4964 is proving a little tricky. It is hard to get the colour bomb/stripe combos without using boosters and as I am still getting only the useless timed boosters from sugar drops, I can't afford to waste switches and hammers. Luckily we can feed the frog again but it is so far back now!
Graeme don't you have CC on your phone or maybe a tablet? Much easier to "feed the frog" there. I'm assuming you mean play level 606? If you do it on your phone you don't have to scroll back all the time.
Graeme, how to clear the fruits in 4960?
Sleepless, the flow, through the teleports was a bit tricky for me on 4960. Watching the teleport colors, and clearing spots for fruit to get through was "interesting." Then 4977 was very rough to not clear the chocolate too early. Boosters seem to work against you early on. Have to wait for the chocolate to eat all the bombs... even when the countdown is scary low.
I had trouble with 4956. After a few tries I went to my phone to fill up the BOT again, now as last week the Win10 app won't connect to the internet so no BOT :-( . I did pass 4956 without it and also 4957.

Funny in 4960 more fruit fall down, than you need. As far as I could see, the trick is to hit the fruit in the bottom by the exit, when the fruit is over the port in the top. So when the fruit is over the port in the top left left hit the left fruit in the bottom, when it's over the port in the top right right hit the right fruit in the bottom. Ignore the coloured teleports. The fruit goes through the "white ports" not the blue, green and red.
Done for today at 4980. Some levels took several tries for instance 4964 as Graeme said, but no impossible nightmarish levels as we've had lately. The app continued to have problems connecting to the internet so only a few sugardrops. The BOT did come back and I got through without having to build it up again on the phone, just played with half a BOT and the timed boosters from the space race and a few boosters here and there. Sleepless, I couldn't figure 4960 out but kept blasting away with combos and got lucky. As Ditte said, more fruits appear than you need to complete the level, No Ditte, I don't play CC on my smartphone, which is an Android, I don't want to be tempted while out and about. I play on an old desktop, so have never been able to reset, for example. I was a real plodder for a long time, just working my way through from beginning to end. I had looked back to see if you could play earlier levels to get sugar drops but the ones I looked at were all faded and unavailable. It wasn't until I was around level 3,000 that I came to this site and read a list of levels that could be played for sugar drops that I started doing that. It was about the same time that I also read about feeding the frog to get endless full bot. That was when I was able to catch up to you guys. By the way, I got my first life from a friend yesterday. I have always just played with the five lives and a new one every half hour. So I don't think I fit Sleepless's ranking as a super player. By the way Sleepless, I suspect there are thousands of players who have got this far but they don't post on this blog.

Finally got some time to play today. Completed through 4985. Levels that took more than one try were 4956, 4958, 4975, 4977, and 4983. I used a few hands and hammers but overall not too bad this week. I am off the grid for the next few weeks but hope to catch back up with all of you when I return. Happy Crushing!

Fun week and nothing too terribly hard with full space dash. Used a booster on 4983 but mainly because I was impatient and wanting to finish. Glad to be done!!

stuck on 4981 also. I nearly had it as I had about 15 hammers and could have hammered my way out of it. but I had the free spin so decided to use that to save hammers. did not get my free turns (no not fish -;) ) but since then I played so much takes too much time to get useless sugar drops was not lucky on 3303 I REST MY CASE!!!
I passed 4981 second try just with the BOT and fish. The first try I made the mistake of starting with a wrap/CB. That meant the waffles over the exits didn't get hit, just the one in the sides. And I focused too much on hitting the waffles with the stripes from the conveyors. Second try I started with CB/CB and also worked in (the sides of) the middle/main board, which got the stripes into the main board, which made it easier to hit the waffles over the exits, because the stripes then hit from the top instead of from the sides, where they always seemed to have the wrong direction and never got down to the bottom where the waffles are.
Getting stuck with only timed boosters and no space race to win. Think I might really stop at 5000. S
I actually won the jackpot today!! 4th time ever and first in MANY years!!
4981 just concentrate on the cherries, the rest will take care of themselves...not that this is easy

It's a Monday so you know the BOT had to disappear. Here's hoping it will reappear on Wednesday.
My BOT didn't disappear today as it usually does Mondays. If you start playing it might still be there or come back even though it doesn't show under the wheel.
@Ditte. I've played a bunch of levels including one new one (4984) with no BOT appearing. We'll see what Wednesday brings.
Should have thought of this before since it's happened before. The BOT should return once I finish the episode.
To maximize the number of daily stickers, I haven't finished the episode yet. Once I finish the last level, tomorrow at 0001 UTC, I'm guessing the BOT will return.
Only 15 levels to quitting time but seeing they will no doubt give us two episodes tomorrow, I'll make that 30 levels, so I can take a screenshot showing I was in the lead group when I chose to bring the game to an end. It has become quite tedious lately, in my opinion the game "jumped the shark" a long time ago.
As said my BOT didn't disappear yesterday. It was there, when I played 4985. But often it is gone Monday morning, when I play the last level of the episode. It comes back later in the day, but doesn't always show under the wheel, until I start to play and win a level.
The whole bot thing is quite annoying. I play on windows 10 with Facebook connected to that as well as to my current iPad. I had the spaceship until early Monday morning, and no bot or other equivalent has returned. I play unconnected to Facebook on an old iPad (so yes, I have made it through twice!), and I still have the build a bot on that device, along with a bunch of other things like the free boosters after watching an ad. Not sure why everybody gets a different game. No Rami or Didi for me on either device this week.

in 4999 always come NOT ENOUGH TARGET AVAILABLE?
Tough levels needing extra boosters 4987, 4996, 4998 and having same issue with 4999 as abcd.
Agree with abcd. 4999 is impossible as it is. There are not enough "lucky candies" on the board to produce the required targets. What's on the board at the start is all you get. I had very few boosters and wasted them all proving it. Also no Bot. Thanks King.
Actually, there are enough at the start, but some don't become yellow or red. Maybe, if there is such a thing as a luck board, maybe they do. The ones across the middle top are the worst at turning into other colors.
Hurray passed 5,000. This is how I cleared 4999, don’t hit the mystery candies with color bomb wrap as this will take away the underlying yellow or red candy. Nonetheless I still had to use 3 ufos, 5 hammers and 2 hands as I wanted to get to 5000.

Well done, Sleepless... I'm making my way there. I heard there is one of each booster as the grand prize. Not going to buy ha ha. However, perhaps there will be a pig in my future as I too want to get to 5,000 and then make a grand decision. OC

still on 4990 got 4986-4989 first try and played 4990 with double cb and should have used boosters/wheel spin to complete but wanted to save my boosters and try again. this time did not put 2 cb's together and was no where near passing. taking a break.
Also stuck at 4999. Twice I've thought I was almost there. Had gotten most of the crystal and the yellows and reds, but then got the "not enough target....". Again I have some problems with the app not connecting to the net.
I hammered my way through 4999. Didn't use a fish booster this time. I think they may also make the mystery candies the wrong colour.
Something seriously weird on 4999 playing Win 10 app. There are always 24 lucky candies to start. Exactly the amount needed. Even if I start with no boosters, so as not to upset the luckies, after any cascade occurs to rearrange the top row, there are no longer enough checks to provide enough targets. Even If I had UFOs and boosters I couldn't get through it. I gotta be missing something.

done 5015!!! 5008 was tough, needed boosters.
only got to 4995 so far and now I have no boosters at all left and no way of getting any. There are levels that I could have done easily if only I had one more hand switch or a hammer but I was trying to save the few I had. It sounds like I am going to find future levels impossible without paying money. The only things I have now are a F5 team game which so far in 4days has given us 1 hammer (the team keeps changing and at one point 3 of the members were the same person), and a bot with timed boosters. Even with that I won a flying saucer for 15 mins but it did not show up in the game I was playing although it would have been really useful. So completely fed up now. Think this is the end for me. I am heading into the European heat wave on holiday and will probably leave the laptop behind.S
Well friends, I joined the 5000 party this morning. Not without buying boosters. I got the pig for 4999 and used a party booster when I was close and had 3 red left. Not a fun episode and obviously King is out like a shark to get our money on this episode for fear of losing a ton of players. I'll plod along for a while. but figure I have paid my dues. So, no longer interested in doing that. Hopefully, all our friends will be there soon to pop the champagne. Cheers! OC

Still stuck on 4999, same thing with lack of reds/yellows.
Came close- down to 2 jellies, tried my last 3 UFOs in a row and none went anywhwere near jellies pfft!
King must have felt sorry for me. I used 2 ufos in 4999 and a party booster only
to end up with not enough colors ....again....Then next time I had a half bot and was able to pass it with no extra help. I have no idea what got me through it after countless tries but glad to past it!
5008 done with three hammer and one hand switch.
I'm at 5011, which was a bit difficult to pass because of bombs. I struggled more with 5006 than with 5008, where I only used a hand to set up a cb/cb, got it second try. Used 5000 a couple of times to build the BOT. Easy to win, but takes time/lots of moves.
Level 5000? Level 5011? How do you get these so early???
I'm on Android and these haven't shown up. Is there some trick that will make them appear?
Struggling with all levels with no boosters, but finally got to 4999 and having no luck keeping enough reds. S
been on level 4999 for a few days now can't get enough of the right colors I get 11 of one color and 13 of the other color I am wasting hands, hammers and UFO's I just played 15 games and I still can't get enough of the right colors so unless King makes it so that the lucky candies are even you can't pass the level. Unless somebody knows how Please share. Thank You
They have changed level 2000. It is now easier and quicker to play, so it is good for rebuilding the Bot but there are fewer colour bombs to help with Popsicle Planet, There are now no mystery candies, so no bombs but there are stripe and wrap dispensers at the top of both parts of the board.
Still on 4999. Same story. always one or two too many of one color, not enough of the other. Win 10 PC.
Just noticed something about level 5000. Call it an Easter Egg in the open. In the bottom half, the blocks are arranged to spell the letters "SK".
This undoubtedly is to pay homage to the Sebastian Knutsson, the co-founder of King and the father of "Candy Crush".
I'm sure the rest of you already noticed that and I'm just slow :).
Junec 81 well I made it pass 4999 with a full bolt and got a lucky board that had enough red and yellow. Passed level 5000 and King gave me one of everything for reaching that level. Thanks King. Good luck on level 4999 you just have to wait for that lucky board.
Got 4999! They must have changed something. No boosters except the CB I started with. 3 moves left over.
Nice observation, Ralph! I made it to 5015. Pretty difficult week. Frustrating when you have determined no more buying boosters:) We will wait and see what next week brings. I wonder how long the game will go on. Congrats to everyone who is making it to 5000. OC
I think I'm going to take a little break here after finishing 5000. Pretty CC overloaded from the marathon "Catch up." Congrats to all, see ya in a couple weeks. If anyone gets a chance, it might be fun to verify that 4999 got a bit easier.

I read the bottom letters at the bottom of level 5000 as 5K for 5000. Maybe could be both.
Finally realised on 4999 that if you remove all of one colour first (red or yellow) then the lucky candies only change to the remaining colour needed. Still needed a UFO to finish on last move, 5000 was fun :)
As kik said, 4999 is not that hard once you realise you have to clear one colour then the rest turn to the other colour. I did it on my second try but did use all my five hammers to get that first colour. I've only got one hammer now but will get another when I win Popsicle Planet in two days time. Still, I have 55 gold, four switches, four UFOs, one pinata and one paint brush, so should get to my finishing point of 5015 by Wednesday. Then it will be sayonara folks. See ya later mates. Now I only get timed boosters and a little gold from sugar drops, that is the last straw for me.
Weird question. Where is everyone? It would be a riot to get a few of us together at a Denny's some Wednesday morning to compare strats on what move to make next. Also the breakfast would be great. I'm in Banner Elk, NC USA. So far in the middle of nowhere, they have to pump daylight out to us. I have access to an airplane, so can travel a bit.

On 5013, as soon as you can, use the frog to block just below the licorice dispenser and don't move it! It makes it significantly easier to clear the level.
I've finished 4955 and app tells me there are no more levels. From your postings, it's obvious there are many more levels, but they won't load on my iPad or phone. Any suggestions?
The time has come the Walrus said to speak of many things, of shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Talking of Kings, before I go, I will explain the other reason why I never gave King any of my money, (by the way OC, time is money when you are working but if you measure your leisure time in terms of money, then that is sad. There is an opportunity cost of course, the time you spend doing one leisure activity prevents you from doing another, so I guess it is okay to monetise that.).
King have developed this game using all the principles that are used on slot machines in order to get players addicted to it and to then be prepared to keep giving King small increments of money that add up to a huge whack of coin for King. There'as lots of flashing colours, lights and explosions as the candies cascade down the screen, all feeding the pleasure receptors in your brain with a flood of feel good chemicals. Then there is the trick of giving you a board that you could complete if only you had one more move, just one, you can see the move waiting there on the board in front of you and you have played this level so many times already! Go on, just this once, go to the store and buy another five moves, just this once, it won't hurt. HOOKED!!!!
I assume there are many millions who play the game around the world, maybe 20 million in the USA alone. Just think, if King get just $5 a week from four million of the many millions of players,then that is a billion dollars a year. So no need to feel sorry for them OC, there is no obligation to help King make money, they are making a motza.
So farewell friends. I think the opportunity cost has caught up with me and it is time I found other things to do with my little time left on this earth. Candy Crush was fun to play but King, I was awake up to your tricks from the get go. I was aware I was addicted, and so I was in control of that addiction, you weren't. Enjoy your Crushhing friends.
wawa - The higher levels are only on the Windows 10 app, which runs 4 episodes higher than phone apps or Facebook.
On my game there are no hard levels listed. It is true that it is easy to win most of the levels.... but without hard levels I can't win the hard level quest. Anyone else? So, are my levels going to be easy from this point forward LOL.... OK probably not... but did this happen to anyone else? OC

I've been watching 4999 to see what kind of changes King would make. They REALLY lightened up on it. It's still a very hard level, but can definitely be done without boosters. I did it twice out of 8 tries. Once there were three "lucky candies" left on the board and a move left over.
MB a meeting sounds fun but apparently I am currently 4100 miles from Banner Elk, so it depends if you fancy bringing your plane over the Atlantic!
Shame to lose Graeme. I also need to spend more time doing something else, and since I have no boosters left this is the ideal time to back off. I will not be spending money. We'll see how addicted I am. S.

Happens sometime due to apps update or busy server. Usually a re boot after a short while should work.

done 5045, many fun levels. Those needing extra boosters 5019 and 5028.
In 5019 I started with a wrap/cb which seemed to work better than a cb/cb.
Completed through 5045. New feature of Sugar Stars when you Master a Level. Has anyone else seen these?
I didn't see them yesterday, but have seen them in a couple of levels today. No idea what the point is.
Maybe something happens, if your reach the score that appears on the screen with the sugar stars. I haven't been near reaching it.
Very easy week. No boosters needed except the full bot. Got back on Facebook by uninstalling the game and reinstalling. At that point, I didn't care if I lost everything since playing with no ability to get the bot or boosters didn't thrill me at all. The blue stars just mean you have mastered the level. You get three blue ones and a crown. I think they are useless apart from that. OC

Needed booster for 5019 which was hardest one for me this week. Also had trouble with 5030 but ended up passing after many tries with the proverbial lucky board and lots of patience.
5008, been here one day now, I want to move on. Any help, I don't have a booster. Maybe magic. I don't know.
Did everyone get the garden party? I complained to King that I didn't get it and they gave me the canned response yada yada.... so I complained again and I got it just now... probably everyone gets it.... You have to wait a day to continue .... you get to play 1000 and then have to wait for next one etc. You get 15 minutes of the CC for the first one. OC
Well now I am a little peeved,,, according to my Game at4985, there are no more games available, yet looking through all the comment,,, it goes well beyond 5000,, Grrrr sitting here day after day siting for new games again
New levels/episodes come Wednesdays. We're using the windows 10 app, which is 2 weeks/4 episodes ahead of phones etc.

Thanks for the clarification! I've often wondered why I wasn't getting updates the same as others but was especially frustrated the last few days waiting to get to 5000! I completed 4985 days ago and am still waiting...
As said new levels/episodes are released Wednesdays. Usually after/around noon in Europe. So tomorrow you'll get 4986-5000 and 5001-5015.
My game keeps crashing in the middle of playing and I can't get past a level. It's been happening for days now. I've already lost all my boosters three times in the last few months by sync-ing with Facebook so loathe to try this. Anyone else having the same problem?
