Candy Crush Saga Level 1378

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1378 Candy Crush Saga without boosters
Level 1378 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
Ideally you want to uncover the colour bomb without getting a shuffle, but this is quite a challenge!
If you can manage to get to the colour bomb you can switch it with either green or blue and that should get rid of all the bombs in one go.
If, like me, you can't avoid the board shuffling you still should be able to get most of the bombs with the colour bomb and the rest by matching later. Luckily the bombs have a reasonably long countdown.
Once the bombs are taken care of you should try to make colourbombs as these will get to the jelly easiest. Switch a colourbomb with a stripe or wrap for the best effect.
Stripe/wrap combos are also good.

  1. Totally boring and dependent only on luck, so on third try gladly used all three boosters to be done.

  2. Really??? Another BS level. Tried once no boosters, could see that's NEVER gonna fly. Used chocolate booster got rid of 1 color of bombs. Uncovered center chocolate ball used that on the rest of the bombs. Still in the end had to hammer 1 jelly. Ridiculous !!!

  3. Wow. Good, no, super job Mis Cookie!
I tried and tried. But failed. So had to start with all the boosters to finally finished the level. Notice I said finished the level and not Beat the level. If I had to use all the boosters to clear the level, I don't consider it beaten. But you are such a super player! My hats off to you:)

  4. Got this first try. My bombs were arranged so that I could just make matches up the side to get rid of them. After that it was easy. I must have gotten a lucky board. Only one star but I'm ok with that. Good luck everyone!

  5. No luck without boosters - just frustrating useless moves watching the bombs ticking down, so I tried a sprinkle which was also useless as it only matched with a red! The next try I threw all three boosters in and that did the trick with 15 moves to go.

  6. Another s**t bomb round, what the hell is the point of giving us 35 moves when really it's only 15. I hate these levels has you mostly get nowhere, and you just go through the motions till a good board (lucky) bomb games are no fun as you normally get all 5 go's at the game over in as many minutes. Totally boring.

  7. After reading the comments threw all 3 boosters at this one and passed first try 3 stars. I think the first try on a board is generally the easiest so went ahead and took the chance and it paid off. LA

  8. The 'switching' totally helps you to get the bombs, the sprinkle candy will clear the majority colour of bombs if you can match correctly. Had bombs gone at 24 moves left on my 4th try, all gravy after that. Not sure if I was lucky or not but did enjoy this quick level.

  9. Second attempt. Concentrate on the top layer of bricks to release the chocolate bomb. Then I had another chocolate bomb to clear the last piece of jelly.

  10. "Luckily the bombs have a reasonably long countdown" Really?? Bollocks! Crap level. And how many times does MsCookieKirby play before she actually gets the one that goes up for eveyone to see?

  11. There's only jelly on the 2 sides where the bombs are. There's none under the cream blockers, as I just discovered. This would have been a very helpful hint from Ms Cookie Kirby as I wouldn't waste so much time on the centre section.

  12. Level really sucks. Am quitting for awhile because I feel like CC is making a fool out of me for wasting so much time.

  13. Kept restarting board to get a sprinkle next to a Blue or green wrap. Whew! Glad to be done with this level.

  14. What is it with level taking two extra lives from my bank instead of just one??? Had 19 and clicked on one extra life and it took me down to 17. Each time it does that and it's pissing me off. Is there some sort of way to complain to King? This is the first level this has done this to me.

  15. Really? Effing bombs!! How the f are you supposed too get to the sprinkle before the bombs go off?!!!!! You know where you can go king?!!!!

  16. Another day and counting! This just erks me to no end!

  17. If you get to the chocolate ball, who are you kidding? You can only clear one color with it.

  18. This has got to be one of the stupidest most boring levels ever. At least it doesn't take much time to go through 5 lives. Switch, shuffle, useless switch, useless switch - repeat. Oh look, bombs are at zero.

  19. Any level that constantly is reshuffling is insulting and a poorly designed level. Cheering for a reshuffle is not strategy and takes no ability, but that's what I did over and over on this level. I finally threw in a fish and used a couple of hammers to end the misery. As a side note, after never hitting a jackpot in more than two years, I had two in one week.

  21. Not sure if they changed it but the only jellies are on the two sides and there are only two colors in them, blue and green. So I used a chocolate sprinkle and matched with green jelly and all the green bombs disappeared leaving a row of blue which turned into a stripe. After that I worked on uncovering the choc. bomb and just as I did another fell on top of it and game over.

  22. Used a color bomb booster and a fish booster. Reset board until it was by a blue or green. Took the bombs out on first move. Fish took care of the rest after that

  23. I thought, after reading the comments, that I would be stuck here for a while, but I must have got the Lucky Board on the first try.
The only jellies are on the two sides (green and blue only). Uncle Mort gave me a Colour Bomb to start. I matched it with blue. The greens turned into a stripe. I was able to make matches on the sides and then uncover the Colour Bomb in the middle. I matched it with the remaining colour needed to clear the board. Had 15 moves left and earned 3 Stars. Good luck to all.
