It`s really difficult ..I tried for days but it seems they made it this way to have more time tocreate new levels.

That's my thought too. I'd love to know who made that video and how many tries it took them, it makes it look so confounded easy it's giving me a complex. I've played it dozens of times and might have gotten it once if I'd been willing to fork out for another 15 moves or so.

Any help will be appreciated!! I've been stuck on this for nearly a week.. twice I got close and both times the game screen wouldn't let me move.. everything else still worked (like the quit button and booster buying) so I'm absolutely fuming that it does appear to stop me from levelling up! I even went against all I believe in and bought extra moves- and again it froze me when I had to do the final switch of stripe and bomb. I'm the only one of my friends on this level and am soooo close to deleting it but omg I'm addicted. grrrrrr x

now that new levels are there they might fix this up a bit so its able to be done

Hardest level of Cancy Crush so far. The bugs don't help. Sometimes the cyclones will disappear for 3 or 4 turns. Sometimes the board will freeze and I can't move any candy. Really frustrating level.

Carole Greenberg said...

Lucia
I said the exact same thing. This level freezes just as you are about to win. I emailed CC Saga and they said I was the only one to complain - that I should clear the history on my computer. I tried it on 3 different computers. You can clear the tornadoes by blowing them up with striped candies. But then they come back to eat the boosters that you worked so hard to make.
I am sure it is CC Saga's way of getting people to buy boosters. I got through all the other levels without boosters. And I am not about to spend money on a free game just to get through a level.
Level 425 sucked the fun out of the game.

Still stuck, but not giving up yet. I came very close and should have used a lollipop hammer on a bomb (I got a bunch of free ones for playing other games), but didn't think of it. That's about the only booster that's worth using: the cyclones will just wreck anything else. And even that I will use only if I have all my striped-wrapped crosses and just need a few more blues.m

Carole Greenberg said...

Lucia
I do have some hammers that I got free. I have gotten through all the other levels without using any boosters. I do not want to use any on this one. Once you get the 4 bombs there will be 4 more. Then 4 mores. So you would have to use a lot of hammers. It would help if the cyclones did not eat the wrapped candy at the bottom.

Anonymous said...

This level is nearly 100% luck! beyond absurd - nearly impossible. I have NO friends (over 100 play) who have done this level. The few videos posted that complete this are VERY lucky with many wrapped candies created.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous
I finally got through it. Since I refuse to pay for any boosters I clicked on claim your offer when I ran out of other lives. If you play one of their other games (get through the first 8 levels) they give you 3 hammers. I did this with 4 games - got 16 hammers. I used two and now I have 12 left. After I got through the levels to earn the hammers I deleted the other games. Crappy way to do it. But I knew I would not get through it without them.

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately the hammers don't help you switch swapped and striped! you need a LOT of luck as well as the hammers to wipe out the bombs. has anyone (other than the video here) done this level WITHOUT help?

Carole Greenberg said...

I did get through ALL the levels so far (I am on level 437) without buying a booster. I do have the hammers I got from playing other games. But I did not see how they were going to help. I made a chocolate colored bomb and mixed it with a striped candy. And at some point I hit two wrapped candies together. I can not say how many times I tried. But it was only a few days of trying.

Anonymous said...

Finally got it. But did need two boosters. One hammer and a set of extra moves. You need an awfull lot of luck on this level. Just keep trying.

Constantine Markellos said...

Well, I started calling this level "the 38 special", bombs 1 of the 4 bombs getting me. I did get pretty far, ended wth 20 blue and 2 wrap/stipe combos needed. My philosophy has always been to pay a little to advance if needed. 4 - 5 days is enough for me so I payed for 2 extra sets of moves. When I complete this game, I will go back to levels 410, 419 and 425 to try and get them with no boosters. It is hard to give any set strategy on this one. Maybe take wrapped/stripped combos as soon as they are available. Also, keep an eye on the colors of the first set of bombs. Sometimes when you have 2 of one color you can use a color bomb to get you past the first wave. This round was very dynamic as opposed to some of the levels in this episode. Candy On!!!! Dean

Anonymous said...

I love advice such as "take any wrapped/striped combos as soon as you get them". Well, DUH. The problem is having the chance to even GET those combos! This level is pure luck...and so far I haven't had it in hundreds of tries. The few videos that complete this level have extraordinary lucky drops with wrapped/striped combos just falling into place and tornadoes wiping out bombs. I have hundreds of friends playing this game and not one has completed this level without using lots of hammers or the like.

Anonymous said...

I cleared level 455 last night. I got through every level without paying a cent. I did not buy any extra moves, any hammers or any other boosters. I never got a board that started off with the chocolate color bomb, etc. It is possible to make the wrapped/stripped combos, etc. It just takes time. What fun would the game be if it was easy?

Anonymous said...

You can get rid of the tornadoes by hitting them with a striped candy. Then they disappear for 5 moves.

For the person who mentioned that you can get rid of the tornadoes with stripes...that is true but then you will lose fast because you need the tornadoes to luckily hit the bombs!

Anonymous said...

Believe what you want. I got through all 455 levels without buying a booster or extra moves. My scores and 1 or 2 stars show that.Every level can be beaten without paying for anything. Easy? No. But to me the fact that it is hard is what is fun. Just because you can not get through the level and you are so frustrated does not mean others can not do it. I belong to the Facebook page Candy Crush Saga and LOTS of people not only made it through this level, they made it through level 455 without using boosters. You can tell the people who did not use boosters because like me, their scores are low.

Anonymous said...

Just so you know I got through levels 441-455 in less then a day. They made this level easier and more fun.

Anonymous said...

I'm another sufferer who agrees that the tornado series of 15 rounds is just awful! Remember when this game was fun and you had the challenge of planning moves and using SKILL instead of LUCK which comprises 95%+ of the rounds in this level? I have had one friend complete level 425 and they admittedly used a few hammers and lucky candies.

Anonymous said...

I managed to pass this level using +5 moves and 4 lolly pops to setup the last wrapped/striped combo, I have to say that this was probably the best investment I've made recently as it ended what was possibly the worst episode in the history of online gaming, I will take this opportunity to also congratulate the Candy team for creating the least entertaining series of games I've ever played :D

On a positive note, if that can help people to once again smile, there are no tornadoes in the next episode! It's now almost too easy :P

Anonymous said...

Add me to the list of unhappy campers. The game was good while it lasted but after 3 weeks and hundreds of tries at this I am done. Obviously no developers read these forums as they would have attempted a fix if they had any sense. There is no way I'm spending money on boosters when it probably wouldn't help anyway without using many.
This level might have been reasonable with no bombs and maybe 2 or 3 tornadoes.

Anonymous said...

After reading the tips from here, I was able to beat this level. A total of 3 tries. I had to use one free hammer that I had since I've started playing CC.

I didn't try hitting the tornadoes. I just made one color bomb + stripe to get rid of the time bombs.

When I created a wrap, I made sure a stripe candy can be easily made close to my wrapped candy. And when I smashed them, I did it below, to hit the bombs.

I had 6 moves left.

Anonymous said...

I at least occasionally bought boosters but I refuse to spend another cent until this blatantly abusing level is corrected.

Anonymous said...

When looking at another help site for CC Saga, the example showed a paint brush changing a plain candy into a striped candy. I am unable to find this option. Can you please tell me where to find a paint brush within the game. Thanks

Anonymous said...

You have to buy the paint brush.

Anonymous said...

But you do not need to buy the paint brush or any other boosters to get through the level.

Anonymous said...

I finally got this, although it has taken me several days of frustration!

Whatever bugs people had been experiencing seem to have been resolved. It is very, very difficult, but can be done without boosters.

Good luck!
Virginia

Anonymous said...

Feel like it was cheating...but I played another game, received hammers that I used for the number bombs and got through it. I'll come back later and see if I can do it without hammers. Onto 426. Good luck! PM

Anonymous said...

I think levels 426-455 were easy compared to the other levels.

Anonymous said...

Seems like they made some changes to this level overnight. Bombs are now 15 seconds... and there are only 200 blue candies to destroy... much more manageable. Passed it with 1 move left this morning.

Anonymous said...

Congratulations.

Anonymous said...

yeah, they must've changed something. passed it with 8 remaining moves, scored 774460.

Anonymous said...

If they changed it this morning, someone changed it back this evening. The first time I tried to play it, I came really close. The second time there were 230 blues instead of 200 and the bombs were 10 instead of 15. I have yet to pay for anything, and do not plan to. Perhaps the changes are for one try each day.

Anonymous said...

Really Anonymous September 4, 2013 at 6:45 AM? I still need to get the same blue & combo requirements as when I started this level over a week ago and my bombs still explode within 10 moves. Do they have different versions for different people? I am about ready to give up on this level. It has become so boring and monotonous to know that the bombs will almost always end the level before I get close to meeting the requirements. The number of blues is not the problem; the number of combos is not a problem; the bombs and even the tornadoes are not really a problem. It's that all of these are together in one board! Congrats to anyone who passed this without boosters - I haven't been that lucky yet.

Anonymous said...

something tells me that the bombs have intelligence, it wrecks where you are about to make your winning move

Lisa said...

Right now playing on a windows computer through facebook I have to get 230 blues and also my bombs are only 10 moves each. How can I get the update that is only 200 and 15 moves?

These last 15 levels have made me want to quit this game. I think they made it beyond the necessary hardness that it should be.

Anonymous said...

Instead of paying for boosters I would rather just pay to skip a level? Maybe CCS people should let us do that. This level bites the big one!

Anonymous said...

HOW TO GET THE UPDATE FOR THIS LEVEL?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous - the iPhone/iPad only go to level 410. If you want to play the higher levels you can do it one of two ways - 1) play them on a PC through Facebook or 2) go to the app store and get the free Puffin Browser (it is only a two week trial then you have to pay for it. WELL worth it since it is better and much faster then Safari). On Puffin log into Facebook and go to Candy Crush app. The game will be set to the last level you played.

Anonymous said...

Level 425 is not impossible. A little harder then some of the levels. But again not impossible. It can be done without paying for boosters. If you keep playing it long enough eventually you get a board where the tornadoes eat the bombs.

Anonymous said...

Finally passed this level with 5 moves left after 3 weeks!
The previous version with 230 blues & 5x strip & wrap candy combos & time bomb 10 secs totally impossible for me to finish it; playing with verify version just 200 blues & 5x strip & warp & time bombs 15 secs is some how difficult also but can be done.
so cheers on!
Tips for this level :-
1. not need to panic on the 200 blues cause will be collected during yours moves;
2. try to reach to bottom by eliminating the cup cake as possible, will be easy to mix the strip & wrap combos then wash out the time bombs;
3. patient to look for the combination of wrap candy then look around to make strip candy around; sound impossible while all the tornadoes around...but try!
4. pay & try your best to finish up this level;
good luck!

Lisa said...

How did you get "verifying version" with 200 blues and 15 move bombs? My facebook version is still 230 blues and 10 move bombs?

Anonymous said...

I thought 410 was bad, but this whole series with the tornados is ridiculous and took all the fun out of the game for me. Now stuck at 425 and fed up. It was fun when there was skill to it and not just blind luck. This whole series makes me think the creators went out on strike and the cleaning crew desiged it !!

Beat it after 10 tries on the last move!
Most of my lives are killed by the time bomb. So try to survive from time bomb first then look for wrapped candies to make combos. The twister candies are extremely smart to crush your plan. HATE it!

I just beat this level without boosters!!!! It only took me my fifteenth try too and I thought I was NEVER going to do it. Strategy that I used was to look for making wrappers and then nearby stripes. Try to do them close to the bottom so you can knock out the bombs. On my final move, I needed one more wrapped-stripe combo and 30 blues. Well, I lined up the combo and somehow got the rest of the blues with that one last move and scoring 430,860 points for three stars. The cascades afterwards helped win it for me! I still can't believe I finished this level :) Good luck everyone, it IS possible!

Congratulations. I did not find this level as difficult as many on this board thought it was. When I said I got through it pretty fast, others verbally attacked me. I am happy to see that a few others got through it, too without boosters.

I am sure that the people who post the videos had the same problems with the tornadoes as everyone else. They just do not post how many tries it took them to get through the level. The videos are meant as a guideline to help us. My guess is it took them just as long to get through each level as it does everyone else.

I really enjoyed this level - took 4 lives to do it, but for me it had skill rather than simple luck involved.

All the comments had me scared. But I was able to pass this level without using any boosters in one day. I refuse to pay for this game. So for all who think it's impossible to get this far without paying money...think again. Perhaps buying boosters is what's really keeping you from mastering the game...you keep taking the easy way out! :-)

I always thought all levels can be done. I came this far without buying any boosters. But this level seems impossible even to me. I can't get a single combination done, because as soon as I'm able to make a wrap, the tornadoes destroy all the striped I may have near it. And then the wrapped candies explode without reason. Plus, I can't beat the bombs. Ten moves until they explode is just impossible. And of course the tornadoes don't destroy them. Maybe the 15 moves bomb version will come with the next update. It might be possible to beat the level then. - Gabi

Thank you for posting that LP I was trying to figure out what the above user meant by "verified version." So the 15 tick bomb is on a PC and if you don't have Facebook this level is a 10 tick bomb, and 230 blues for an iDevice correct?! UGH.

Congrats to everyone making it this far already and enjoy the upper levels, unless there is an update that changes this level I don't think I, or the other iPad/iPhone non-facebookers will be joining you.

It has been a blast, thanks for all the help and encouragement along the way everyone, all of your tips on the hard levels got me this far! And special thanks to the site owner for such a great thorough job. Deb :)

So, it is 10 moves for bombs on iDevices and 15 on computer? That is not cool.

421 was bad. This is really twisted.

Anonymous said...

How do we continue to 426? Finally completed 425...no fun at all...

Anonymous said...

Started it today, and I don't think it's as bad as some of the others. I got all of the blues and needed one more wrapped/striped when I died, but I think eventually I'll get it.

I've never spent a time on this game. If I have extra moves it's because someone has given them to me. So far, it's worked out. It just takes time. I'll be glad for this series to be over, though. I've read that it's probably the hardest one so far.

Anonymous said...

Tried the suggestion of downloading puffin to access cc via fb, thereby having 15 secs on the bombs - completed 425 on my first try this way

Frank said...

As I predicted, they made the level easier on FB. Don't know what exactly (one colour less?) but almost made it a number of times since wednesday (only one combo to go), and todat I completed the level with a three star score.

Still, I don't think it's a nice way to treat your addicted players. And I do hate those cyclones, turning the game from a game of skill into a game of luck.

Anonymous said...

One of the things that bugs me the most about this level (on FB) is how long it takes for the animation to load for each move.

Les said...

Never thought I would complete this level and was on verge of giving up but then wham!!! the wrapped striped combos just kept falling. Had to keep eyes on bombs and nearly caught out but kept horizontal striped on bottom row to deal with the lower bombs. Never chased the colours until the very end and easily obtained. 9 moves left and got 3 star level.

Les said...

Personally I will buck the trend of so many comments here and compliment the game makers on their levels up to 425. What is the point of them being too easy to complete? This is supposed to be a challenging game and one quality challenged is your sheer persistence to win. If you do not possess that quality then just give up now as I am sure subsequent levels will be much harder to conquer. If they are not then I for one will just be so bored playing CC.

Anonymous said...

I must be extremely lucky to have passed this level on my 3rd try. I tried 2 times on iPhone, and then passed it on my 1st try on FB. What did it for me was that I had a chocolate + stripe in my first few moves that really cleared the blocks at the bottom. Then, I was fortunate enough that the stripe + wrapped combos kept coming without me having to make a lot of moves to create them. I had 15 moves left at the end.
Yes, you can do it without boosters! Good luck!

Anonymous said...

You MUST find a PC to beat this bi@$h level! I did anyway. I tried for days on iPod and a few times on computer. Today I beat it with 10 moves no boosters, on my first try on Computer. Why is that? Now I have to wait for update to move forward on iPod. They make it sooo much easier on fb/PC. Weird.

Anonymous said...

How on earth do you get pass this level. It just seems impossible, those swirls drive me mad. Does anyone have any tips on getting through it, also is it correct that this 425 level is the last level on iPhone? Ta muchly for any tips.

Anonymous said...

I did it. I can't believe it, I did the 10-move-bombs version on iPad without boosters. I wanted to wait for the update but I got ambitious when I got down to one combo, realizing that it actually can be done. Still, most of the time the bombs exploded or the tornadoes ruined every move. I swear those things can read your mind. I just had to think of a move and they came down to destroy it.
I guess it was after more than 300 tries that I finally got a lucky board. I even had six combos, the last one wiping out enough blue candies. I even had two moves left.
I was lucky to have combos at the bottom which cleared the bombs and very very lucky that the tornadoes didn't touch them this time.
So it can be done, even without boosters. You just need a veeery lot of patience. Good luck to you. - Gabi

finally finish it after 3 weeks on my android (so it still 10 moves bomb) --; it almost drive me nuts especially when my sister finish this only with 2 try O.o it depend on the luck. just wish your wrapped will not suddenly blow due to cyclone or get blast by striped candy. keep trying and wish the best. good luck all.

Passed it on PC. Definetely easier. Bombs have 15 countdown. Just gives a chance to clear the bocks at the bottom making a chance to kill the bombs.

I was terrified of getting to this level because of how many people I've seen stuck on it. Luckily, I was able to beat it in about 4 tries...the further up you get it seems to become more about luck than skill. I got all of the stripe/wrapper combos done then focused on the blues...worked for me with 4 moves left!

cant understand thoes threating to quit.. 'oh no', its a 100% free game so its logic that at somepoint developers will try to make money out of it, dont like dont play, u come to this level u should have understand that before..
about me i didnt spent a penny yet cuz that exacly the challenge i like so thanks king!

about this level i think its alot easier then 417/421 , pass it in 5th attempt and was very close in 3 out of the tries,
always focus on makin wrapped candies as stripped r kinda easy, dont spend much moves trying to get candies close just look for more n more wrapped/striped to make and enlarge chances to have them toghwter, on start look for fast break of wall with wraped&striped or color&striped, ignore the 200 blues as u will get them anyway, goodluck

Anonymous said...

Passed this level in about 8 tries. Don't worry about the bombs. Priority should be making wraps and then stripes whenever they are makeable. If you make enough of them some will come close together. The combo wipes out the bombs. I didn't have to pay much attention to them.

I have made to this level without using any booster. (yes, not even +3 or +5 moves since I play almost exclusively on android and ipad) The worst 2 levels are 410 and 417, by far.

Anonymous said...

I've been stuck on 425 for days with no where to beating it. I decided to get on my Mac book and beat it at my first attempt. So everyone who is stuck, get on a computer and try it. The board is easier to rid the bombs. Good luck everyone!

Lei said...

I finished the level with no boosters, 3 stars topping all my friends on my 2nd try so it is very passable. This is the updated version of the evil level 350!
Some tips that might help:
* Your priority here is make wrapped candies. So finish first the wrapped * striped combo requirement. It is quite easy to make wrapped here. Make the combo in the lower middle part of the board.
* with wrapped + striped combo made down below this will complete the requirements and remove the 15-move bombs! Eliminated 2 birds with 1 stone.
* Color bomb + striped combo are also very useful here. So use it when you got it. You can eliminate blue candies or an off color.
* After the combo requirement is done you can start eliminating blue candies. In the course of completing the combos you can eliminate blues too so that makes easier for you.
Good luck! - lei

People who "refuse to pay" and then gripe about a free game and threaten to quit? Huh? You get paid for your job don't you? Why on earth should King work for free? And why would they care if freeloaders quit? Get real

Anonymous said...

First break thru as much of the bottom as u can while always looking for wrap possibilities. Use stripes to open up the bottom. Stripes are easy so u don't need to save them. Wrap combos will come when the board is open, just watch for them. Don't worry about bombs, concentrate on wraps. Stripe/wrap combos will take care of bombs. You might need a hammer or 2 to make a wrap happen or get rid of a latent pesky bomb. Believe me it's worth a few bucks.

Anonymous said...

When I saw all these comments I said to myself - here we go again! Another frustrating level. I really didn't think it was hard to do, many opportunities to make combos. Well I passed it after about 15 tries. Yes it was annoying that those tornadoes kept blowing things up but I knew I wasn't going to get stuck on it for days or weeks like some of these other levels in this episode. I got the five combos really quick and then went to work on getting the remaining blue candies. After passing 421 the remainder of the episode put some fun back into it for me.

Jojo said...

I remember reading on one of the previous levels that someone posted something here then immediately passed the level, so I'm testing this strategy :P superstitions, superstitons :D

Anyway, i got really close 2 times. i had a wrapped candy and only needed to make a striped one and match them and then i ran out of moves (the other time a tornado destroyed it) -.- but now i cant get past 15 moves as the bombs kill me. it's getting really frustrating.

Anonymous said...

I am guessing that something did change with this level! After I play a level once, I check the blogs. Looking at earlier blogs, there were some problems with this level. I am happy to report that although I didn't pass it on my first try, I only had 10 blues and 2 combos left but a bomb got me. I didn't try for blues, I just tried for combos and getting rid of bombs. After the heinous 417 and 421 levels, this is at least different and actually fun!

Anonymous said...

Must have been lucky, got it on the second try. Concentrate on making stripe/wrap combo first, they seem to get rid of the bombs, blue just looks after itself.

Anonymous said...

I've gotten down to 1 combo left. Blues seem to clear on their own. The bombs don't get me too often. I'm glad the developers made this level a bit easier! I'm looking forward to the next episode but need to conquer this first!

Anonymous said...

After everything I'd heard about this episode I was expecting the worst, but I got it on my second try (although it was mostly likely a lucky board). Focus on making wrapped candies first - they're the hardest - and don't worry about getting rid of blues until you've done all your combos and only spend moves on clearing bombs if they get too close to zero.

Anonymous said...

Passed this in two days! Focused on making the combos. The blues cleared themselves. Got lucky matching a sprinkle with a blue, along the way. Got my final combo with 3 moves to spare. Ended up with 3 stars and 294,400 points. Looking forward to a new episode!

The videos you are seeing are probably put up by someone from saga. I've done this level hundreds of times I would have to video all of them till I got it then post the winning one.

This level is very frustrating. It seems every time I get a wrap and a stripe the tornado immediately wipes it out or blocks. I can't even get close. I'll keep trying but this level is definitely not fun.

Anonymous said...

I finally completed this level after 3 days. I ignored the bombs at the bottom and concentrated on making a wrap and then a stripe next to it. I finally got a board that the tornado didn't kill my move every time I got one. I completed it with no boosters used. I am glad to be moving on. Good Luck!

Anonymous said...

I think they made the game a little easier. After hundreds of games going nowhere, yesterday it had 4 out of 5 of the combos, which never happened before and today I beat it with no boosters and a few moves left. Unbelievable. Keep trying. It might be easier now!

There is no strategy in this level ALL luck. You can't set anything up because they have the tornadoes there to take it away. I've played this level hundreds of times and just about every time you are getting ready to touch a combo together the tornado comes in an hits one or the other. Points are no problem also blues are easy, they take care of themselves.

Pamela Gibbons said...

Like all of the other 'impossible' levels, just keep plugging away. Yes, a lot of luck is needed in this round but I did find some strategies were helpful and got me through after only a day of attempts:
1. Concentrate on making a wrapped/striped combo early and at the bottom. That will take out the first lot of bombs and will wipe out the tornadoes for 5 moves.
2. Keep aiming for your striped/wrapped towards the bottom. Don't be tempted to make speckled, they don't really help.
3. After the first lot of bombs have been destroyed (point 1), don't worry too much about them, it will just waste moves. They will either be naturally detonated on a tornado will take them out. The tornadoes don't seem to be random which is annoying when they take out a combo set-up but they also seem to target bombs.
4. Get your wrapped/striped combo first. The 200 blue order seems to look after itself. I was prepared to pay to get rid of remaining blues but it wasn't needed.
5. 3 stars, 5 moves to spare, no boosters. Keep trying, it is possible. I did it in my iPhone.

Just playing other levels and go back to this one a couple times a day. No fun.

Anonymous said...

I got tired of this level, so I decided to sort of get back to basics- I went back through the earliest levels where I didn't score 3 stars, and worked on those for a couple days. I then turned my attention back here, and it was either pure luck, or just the breather to allow me to not keep making the same mistakes. Granted, I used a couple of hammers, but it's worth it for these levels.

Robadope said...

Man what an annoying level...
I spent a few weeks, and at least 100 lives on this level. Was very close a few times (1 combo left). FINALLY made it with one move left, no boosters used (never have..)
The only thing you can do here is keep an eye on the bombs, and try to make wrapped candies. The striped ones seem to come by themselves anyway. For the rest, it's pure luck and a bit of timing. If you can't see any immediate moves, take some of the lower lines, it will, in most cases, totally change the board.

KEEP ON TRYING!

Anonymous said...

Come on, King! Another level that is literally impossible unless you decide to bless me with that magic board - or I pay! The tornadoes take out almost every combo I make - when I am lucky enough to have an opportunity to make one! I saw in prior posts that the tornadoes take out the time bombs, but rarely do they do that for me! It takes me about 5 minutes to sail through 5 lives! The closest I have come is 3 of the 5 required combos. Almost every time, the 100 blue candies order is completed.

Thought I was done after 421 - I deleted the game when I realized I was at the mercy of the game makers. It took that long to finally throw in the towel. It has not been fun since those blasted tornadoes appeared. However, I reloaded the game to send some friends tickets - and here I am at 425! Once back, I breezed thru 421-424! Not sure I have the patience to wait for King to feel sorry for me - again!

Anonymous said...

This level is total BS. I refuse to give these people one more dime. They stole money in earlier levels by allowing purchase of extra moves but glitches would not allow you to beat the game. There should be a class action law suit for stealing.

Ole said...

Meh, took me about 12 (ish) tried before I completed it without boosters.

It is not impossible guys. The tornados should GTFO though. God I hate them

Anonymous said...

Finally! I was in disbelief when I scored that 5th combo - with enough moves to finish off the blues. The tornadoes behaved throughout the whole board. Again, after 350 and 421, I could not believe there were any worse boards - then along came 425! I am soooo glad to be done with the tornadoes - that was an awful set! No boosters, either!

chrissie lowe said...

Another pointless and loaded against you board after 421!

I thought I would never pass that and didn't even come close till one day after about 1000 games the king bros took pity on me and sent me a board that played itself and I passed easily.

This one usually lasts about 15 moves before the bombs go off.

If I manage to destroy them ( about one in twenty games) and have a decent game, it's quite enjoyable though you very rarely get to build moves up before the tornadoes destroy it.....

I will just keep playing patiently until they decide to send me that lucky hoard and I can leave this dreadful level behind.

It's been an endurance test and I hope the future is brighter!

Anonymous said...

Actually, compared to levels like 417,419 and 421, level 425 seemed comparatively easy. (well, easier...)

As long as you can blast through the blocks quickly and destroy the bombs, you have a good chance of completing this level.

I found it was easy to make candy balls which can be used to clear bombs, and I would sacrifice combos to destroy the bombs, yet was still able to make the necessary number of combos in 50 moves. Once you clear the board, making combos is quite easy.

karen underwood said...

Omg these blooming bombs are doing my head in

Anonymous said...

And I thought 421 was bad....this is 5 times worse :(

Neal said...

This is ALL about luck. There's no skill involved here at all. Even if you use skill to try and make some matches, the twisters come along and destroy any hope you had. Really poorly designed level. Like many others before it. These twisters are an absolute JOKE! They just remove any element of skill left in the game.

Anonymous said...

I've been stuck on level 421 for 5 weeks. I have played over 500 games on this level and the nearest I have got is 1 match to go. This level is more about luck than working out moves that will complete the level. I used to enjoy the game but it has now got to the point of just plain boring. I have given up playing on my ipad and now just play the odd game through facebook, in the off chance I pass this level. There is a fine line between keeping you interested enough to enjoy playing and continuing on and just being more a less impossible so you just give up, as now most of my friends have. I don’t mind being stuck for a few days or a week, but come on I need some chance on completing the level.

Anonymous said...

The levels that seem to rely so much on getting a lucky board are becoming boring. You can only put up with these for so long before you just get fed up as is shown by most of the comments above.

Today's update did absolutely nothing. I am on level 425 on the original CC game and level 65 on the new CC with the Owl.

This update is worthless pretty much like the game is starting to be.

In reality I probable beat this level over 30 times if CC would play fair and quit the random blow ups of my wrapped and striped candy combo's.

They also fail to make wrapped and striped candy on occasion during the game.

I am positive I will beat it on time but frankly I am fed up with the crazy creators of the newer levels.

Especially the cyclones.

I have enjoyed this site and all the help everyone provides. But, I think off to a New Year means off to something other than CC.

Good luck to everyone.

Anonymous said...

I figured this one would end my cc days....however, I started with a lucky board, played well and needed 10 more blues with 1 move left. I bought the 5 moves and bingo....got past it! My advice, keep plugging away and it will come like all the other difficult levels!!

Anonymous said...

I tried all the advice. See no reason to keep plugging away. Tried paying the extra to win it didn't work. I am just done. It is a shame cause I figure it's CC loss not mine as there are still plenty other hobbies I still have. When game after game I can't even get the first 4 bombs out of the way before I loose. It's not fair play when occasionally they let you get one wrapped combo then I still loose cause of the bombs and cyclones. In my mind 4 cyclones was us to much for this level. Either get rid of the bombs or cyclones. I have better things to go than wait for CC to dish out the lucky board or to play fair

I never thought I would pass 421 but I did but to have such another level so impossible is unfair ,so close to the next episode or I would give up.

Marc Shapiro said...

OK, so I tried this level for several days without being able to make wrapped candies. I looked at this forum, and WHAMMO the wrapped candies were making themselves and I passed the level the very next turn. Do you think the game knows that I was frustrated and looking here for help?

Anonymous said...

This level is sooooo boring.
Tornados + bombs + mandatory combos = poor level design...
You play during a few seconds (a few moves), you loose, you wait a few hours expecting to get a good board.
Not fun at all.
A very good opportunity to uninstall this app. Yiipee !

Just passed this level after being here for about 4 days.
Used no paid help! It can be done just need to have some luck I think . I think when you clear the first lot of bombs and you can manage the bombs that come after that , concentrate on getting the wrap / stripe combos and the blue candies will look after themselves when
you use the combos. I found that I always could complete the blues easily but the combos were hard so when I started to concentrate on making the combos it was easier. Hope this helps.

Wow! I was stuck on this board for weeks. I came to this board for tips this morning... Pretty much a waste of time except to see that others were equally hating this board. Just like one other person posted, as soon as I went back to the board I cleared it (no boosters, 11 moves left). There really might be something to the other poster's theory that CC knows when we're checking this website...

Anonymous said...

This level is totally impossible. Am done with CC until they change this level and make it doable! Even without the tornados this level would be tricky enough. Like many others no way I am paying for extra moves so sort it out !!!!!!

Anonymous said...

This level is terrible. Those tornados kill you, glad to see a few people passed it, wish in could!

Anonymous said...

I thought level 421 was bad, this isn't any better. 3 days now, only got close once. Too many tornados killing moves. We'll I guess when you keep getting higher in the levels, you should expect them to be more difficult

Anonymous said...

Woohoo! about 100 tries, but I did it! No boosters and no money(that's cheating anyway) Be patient, the right board will appear. Off to 426, hope the're not as bad as this episode!

Anonymous said...

I'm a bit fed up with everybody complain and saying "it's impossible". It is possible, because I have 'FB friends' that passed this level before I did. I also just passed this level (so it is possible) and finally finished this horrible episode. Yes, I also think it's not the best episode so far. Until now 147, 350, 410, 417, 421 and 425 are (to me) the toughest level.

I played it a lot on my iPhone but strange enough, I think it easier on a PC. I got close a couple of times already, but after 20 times I got lucky. 12 moves left!

My advice, try to get as many wrapped candies and color bombs as possible and bring the block down as fast as possible: the bombs on the side are killing you all the time. It seems hard, but if you finally have a wrapped and stripe combo, try to shoot as many tornado’s away as possible with that combo, at least 2. Wait one or 2 moves if you don't have any killed. Sometimes you're unlucky because one will destroy your combo, but you can't win if there are 4 tornado's active, that's a fact.

A colored bomb-stripe combo kills the tornado's as well, and you'll have 4-5 moves without any (or just 1) tornado.

Than, keep you fingers crossed a be lucky with everything that fells down. Luck in this level, as well as in this episode is a 'must have'!

Good luck from the Netherlands

after reading the comments on this level, i was getting ready to give up on it. just call it quits on my crushing career. HOWEVER, i decided to play it 8-9 times, just to give it a fair shake. like many others, i had no desire to spend any money or even download other games to get free boosters like the hammers. what worked for me was ignoring the blue aspect of it, and having my main focus be getting the square+stripe combos. Because, honestly, once you get the 5 of those, you won't have many other blues to collect anyway. BUT this level is mostly luck...you either get a good board or you don't....i guess i was just a lucky one.

Anonymous said...

Got here so far without buying help. However today all my free boosters disappeared at once (and no, they were not selected!) and special candies behave erratically. Wished they cleared the bugs on Android for this level. Thanks for all the advice - will try on the computer!

Anonymous said...

I passes this level yesterday while at gymnastics with my kids, it was on my android phone. I wasn't even trying that hard at first but then it was a combination of luck & practice (about 2 weeks on this level) that finally made me clear it! And it was done with 7 moves to spare, and no boosters! Wish I had a video. I could almost not believe it. It can be done if you try enough times. I would have paid for more moves on this level if I was close but did not need to. Phew... :)

Anonymous said...

I don't know what happened but i cleared the level in my first attempt. 610.000 points. Must be my lucky day. Good luck everybody.

Wow! This is tough. Going to try the tips from here.

Not sure why main page suggestions say get a stripe/wrapped combo and take out first lot of bombs and then you don't have to worry about them cuz the twisters will take care of them. I did this and the twisters did not touch one bomb and because of the twisters I did not get my horizontal stripe to go off in time... Guess that only works on lucky board.

HOW TO PASS THIS LEVEL. I was stuck on this level for days and literally had just gave up on the game as I am not into frustration and annoyance. My husband picked up my ipad and started playing for me to see if he could end my frustration, and started playing a different tactic. Within just a few games he had ten moves left and only one combo left to do, which I was able to make for him and put together, but the game glitches and the stripe pkg combo disappeared when I put them together and did not register. He continued playi g and within a few more games, finished the level for me. What he did was totally ignore making combos, but concentrated on using every move possible to destroy the cyclones. He basically made stripes as much as he could to destroy the cyclones. When he did, a lot of pkgs would form on their own and a lot of stripe opportunities, so he put them together when he could. He said he would ignore even a chance to form a pkg if it took away from him destroying a cyclone. Try this, it definitely worked. Think it was about 10 or 12 tries and he passed the level. If it does not, at least you killed a lot of cyclones.

When I first went on this level last night, my first thought was it's not do-able. So today I went on this site and read a lot of comments, then watched the video above. It all somehow calmed me and I actually did it just now. I tried like mad to break down the wall at the bottom and that helped a lot cos I had more access to mix the stripes with the wrapped which took the bombs out. Don't worry at all about getting the blues cos it happens automatically. I used my extra 3 moves which friends had sent me. I always struggle to make wrapped sweets so please just try cos if I can do it, anyone else who has conquered 424 levels can definitely do it. Good luck

Sara B said...

I have no idea what I did, but I often find that after reading through this blog and the comments, I finish the level. So I guess this site is good luck for me.

I tried not to worry about the bombs as much and concentrating on making the moves. Most of the wrapped form by themselves so I was lucky. I actually matched the wrapped and stripped with the last move and luckily I only had 5 blues left and it cleared that too.

Anonymous said...

What r u thinking! So random, so impossible! No skill whatsoever . R u trying to make players quit or what. I cannot get 5 combos no matter what, # of blues just happens in the process of trying to get impossible combos that tornados eat up with random cascades. I might go back and play other more fun levels to try to attain 3 stars but will not spend money for this impossible level!

Anonymous said...

Really! Decided to play a couple more days and what happens - tornados ate my wrapped candy before I could make one single move necessary to place it by a stripe. And then guess what happened - it did it again within 5 seconds of the last time. Just rub it in! Very evil!

Anonymous said...

So tough! Just was down to one move, had the stripe and wrapped right next to each other! One move left! The last swap I had to do! Omigawd the tornado just ate my stripe! I'm so gonna cry! Been playing this level for days and days! Whyyyyyyyyyy! Boohooohoooo!

Anonymous said...

Ignore the tornadoes. Ignore the blues. Ignore the blocks. Ignore the bombs until low. Concentrate on creating wrapped candy. It worked after about 40 attempts for me.

Anonymous said...

Why did they change the requirements for this one? Suddenly you need 230 blue ones and the bombs went down from 15 to 10? What's that all about?

Anonymous said...

Decided to take a break and did so for over a week. Went back to beginning and tried to get 3 stars on every level. What I discovered is the beginning was so much fun and actually made me feel "skilled" and not so controlled by the computer. Went back to 425 refreshed and hopeful BUT left with same defeated feeling as b4!! This level is impossible! I am done!

This level so frustrating.Lost count the number of times I have been down to only having to get last combo and on the times I made the combo had the swirl take either the wrap or stripe.I'm done.Have deleted and back to reading for me.

I'm done too. I'm so bored with this now, I decided to look at the comments for levels beyond 425, and it seems they are going to be just as boring. I've better things to do with my life. Nice knowing you all. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Well surprise, surprise. After posting on here that I'm done with this game. I did it. Pure chance. Good board. I might carry on............but then again...........;-)

I have been playing for over a week on my PC, Iphone, and Ipad. I get to 38 moves left and I am done. A bomb has not gotten rid of and so I am done. I do not use extra moves as it does no good. I have tried the suggestions of stopping the whirlwinds. I have been totally unable to stop them and they love to eat everything I set up or happens by accident. This is dreadfully hard. Mind you I am playing each place I have the game several times a day. 38 left, 38 left. Once I had 36 left. I cannot get the stripes down before they are eaten by whirlwinds. Are you really getting past this level? I have not been even close yet.

Turned on C crush this morning only to find ithad updated itself and is now even harder. They have increased the number of blues needed to 230 AND lowered the time on the bombs by half. Have been on this for weeks but that is it for me now. 8 moves per game and I am out

I realized the update when the top indicator on top (blue and combo) exhanged in position. Stupid Candy Crush programmers! What is the reason behind changing blues to 230 and decreasing the time of the bombs to 9?? Idiots!!!! This is already a hard level to beat! I'm out, been so proud and invited to people to play this...now, kiss your fan goodbye! This sucks! What a total waste of time!!!

This level is making me think about giving up. I am not even close to it. The toffee twisters seem to know just where to go to ruin my game. Have spent enough time on this level, it's time to go before it drives me insane!!

This impossible. Why?

Please, please, makers of CC play level 425 and than you understand all of us. It is really impossible to make this level. Otherwise bye, bye Candy Crush. This is really no fun at all Greeting from Netherland

Anonymous said...

This is the most difficult level so far...Hints are not too helpful as luck rules...The bombs get me every time...Can't get the stripes/packages low enough quickly...Possibly a chance every 50 boards...Do not begin with a bad board but reset which does not take a life...Fun becomes frustration but no one forces us to play...We have to have done something right to get to level 425...

Anonymous said...

wouldnt it be nice it you could 'buy' out of this level (or any other difficult, pull your hair out frustrating level) for 99 cents???? It would be a win-win for both CC makers & players.... Hmmmmmmm....

Anonymous said...

So they take a level that was already very difficult and now reduce the bombs down to 9 counts. You spend all of your time trying to get rid of them, never mind making the necessary combinations and clearing the blues. I have only once defeated the first set of bombs.
I don't mind hard levels but this is one where you are going to need a lucky board rather than use skill.

Anonymous said...

How do you pass the bombs??! I'm all the time trying to get rid of them! :(

Anonymous said...

Now that is so frustrating, why oh why did they change it. Up until last week I'd get within a couple of combos of completing this maybe once in a batch of five games, I knew that if I stuck with it eventually the luck would go my way and I'd finish it. Since they changed it I've played over 50 games and maybe 1 in 10 I've got past the first bombs, I've never got to the end of the moves without a bomb going off and the most combos I've got is 2.

What's the point?

Anonymous said...

Thats it for me. Have enjoyed every hard level but the updated 425 has made a difficult one impossible! With bombs that you cant get to going off after 9 moves it is not even about skill any more..bye bye CC..
