done up to 5885.
First episode done. Pretty easy. Most difficult one is probably 5873.
2nd episode also pretty easy except for 5889. 3rd episode seems like the worst of the 3. In 98 I used a hammer. A fish would be good to add. 5902 and 5904 also difficult and now I'm stuck at 5910. Not even close. Theme of the week is definately checkmarks/collecting items.
5910 done with checkmark, UFO, hammers and extra moves. Impossible to get enough licorice. You need to get the top knots within very few moves and then at least one UFO to get the licorice. Or wait until it is made easier, which I'm pretty sure it will.
done up to 5900.
5911 done. Also difficult, but can unlike 5910 be done with a lucky board.
5902 done with 1 ufo and hammer.
5904 done with 2 hammers.

I've been stuck on 5904 since yesterday. Fun week...
stuck at 5910, wasted 1 UFO which didn't increase the licorice!

5910 has been changed as predicted. Down from 24 licorice and 24 waffles to only 8 of each.

Still stuck on 5904 with no boosters, and king removed my bot today. I may or may not catch back up.
Now stuck at 5915 which needs at least 2 UFOs if not more!!
5915 done with 1 UFO, hammer and hand!!!
Done...5915 with one hammer and one hand switch. You only have to get one of those swirls on the outside to get through to jelly then they all go. So, when one of them was the last color purple I believe I hammered it. Then all the jelly appeared from under the rest of them. I used a hand switch to make a favorable move and then made it pretty easily. I did start with cb/cb. I used stripe/wrap when possible too. See ya next Wednesday... OC
5915 done with 1 ufo and 2 hammers.
5915 done with 5 extra moves from the spin and 2 hammers. Tough 3rd episode.

5923 done with 5 extra move. don't uce cb+cb.
Tough 1st episode. I struggled with 5916,18,25,29 and especially 5921. After lots of tries I ended up using hammers to get the last swirls. And even that took 2 tries and some wasted hammers as a swirl was missing the first time.
Also some difficult ones in the 2nd episode. Used a UFO for 5933, in 5935 reset/shuffle until the fruit is over the middle. It's easier to clear the blockers there than in the sides. After I got the first fruit down, I only had to get one of the evil spawners. In 5937 you'll probably need a hand to shift the fruit to the right. It's difficult not to destroy the yellow keys.
5955 done and done for today. In 5954 the fish target bombs before jelly so not very useful. 5949,50,53,54 and 55 needed more than one try. 55 very difficult.
stuck on 5925
5925 done with 2 hammers. 5933 done with 1 ufo.
5916 was difficult, played over 10 times, 5921 needed 2 hands and now stuck at 5925!
5925, took many, many tries. Go after the black springs first as they are the hardest to obtain
5957 also difficult.
5925 impossible for me, not even close to use a UFO. I marvel at those who passed it.
5945 done.
5954 done with 2 hammers.
5955 done with 1 ufo.
5960 done.
5960 completed. 5960 was also the level that took the most tries out of the three episodes this week. This was probably because I was out of boosters by then. Happy Crushing!
aargh, still stuck on 5933 with no boosters. Need a dozen more moves.
Yes 5933 is bad. Doesn't look so bad when you first look at the board, but it doesn't take long to find out that it is.
Not looking forward to 5960 now!
Yes also stuck at 5933. Will be away for about 2 weeks catch up later fellow crushers.

sleepless, did you start with double colourbomb or keep the top corners for later?
Best to keep the TOP corner and max impact when you see enough of same Color. Double Color bomb didn’t work for me.

5925 might be one of those levels that just will let me pass it when it wants to. I will post for luck anyway. haha
5933 is nasty. I ended up using my two UFOs on it to clear the bottom corners.
done 5960. 5955-60 needed a hand or hammer here and there!!! 5950 and 5957 took the most tries!
Oh my goodness this was a rough week imho. I wasn't looking forward to 5960 because of all the accounts, but I got that one first go with no boosters. Have used all my boosters on this week. Used a couple of party poppers and a bunch of ufos that I acquired from various ways. However, all gone now. Had trouble on all the levels mentioned above and many, many tries to get done. Will be starting the new week with no boosters unless they come by way before then. I'd love to mention one way I have been acquiring boosters but I dare not because of the powers that be that are stalking our site. You all probably know all the tricks anyways. OC
stuck on 5950. not even near getting it done.
done atlast with one hand and 2 hammers :)
level 5923 - try not to hit the chocolate at the top of the board; you don't have to clear it, and once it's gone, bombs will drop

5960 done, wow tough week! Ditte thanks for the tip on 5935- was stuck there a while too.
(5933 now has 3 more moves and less layers)
5964 done with 1 UFO.
Tough first episode. Used some hammers for 5964. 66 needed a UFO. 67 and 68 needed lucky boards. 71 difficult to get enough points. Don't destroy the evil spawners early. You need as many bombs from them as you can get. After several tries I passed 74 with a hand and a hammer. Hoping the next episode is easier.
2nd episode done. Fortunately easier than the first. 5984 needed a bit of luck and unfortunately my computer froze/crashed just when I thought I had it. It is acting weird today. In 5988 try to clear most of the jelly before hitting the knots as bombs will fall when the knots are gone. 5990 also needs a bit of luck to shift the middle fruit sideways and it's not easy to clear all the jelly. Good Luck!
6000 done. Nothing seemed to happen. No rewards or anything. I'm hoping it's been the cc app acting up today and not my computer. New obstacle introduced in the 3rd episode. Pink stuff covering the candies. Will take a bit of getting used to. Seems like the only moves you can make before the pink is removed is matching candies of the same colour. No combos involving candies/specials covered in pink. 5997 and 5998 were the most difficult for me. When I passed 97 I started with the cb/cb in the right side and collected the keys in the left side before switching the cb/cb.
Yep 6000 done for me too and NADA... not a thing! How dissappointing was that..... maybe it's time to move on !
King is apparently going to "fix" the issue with lives very soon. That is if you "inspect" a level and immediately back out you will now lose a life.

As others comment. "Funny" they're calling it a "fix" and an "issue". It has been like this for years, and isn't an "issue" for us players, only for King. Not like it's something new they've just discovered and decided to "fix".
I just tried playing 6001 and it seems like the issue has been "fixed". No backing out allowed :-( And since asking for lives hardly gives me any, just from one nice person this will hit me hard.
6001 done. Took a few tries and I ended up using the checkmark booster. So annoying not being able to back out until you have a cb/cb to start with.
Is that really kings official site? They have fixed the issue though and one loses a life and a booster as well while resetting the board. I recall this happening once before but then it was ACTUALLY FIXED. Some how looks like a prank. I do hope its a prank
DM it's not a prank. If you back out of the board you lose your last booster. I think King has gone MAD. This way of playing stinks. It takes you so long to get boosters and then they want you to use them all on one level. I hope they change it back soon.

Has the reset button been disabled? When I reset, I am asked if I want to quit the game.
Pat, it has been disabled. Apparently being able to reset wasn't intentional from the beginning. Who knows why they let it go for this long but now they're "fixing" it to stop letting us reset the board and lose a life/booster if we quit now.
This fix also makes Space Race more difficult. Not impossible but more difficult.
I didn't have the space race last week or this week. Instead it was about collecting stars and since I play most of the new levels Wednesday I don't have many stars left to collect when the "cosmic climb" appears.
I also just had collecting stars last week. I came in first and received nothing! I just got space race back late today.
5971 is down to 600,000 instead of 750,000.
5990 done without resetting the board. space race come again this week.
5998 done with 2 hammers.
6005 done.
Stuck on 5974- no reset, no boosters, blah.
