that is the level to save them for.
Thank you, Ditte. I have been playing 6166 just as you described. My problem is the board keeps going in constant cascading so it is hard to set up the stripe/stripe combo. I try doing small moves but the board moves and goes into cascading. Maybe it is me...😜
MG I went back and looked at that one again. I used a UFO and same hands and hammers. It is a toughie... Lucky Ditte... getting it on the first try. OC

Done up to 6095 on mobile yesterday. It looks like the level gap between Windows 10 users and mobile users is widening. Before it was only 3 episodes (45 levels). Now it is 6 episodes (90 levels). Maybe it’s because King has to program it in both IOS and Android on mobile. Most of those who post in the blog are Windows 10 users. (I have Windows 10 but Candy Crush has a black background, so I cannot play it there.)
Questions:
To Windows 10 users, can you reset now? Reset is still not working on mobile. Does Windows 10 have a free spin for additional moves by watching a video?
Ditte, how are you able to get hundreds of boosters? Did you collect them before King made them time boosters? I usually go through 3 episodes with only 3 hands and 9 hammers but usually complete the 3 episodes by using only a few of them. I use the rest of the week to collect some more boosters but King makes it harder and harder to collect them.
Hi Rick. The reason for the widening gap is that these days we get 3 episodes each week, so actually in a way the gap is less, since now it's 2 weeks and before it was 3.
There has never been videoes on win 10 (at least not for me). And no no reset, that is gone for everybody.
The boosters are from years of collecting sugardrops, a lot of them from back when I played on King.com where sugardrops are doubled, if you win the level. And from the daily spin and loggin in every day. I didn't use them much before, when we only got 1 or 2 episodes a week and before the Fix. And after the Fix I stopped going back to old levels for sugardrops and just get the ones from playing new levels ( the boosters I get there aren't timed).
I think there are some "tricks" to get boosters, but as far as I know they're all connected to Facebook, where I don't have an account, so I don't know them. And I don't know if they transfer to phones, or if it only works with win 10. The boosters I got from playing on king.com only transfered to Win 10, not to my phone.
6182 done. Needed a couple of hammers and hands. Or more patience than I have these days, where playing isn't fun, but more a chore to get over with. Best way to get the keys is to switch a colourbomb with a stripe or wrap the same colour as the keys, but difficult to get the blockers and jelly in time.
Done to 6185. The third episode was pretty nasty. However, 6185 was a breeze and took no boosters... shocker! Rick, some people know a few "tricks" but they don't post them any more because of the King spies. As soon as we try to help each other, bam the trick no longer is allowed to happen. Well, isn't 6170 just a FUN level! At least I finally made it past 6166 with a lucky board.
Yes 6170 took me lots and lots of tries to pass. And just wait until you get to 6174! Fun fun fun! Of course you have to get past another "fun" level in 6172 to get there.

Ditte, thank you for the explanation. However, Windows 10 is up to level 6185 while mobile is only up to level 6095. That is 90 levels or 6 episodes difference. Win 10 is ahead by 6 episodes than mobile right now. It looks like you are a pure Win 10 user. I created a Facebook account solely because of Candy Crush Saga. With Facebook, your progress is being saved. That is why if you play through Facebook on the PC, on a tablet, or a phone you will be at the last level you have completed so far. (I guess if you play Candy crush on your phone, it will be only at level 1. Try that.)
Boosters are kept on the individual device you play Candy Crush on. Unfortunately, they cannot be transferred from one device to another. I have a new phone and I am just starting to collect boosters on that phone. Only the gold bars are common to the devices. My PC has more boosters than my tablets. I have both an IOS and Android tablet. I prefer to play on my Android tablet because King allows you to spin for additional move (or booster) on Android by watching a video ad, but it is not available on IOS or the PC. There is also an Air Delivery on Android where a gift booster is “carried” by a hot air balloon. By watching a video ad, you get the booster, not a timed one. The only thing, you only get a hand or hammer once on 10 Air Deliveries and the Air Deliveries are only available every other day. I don’t think Air Delivery is available on IOS or on the PC.
I used to have 200 hammers and 100 hands in my tablet, but I have to reinstall Candy Crush Saga and my boosters were gone after the reinstallation. I collect boosters now through the Daily Spin and the Treat Calendar. On the Treat Calendar you have to open Candy Crush daily, otherwise, if you miss a day, it goes back to Day 1. You only get one hand on the 7th day. I don’t play for sugar drops anymore because it only gives timed boosters.
Rick I played on android phone for years. The progress is saved by the King account. I think I had reached the point where I waited for new levels when I found this place looking for advise on a difficult level. Then I started playing on King.com, which was probably 3 weeks ahead of android. And as said the sugardrops are doubled there, if you win the level. Then I got windows 10 and played there too. Then they stopped making new levels there, so after that only win 10. And fortunately at that point all the boosters I had on king transferred to/synced with win 10. Last I checked they still did and I tried playing for sugardrops there to double them but it was sooo slow I quickly lost patience and stopped. The good old timed levels were also still there. Until recently I used level 606 on my phone to build up the BOT, so I didn't have to scroll back all the time on win 10. But now I just scroll back to 6000. I still have the old non-timed sugardrops. Yes phones are 6 episodes/2 weeks behind win 10, but at one point it was 3 weeks, but fever episodes, because we only got one episode a week. I wish they would go back to that. 3 episodes are too much.
6185 done. The last 3 were easy. In 6184 the UFO didn't help as it didn't hit the waffle under the fruit. Fortunately I had plenty of moves left to make a stripe to get it.
6095 completed! First episode in 2020! See you next week.
Still stuck on 6174...3 days later.
Gave in and bought the pig. Spent it on 2 UFOs and finally made it through 6174. The rest up to 6185 were a breeze.
King has done a number of changes to 6174. I haven't passed it yet.
Must have just changed it this morning. Still difficult to get through without a lot of boosters.
I just passed 6174! I had a full bot and one timed color ball. Yea.
6182 is another level that needs 20 more moves when you have no boosters or Bot :(
6182 done with Bot and 1 ufo and 2 hammers. first episode done.
6196 seems to be a problem because the last key is nowhere to be found???? Anyone else? Is it a glitch??? Lots of nasty ones before that too. Had to use a couple of UFOs but maybe a bit impatient. OC
ABCD did you have enough key for 6196? If not how did you pass it?
A comment to a video says 6196 can be done by using hammers on the last sugar chest. But yes a glitch. If only they used more time fixing real glitches instead of "fixing" the ability to back out without losing a life.....
And it worked. One hammer on the "lock" or sugar chest (which I had no idea it was called) unlocked it. I also had no idea hammers work on locks.
6200 done. 6187 very difficult. Bombs and evil spawners that can't be taken out too early. Used a fish for 6191. 6195 very difficult. Used a UFO and a hammer and as said a hammer for 6196 because of the glitch.

Not something I figured out. Found it in a video by Johnny Crush.
6215 done. 6212 is really really nasty. Used some hammers and hands for that. 6215 also really difficult. I used a UFO and a hammer. The rest not so bad. A lot was done first try and the rest with 2-3 tries.
6226 done. 6217 very very difficult. I used a UFO to get the last jelly. 6226 also very difficult. Used a few hands and hammers there.
First episode done which was a breeze compared to the last week which ate up quite a few of hammers hands and UFOs despite my resolve to not use any.
They also changed my friends which helped to win a few hammers. Also no music boxes last week neither in sight this week. Whats with King?
P.S I actually believed they'll fix the restart button on Christmas or new year. Turns out I was too optimistic.
So, I am already stuck at 6187. I started today with only 1 hammer and 1 color ball,which I still have. It appears to be another week of boosters and lucky boards. I think I am going to take at least a short break from this game.
Completed up to level 6140 on mobile. I did not have any problems with levels 6106 and 6107 which I passed on the first try. I had more trouble in 6119 which I have to use my PC where I have more boosters to pass it. I have to use 3 or 4 hammers to break the rainbow twist on the left side and the bottom row. Then I have to use a UFO to collect the four popcorns on the lower left corner. Levels 6131, 3136, and 6139 are hard, too. I have to use some hammers and a UFO on 6131. I have to alternately playing on my Android amd IOS tablets and the PC because I ran out of lives on the devices.

I've played 6125 numerous times - just needed a hammer to complete a couple of times but unfortunately have nothing. Will have to collect sugar candies and hopefully get some hammers, etc.

On your Android go into tools and choose my profile and log out, then sign into King account. If you don't have one it gives you option to create one. Then log out of King account, then it will give you King option and Facebook option. Tap on Facebook then check your packsack for number of boosters you have. The amount should have doubled.
Collected a couple of hammers but didn't need them. Passed 6215 with no boosters. Yeah!
Thanks, Aron. I am trying to follow your tip to see if my boosters will be doubled. I don’t have much boosters now, just 4 hands and 10 hammers.
By the way, I discovered this game app Word Crush where you look for words under a given clue like “Names of boys beginning with D”, for instance. It is similar to word search but there is no diagonal. Words are only on the horizontal or vertical. They have also levels and the higher the level, it becomes more difficult, meaning more letters and more words to deal with. I am currently at level 77 and there are about 60 letters on the board. I play this game while waiting for new levels of Candy Crush on Wednesdays.

Yes 6229 is very difficult because of the chocolate. Wish I had finished the episode earlier instead of saving levels for the daily sticker. No chocolate in the videoes from January 8th!!
I;m so tired of using my "tricks" to get boosters so that I can get through these stupidly hard levels. Just passed 6226 only to find that 6227 is just has tough.... OK so how much longer will I let this go on..... OC
Nice of them to add the chocolate to 6229. As if the levels aren't hard enough already.
This section is for Level 6001 - 6100 and here everyone is talking beyond that which makes it hard for those behind to follow tips because there aren't any for that range here. You all should make a discord and join Discord to chat and discuss.
FYI Candy Crush Fandom has great tips for each level. Easier to find hints and tips there than here. I've stopped coming here because all everyone says is "done 5282" "Done 5000" That is of no help to anyone.
