Candy Crush Saga level 969

Tips and help for level 969 Candy Crush Saga
You need to collect 50 purple candies and 50 green candies in 40 moves.
The board is fairly unobstructed so moves shouldn't be too hard, but there are 6 colours on the board so much more difficult to make special candies and combos.
My advice would be to ignore the colours you need.
Keep the bombs under control and make special candies and combos, this will be enough to collect the colours you need well within the moves available.
To keep the bombs under control you can try playing on one side so that there are less to worry about.
If you concentrate on just collecting purple and green candies you may miss a bomb and that's game over.
Also concentrating on the colours you need clears them from the board and you then have to wait for more to fall, whereas clearing the board of as many candies as possible of ANY colour will cause more of the ones you need to fall.

Hated this level..very difficult for me & just managing the 9 move bombs always falling & hoping for lucky cascades I failed about 15 times & was just plain tired & not having any fun..On next try I needed a lollypop booster that I had from daily spins to get a bomb with count 1 to continue as I had been doing fairly well & created a color bomb earlier that helped get a lot of order. As game nearing end I had the 1 color order already & needed 6 more greens but had no real match available.I then saw my out & being so frustrated I just wanted done..I had collected tons of hand switchs & lollypops during sugar drop rewards & used a hand switch to set up a 3 candy match & now needed just 3 & had just 1 move....I used 3 hammers from my storage on each green & ended the fiasco..Hope its easier for you but it was a pain in my ass for sure...I hate when bombs just keep falling & you need a lot of luck manageing them...Be patient unlike myself.

Yes, this is tricky! Hate the bombs! Even my lucky candies aren't much help as they only provide one candy. Unlike anonymous above I wasn't lucky enough to win lots of useful boosters in the candy drop. I seem to get only gold bars and lucky candies! Yes, I need patience...............

Finding this level quite difficult. Keeping up with the bombs is close to impossible. I have found that if you're lucky enough to get through quite a few moves without the bombs counting down, the number of bombs dropping actually lessens. Haven't made it yet, still trying

I found that if you play down the middle, rather than the sides, you can better manage the bombs and I agree with Cookie the candies you need take care of themselves.

Two lollipop hammers to kill two bombs and one sprinkle. Done! I hate bombs as much as I do chocolate

Anonymous said...

I agree with Louise W playing rather than the middle rather than the sides helps as most of the bombs will drop there and there is more space to maneuver

I've tried at least 30 times and don't see how you can only work the middle. I always have to make at least one move that opens up one side as well as the middle and the bombs get me. Making a sprinkle booster hasn't worked because when using it the whole board opens up, so I get bombs from middle and both sides. Maybe if you can get far enough along in the game so that you can make a sprinkle it'll help, but I haven't gotten anywhere near for that to happen. :(

Very hard board, too many colors and bombs fuses are to short, bombs always seem to be the color that isn't anywhere near by. I have yet to ran out of moves, very seldom I get more than 20 moves before bomb goes off.
Working the middle doesn't work, ALWAYS forced to make a move on the outside and then I will have 10+ bombs on the board.
Just another board in a long line that requires a lucky board to move on.

Hard but finally got it, I had a colour bomb stripe combo set to go but I didn't use it straight away but waited until the bombs counted down, I also did the same with a wrap stripe. The key to this level is having ways to get rid of bombs, I don't think you will be able to take care of all of them with simple matches. AJ

After 4 hammers, 3 swaps and 5 extra moves I got past this level.

Managed to get a colour bomb near the beginning and got rid of orange which brought lots of green and purple to the board. Managed another colour bomb matched with a green stripe which got me all my greens. Just kept track of the bombs very carefully. Was down to needing one purple with the bomb count at 3. Was prepared to use a hammer, but made a stripe and set it off and it got my last one. Very difficult level. Was very lucky. Was getting quite frustrated. Good luck everyone. Hope your lucky board comes soon. Mine came on about the 10th try. The bombs always got me!

There is something seriously wrong when you can blow through 5 lives in less than a minute, multiple times. I hate this level!

Anonymous said...

Managed to complete without boosters. Worked the centre board but still got bombs at side. Took my time and watched each move to finish with 1 move left. Mm

Anonymous said...

I played this level the same way as Anonymous 11 June 21:34. I tried to work the middle and if I needed to I would work a side but always mindful of those bombs. Doing that allowed me to make some combinations that really helped bringing down the green and purple candy plus getting rid of the bombs. Very hard level....glad I'm moving on!

Wow you can't do anything except chase bombs in this level. I think it's worse than the timed levels. Not much planning involved. Just have to hope for a lucky board.

Hi all. Got this after struggling for a few games. I with most of you regarding the bombs and thank you anonymous for the advice to really try to work the center of the board which gives you better chance at cascades over the entire board and therefore specials being created.

Specials are definitely needed to keep the bombs under control.

Also good advice from Ms Cookie to not worry so much about the colors as much as containing the bombs and trying to create specials. The colors will come.

Good luck all.

I guess it's fair enough that it's so difficult. I've got this far at no cost, so if I were King I'd be playing a bit harder by now. What I d like some advice with is the Candy Drop. Every time I play a Candy Drop level I stall at the prize screen, and each time I pass a milestone, it tells me I've earned a reward, but I don't get one. Is it because I'm playing iPhone without Facebook?

Anonymous said...

The above problem was addressed on previous blog level. Someone was sharing how to contact King about this common problem. Check back a level or two.

Got this one after a few tries by following the tip to try to work mostly in the middle. Was able able to deal with bombs quickly. Used a hand switch to position a sprinkle ball next to a stripe and then another one to get two wraps together. Finished order with 9 moves left. JS

I hate hate hate this level!! Picked a special and reset the board till there were a couple good moves. After wasting a few hammers still could not win. Next used nothing and got down to 3 purple playing the middle again and used those precious gold bars with a purple stripe on the board! And there was no more purple to match. Yikes!!!!

what worked for me was making as many specials as possible, especially wraps, and causing cascades. I started with a check but I only got one and all it did was turn into a purple. I used 1 hand swap and 2 hammers to diffuse bombs. Here's the spot to use your free boosters. It's the only way

Anonymous said...

I have tried playing the sides and then just the middle. No luck. I am hating this level. There are too many bombs to try to keep up. Very frustrating.

Anonymous said...

Another level with a design that takes all the joy out of this game. No matter how skilled you have become, this one requires a lucky board to win. Or lots of those boosters that CC has been sending via the Sweet Drops matches and daily spins. Yawn Zzzzzz

Anonymous said...

Seriously!!! Are King just trying to make people quit!! This level is rubbish!!!

Bill. said...

Not that hard concentrate on combinations but you also need to watch the bombs. Took ten attempts.

Alrighty! 3 stars and 6 moves left after reading these tips! I did my best to work in the middle, but like its been said, its hard. I decided not to sweat that. I decided this would be a boring level and to just accumulate the sugar drops. I worked in the bottom middle as much as possible to form cascades, and didn't worry about the number of colors til the end. Finally I got down to needing only 6 purple. There was a blue strip on the far side of the board, in line with a purple on the other side of the board, and "bingo!". The best tips were to look for combos and forget the colors. They will work out.

Brittany Mitchem said...

Another terrible level. Cant even run out of moves cause the bombs are everywhere. When im doing great thats when there conveniently is no greens or purples. Have no special candys cause the previous levels were a pain in the butt too. Only get one sugar drop per turn if that and the wheel spin has given me nothing I can actaully use in a week. Grrrrr

Anonymous said...

Why in the world is this level only rated "somewhat hard" on the Wiki website?? This should be "insanely hard"!! After over 100 attemps not once have I had a complete game as the bombs got me every time! Rarely am I within 20 orders away from winning. 6 colors licorice 4 bombs at a time? Horrible level!!

Anonymous said...

No words here PLain and Utterly BOring

Anonymous said...

boring, boring level. Guess you just need that lucky board.

Anonymous said...

Not wasting anymore boosters on this level

Anonymous said...

Taking a much needed break. Using 5 lives within a few minutes is too frustrating.

Anonymous said...

You took a great amount of fun out of this game with this game, King.........just saying!

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush here.

Very hard level.

Totally forget what orders you need, you will pretty much get them automatically if you stay alive long enough.

The trouble here is bombs, don't ignore them, try to move them down the board fast so they will diffuse with a match along the way, but keep an eye out for them.
I've lost count of how many times I have gone out with one stuck down in a corner that I had forgotten about.

Anonymous said...

My first try, I got down to needing one color and ran out of moves. Now it's been harder than he'll to get anything. Blaa

Anonymous said...

Exactly, no words, cause they will be bad ones.

Anonymous said...

I hate bombs!!!!

Anonymous said...

Managed to get enough stripe/wrap combos to keep the bombs in check. Happy to be moving on!

Charlotte said...

Not as hard as people are making it out to be. Just stick to one area and keep on top of the bombs. There should be enough moves to get near to the amount of colours you need by the end.

I used two lollipops to kill a bomb and get the final green candy, after being blown up frequently!

very nasty little level...

omg hate this level no fun at all. Can't even get close with the stupid bombs please help me king.... cheers Katrina

I think this level is HARD! Trying all the tips, have tried using a few boosters - got down to one candy left and ran out of moves. A few times the game has stopped because a bomb was about to explode - except it WASN'T! I clearly had a move to clear it and plenty of moves left in the game. This has happened 3 times and it's really making me mad! LOL But I will keep plugging along and eventually I WILL pass this horrible level.

Played this for about a week now with no luck. Believe it or not, I'm enjoying this level.

I've been playing this level now for many days and I am so bored out of my brain. Just chasing bombs and never being able to keep up with them Boom! Another life gone! I tried all sorts of strategies, such as only playing in the middle so the bombs don't go all over the field. Nothing works - Within a couple of minutes all lives are being used up and off I go again.Doing more useful things than stupid CC. Grace.

Agree stupid no challenge just wait for luck . dumb

Ugghhh This is horrible. Guess I just have to wait for that lucky board. Booooooo!

Just plain nasty!!!!This game is losing its appeal big time. :(

I've tried passing this on Android mobile for a couple of days to no avail. There aren't many opportunities to work the bombs, and the bombs end the game frequently. As a matter of fact, I never made it all the way through without a bomb exploding. After switching to a PC today, I passed the level on the fourth try.

I worked the center of the board as suggested, and concentrated on keeping the bombs under control. The green and purple candies took care of themselves with the help of a striped/wrapped combo and a few striped combos. No boosters were used. This level is definitely much easier when played on a PC.

are you kidding????

I played in the centre as suggested too but unfortunately bombs still fell on either side. I played quite a few times believing I would never be successful on this game and that I would be here forever.
At first I used boosters too and still to no avail. So I decided just play without boosters and see how I got on. It was hard but I played slowly. This time I was lucky to keep on top of the bombs. Then I was down to 3 green and 8 Lavendar. I decided to use a hand switch to line up three Lavendar. Then use my last move to play three green and I was left with 4 Lavendar. I thought I will just have to give up and being so close too. But I had the option of using 9 of my gold bars for 5 extra moves. So I did. That did the trick.

It helps to get boosters by playing jumping candies on previous levels, this way you can build up your boosters, which certainly come in handy on games like this one.

Good luck everyone.

Anonymous said...

No longer care about playing! I give up.

Anonymous said...

Absolute crappy level!

Anonymous said...

Just wasting too many lives and boosters on this number. Really boring. Göing back to thé fun ones

How come when I close out of cc completely and then reopen to play a level that had a lot of candies to collect, it won't offer any... I've read from several peeps that they go back to a candy rich level to stock up...

Miiki said...

Use the gold bars to buy the hammers or bomb timer

Anonymous said...

First time I played only had 4 candies left. I had plenty of lollipops and switches. I thought, well this is not a hard level. Well....... little did I know now that I have played this for several days I should have used the and I would have been gone. (sob sob) Ok well maybe this will help me get my 2nd lucky board.
