Candy Crush Saga Level 1282

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1282 Candy Crush Saga
You won't have many moves to choose from at the start and you need to work your way down the board to clear the jelly.
Wrapped candies are the best specials for growing the popcorns as well as clearing jelly so look for wrap patterns whenever possible.
Using a colour bomb on a timer bomb will give big points, as will using it on a wrapped candy, so if you are looking for mega points these are the moves to go for.

So sick of this level I could scream!!!

The first time I played I ended up with one jelly left. If I'd known I'd gotten pretty lucky the first time I'd have gone ahead and used a hammer.

Actually kinda surprised there aren't more comments about this level, pretty frustrated with it, no room to work at all. Anyone??

Just posted above, tried a fish, no action. Then used all 3 boosters which helped open up the board a lot , still needed some luck mixed in there to clear the rest

Took seven tries. Got timed out by bombs twice and once got down to two jellies. That time I could have won if I'd thought to use a hand switch. I concentrated on clearing blockers and watched for making stripes or wraps lined up with popcorns. I ended up making an extra chocolate sprinkle that I matched with a stripe half way through. Then I was able to match one of the popcorn chocolates with another stripe at the end.
Finished on my last move, no boosters.

Passed on third try no boosters. Just was careful to set up combos. Passed on last move.

Finally used my sprinkle and stripe wrap. Couldn't get them to line up after many tries so just picked the best board where they would do the most damage and that did it

Reshuffle ... Reshuffle ... Reshuffle ... Reshuffle ... it's even reshuffling the reshuffled board! So few moves :-(

Really boring the first couple of tries so I threw all the boosters at it and the board opened up nicely. Was able to make lots of combos after that to clear the level.

So I have no idea how I completed this level...maybe the three glasses of wine helped?

Thank you Brian 11/13 @10.55 did as you did and threw all 3 boosters finished 1 2 3 !!

Thanks for the tip about using all three boosters. It worked the second time I did that, along with a switch hand to match a sprinkle/stripe. Boom bang, all done.

I'm having a hard time with this one. Don't want to pop the popcorn too early or the time bombs drop. It's a difficult balance. The times I have come closest have been when I was able to work into the middle area by busting up the side candies. Still at it!

1281 was fun but this one is so tedious again! Will try all 3 boosters and see what happens. Grace from DU

Agree very tedious. Need to get the popcorn but then the bombs real nuisance. Needed a hammer from the bonus wheel to clear the last jelly. Easier on the Pc combinations formed more readily.

Was getting so frustrated, so I used the three boosters at the beginning. Finished it the first try.

I found this level very difficult, won it using boosters just to get rid of it and then the screen disappeared and I have to play it OVER again and lost my candy drops too! I still am trying to win it AGAIN.

Really?!! I just beat this level after 2 days trying and it congratulated me on beating it and then took me right back to the same board. Not to mention that most of my combos I made exploded on their own and not giving me the chance to use them. King sucks!!!!

After reading the tips I decided to just play it anyway like I always do before I use boosters. To my surprise I was lucky and got it on first try with 12 moves left 3 stars. I was dreading it knowing the bombs could ruin it or invariably the combo's exploding by themselves. But I was lucky to get a wrap next to a sparkle, that pretty much did it with little to finish off.
I played slowly to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Good luck everybody

sheer luck...got a sprinkle next to a wrap. blew up board. had to use a hammer on the last jelly

This level can be defeated without boosters. Admittedly you need some luck getting things opened up. Took five tries. But even on one of the failures things were pretty much opened up. Just ran out of moves.
As long as the c-bomb doesn't fall or explode, you can pop the corn and not get an m-bomb. The dispensers are relentless. But the m-bombs give you 15 moves and can be useful in making combos.
I swapped a wrap with one of the uncovered c-bombs. That cleared everything except the middle popcorn. With less than 15 moves remaining, the new m-bombs were irrelevant. One more wrap liberated the last c-bomb. Two more swaps finished it.
Full disclosure: I was probably playing a little more recklessly than usual. I had two hours of lives and didn't really care if I got plohed up.
