In 5137 I think it's best not to try to collect the keys to avoid the licorice as long as possible.
Stuck on 5154
First episode done. For me 5144 was the most difficult. Used a couple of hammers and hands. And used a fish for 5136. Pretty easy after 5144.
Done for today at 5160. So far the second episode has been pretty fun. After kiks warning I used a coconutwheel, a UFO and a hammer for 5154. And a couple of hands for 5159. Good luck!
Done 5165. Used a UFO and hand to clear 5144 and 5154, the 2 most challenging! Needed a hammer for 5164 timed bomb. Overall ok but wasted 1 UFO!
Completed through 5165. 5156 and 5164 gave me the most problems.
use 3 hammer for 5164.
space race is back.
I just finished 5105 and it says it is the last episode. What happened to the rest. Other people have played to 5200, what happened that I did not get them? Please advise.
Unknown, Windows 10 currently goes through 5165. The other platforms are 2 weeks behind, which is 60 levels lower at 5105.
5177 is hard. use two ufo, 3 hammer and two hand switch.
done up to 5189.
There must be some trick to create enough chocolate for 5177 but I havent figured it out yet. Definitely need the 3 extra moves from the bot but even so I cant get less than about 20+ chocolates needed. I used a ? to help create some but even that doesnt work
First episode done. Very easy until 5177. And yes very difficult to get enough chocolate. Too many of the checkmarkcandies turn into bombs instead. And once you've used the 3 double colourbombs (if they survive) it's dificult to make moves to get the chocolate. You need some lucky cascading to create and collect the chocolate. When I managed to get down to 7 chocolates I bought extra moves and had to use hammers to get the last 4. Used a couple of hands for 5179 and one in 5180 to set up a cb/cb. You need to get most of the jelly before you collect the keys. Once the licorice starts falling it keeps on falling and the UFOs aren't enough.
Done for today at 5190. 5189 is a bit difficult because the chocolate blocks the fruit. 5190 is just nasty. First the game ended several times because there were no moves available because there aren't many candies on the board until you get all the keys. When I finally got the keys I had to use several hammers on bombs about to go off. And finally I had to use a UFO to get enough points. Yikes! So a week with mostly very easy levels, but the few difficult ones are nasty. Good luck!
stuck at 5177. I found 5166 to be difficult!
I am also stuck on 5177. I can get cascades going, but never enough chocolate. I think I am done for today.

Haha CJ same experience here. Fortunately I had enough gold bars for the 5 extra moves! This level impossible otherwise!!

Chugging along. Yep agree difficult ones were horrid. On 5190 I had a very lucky board half bot, and used 4 hammers to set up a color bomb at the end. I used a UFO before I set off the color bomb to get the points. The trick is to keep the candies falling without losing them to not having enough... So, I think less than a full bot works better for 5190... at least for me. Have the Fab 5 so that helps with UFOs so I actually had one LOL. Managed to rack up some hands from Rami. Stpping at 5194 for now. OC

5206 done. 5205 needs boosters to pass.
The trick for 5201, which is a points level, is *after* you've cleared out the board a bit (double CB or two wrapped candies side by side) at least another 3 CBs are going to be needed to get above 400000 points.
@Unknown Ms Cookie, who's blog this is, may not have made it as far yet. Try watching Candy Crush Youtube videos to get some idea of how other folks are solving the levels. At some point though, you may just have to figure it out yourself or ask here.
OC I got the Fab 5 last Wednesday. It's only a Fab 3 though as 2 of the players haven't earned a single point yet. Too bad we don't get credit for the difficult levels we played yesterday as the classifications weren't there yet. That's 240 points I didn't get.
Ditte, I just noticed that the Fab 5 is in fact Fab "3" for me too. Last week there were 5 players with scores, now on 3. And.... I seem to be the only one increasing the score..... ho hum.... oh well... I don't play as often any more although I am still up with the rest of you ... it's just that there is no point playing for sugar drops while they insist on the timed boosters. To be fair, they do give other ways to get them, so I am hanging in there. OC
Completed through 5210. Definitely some challenging levels. I need to try and collect some boosters before next Wednesday as I went through most everything this week.
I think all of my Fab 5 group contributes some. However, my dynamic duo is just me.

My buddy in the dynamic duo used to help. Sometimes I finished the tasks, sometimes he/she did. Now it's all me.
5191... use a mystery candy (with a tick on it) it turns into the bomb you need.
5190 Is IMPOSSIBLE aaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!
606 has been changed back and can again be done in 3 moves with your eyes closed.
Okay the brought back the space race I wish they would bring back the sugar drops the way they were. I need Hands and can't get them. I don't know what to do to get the hands. I get 1 from the space race if I win it. and from the daily win level only if I have levels to do. Any body know how to get the HANDS I don't have any left. Help
Done 5210. 5190 was horrible, played over 6 times and cleared with lucky board and 1 hammer. Used UFO on 5205 and 2 hammers on 5210 as I wanted to end it.
Done - Miss Cookie has tips on 5177, but even she admits that it is not possible without substantial boosters. I'm done for the week. The tough ones were possible with the boosters we have === well if you have an UFO. June you can get hands from Rami or Didi when they show up. Also the Fab 5 aka 3 has a hand too.... but getting to it is dubious. I did get through the cycle once... but now waiting for the so called team to do their share and on the second cycle through it is not likely they will. Till next time .... OC

I had to play 5210 without the bot. It's not there on Win 10 or on my new phone. It's there on my old phone in the old version with the spaceships. Hopefully it'll be back on Win 10 by Wednesday.
Did the whole 180 cycle of candy drops to see if I could collect any boosters. Only got 1 hammer. ALL the rest were timed. A waste of time basically!

The bot is there on my Win10 ... When it disappeared for me, I uninstalled and reinstalled.... a bit risky but my bot did come back. OC
I have 400-700 of each booster apart from UFOs, partyboosters and paintbrushes, so I don't have the nerve to uninstall. Hoping it'll be back in time for the new levels later today.
5218 is hard, done with 5 extra moves from 10 gold bars.
Still no BOT on my win 10 or the new phone. Old spaceships on my old phone. 5211 was a pain with the fruit falling of the top conveyor all the time. Now stuck at 5214, which isn't fun without the opportunity to start with a cb/cb.
5225 done with 1 ufo and two hand switch
Used 2 ufos and 2 hammers on 5225, one ufo on 5222 , 5218 had 15 extra moves from free spin. Used 2 hands and 2 hammers elsewhere..
Looks like lots of boosters needed.
Had BOT for first few levels and than it disappeared completely despite not on line. Looks like they programmed to deprive us.
Came to a screeching halt at 5225. Looks like party boosters needed.
Stuck at 5215. It's an uphill battle without the BOT :-(
Ditte, got the BOT back after clearing 2 levels on one go. 5225 is nightmarishly difficult! Stuck at 5230 as I am trying to save precious few boosters left.
No such luck here, still no BOT. The buddy challenge is also missing. As I've mentioned before level 606 has changed. On my new phone it's the old three move with eyes closed version. On the old phone it's different.
Ditte it's awful not to have the bot. I am just starting out on the new batches and reading yours and Sleepless and everyone else's comments it looks like a tough week. My pig is now 60 gold for 2.99 which I might purchase.... have to see how it goes. OC
5225 used up 2 UFOs and 10 gold bars for extra moves. I am stuck on 5227 with no boosters left. I do have a space ship instead of the bot now.
Oh how I miss that second colourbomb to make the cb/cb to start with. Usually all the new levels give sugardrops the first time they're played. That's also gone.
5225 is just fun fun fun without the BOT. I didn't find 5218 that difficult, must have gotten a lucky board. 5211, 5214, 5215 and 5221, especially 5215 were difficult, and then 5225.
5238 horrible. Ended using last 2 UFOs, 1 hand and 1 hammer to pass.
done 5240 but down to just 1 hand and 1 hammer and probably going to get stuck in next episode. Now on 5241!

5177 which we struggled with last week is now easy. Only 25 chocolates needed instead of 40. I think 5190 has also been changed. I don't think there were as many candies/bombs on the board before? Only a few until the keys were collected. Now stuck at 5231. Not a good week not to have the BOT.
5238 is really tough. Not getting close and bot is gone as is pig! I just saw that there are 3 episodes this week. I thought there were only 2!
So did I. I checked earlier today and only saw 2 episodes. A couple of times I got the message, that Dexter and his friends needed a break. Then I did get the collect greens to unlock the space race, but it went away and my colourbombs didn't count. Only thing in the "fun events" is some race to pass the most levels. And the fun events came and went on/off.
I know Ditte! Dexter has taken WAY too many breaks today. I will wait until he comes back instead of using precious boosters. Used 2 ufos on 5229, but still some tough levels to conquer.
5255 another horrible level. Need at least 2 UFO to clear which I don't have. Waiting for lucky board!
BTW the BOT is back BUT programmed for only 1 try and will disappear after, even when off line.

Yes sleepless, 5255 is horrible! I've gone through at least 10 lives trying to complete. I've gotten as close as removing all popcorn but still had 1 jelly left. I guess I am waiting for a lucky board now.
My BOT is still missing. Hasn't been there since Sunday. No Buddy challenge either. Good thing I have lots of boosters and goldbars. As said bad week not to have the BOT, when those of you, who do have it have to use several boosters including UFOs to pass anyway.
Can you believe, CC reduced 5255 from 21 moves to 18!!!!! Will need even luckier board..........
finally cleared 5255 with lucky board, CB wrap start and 1 UFO from F5. Definitely needs a CB/wrap start to stand a chance!!!!
Needed 2 UFOs to clear 5255. 2 very tough boards that need lots of boosters. No fun!!
i'm stuck on 5238 and discouraged big time. I used loads of boosters and still didn't make it. Then just reading about 5255 - seriously not excited about this game any more. If one has to purchase/use a ton of boosters to get through the nightmare levels then that leaves very bad feelings for me to continue playing.... added to the misery is the fact that they are pretty unfair as to who gets what and when. Back to my other favorite things to do with my time for now. OC
Finally completed 5255 with a spin giving me 5 extra moves and 1 hammer! I started with cb/cb combo and used wrap/wrap combos and cb/wrap combos to complete. I think I had 1 more cb/cb combo in the middle of play. Good luck!
Oc, I hope you have finished 5238! If not, I just played again. It is definitely a hard level. I started with a cb/cb combo and then used the frog frequently on the cake that cleared the best. I used the frog on the outer edges that can be hard to hit. Once the first cake cleared, I used the frog on the other cake. I had one jelly left with one move left at the end, which could have been cleared with a hammer. The fog fills quickly on this level. I hope this helps.
OC, I agree with you 100%. Interest definitely waning with the tough boards needing boosters to complete and random bots/incentives etc.
I have no bot or spaceship, and the cb collecting race thing arrived on Thurs but disappeared today. If I try to scroll back to easier levels to collect boosters the whole app crashes since Wednesday's update. So I have really no incentive to play at all now. Sad really. Good to see you are all still struggling through. S.
The Space Race (collecting colourbombs) has come and gone many times this week. Mostly gone. Dexter and his friends have taken a lot of breaks the last couple of days. I haven't had the app crash though, but haven't tried scrolling a long way back. Have played recent levels for sugardrops, not levels way back.
I have had issues with the game as well. It has shut down at random times since Wednesday. When I launch the app again, I always get the message that Dexter and his friends are taking a break.
MG thank you! With your help, I was able to follow your directions and finally cleared the level. I now have the Dexter on vacation thing... so I am going on vacation too... until Dexter comes back .... but that one toughie is at least out of the way. OC
I just opened the app to play 5254, but it's completely dead. I can see the outer edges, 3-4 cm in both sides, the rest is black. Hoping everything will be back to normal, when they get it fixed.
Restarting the computer helped. Now just the dreaded 5255 to go.
5255 is tough with no boosters left, last 4 popcorn impossible with 18 only moves, same problems here since the update, Bot, Dexter, Space Dash and daily spin wheel disappearing and whole game dropping out. Waiting for a lucky board :)
I can get the top 2 popcorn, but so far not the last 2. Following the advice about starting with cb/wrap.
Done with 5255 ... first try. Very hard and very luck board. I would have normally waited until Tuesday to maximize the Daily Win, however, I was going to lose my bot in about 5 hours and didn't want to be stuck on 5255 without full bot -- just in case it doesn't come back.
Based on the comments here, went in full bore with full bot and selected all boosters (CB, wrapped and fish) prior to starting. Went with the CB/CB combo to start with. Was able to make plenty of the right combinations (CB/stripe, CB/wrapped, striped/wrapped, cb/cb) without any additional boosters and finished with one move left. Definitely a lucky board.
Still no BOT here:-(. I've been down to one popcorn in 5255. Hoping for a lucky board and winning extra moves in the spin today.
My BOT is back. Finally! I passed 5255 shortly after my last message. Didn't win moves in the spin, so used 10 goldbars, a hand and a couple of hammers to pass.
Progressing very slowly. I'm stuck on 2548 am I the only one having trouble. Can't go down to easier levels very far but have found I can rebuild the bot with more recent levels. It just takes longer. OC
Did 2 rounds of the candy drop and only got 4 gold bars. All other bonuses were timed. Waste of time!
OC, it took me a couple of trys to get through 5248. I had to make "small" moves to figure out how the tracks moved the fruit. It was definitely a finesse level.
