Candy Crush Saga Level 1700

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1700 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1700 Candy Crush Saga is a double task level, you need to clear the jelly and collect 3 cherries, which are already on the board.
You can expect to lose quite a few moves before you get the lucky board. I don't really believe in the so called lucky board, but for level 1700 you really do need it.
The jelly is all under the popcorns, so they have to be cleared to get to the jelly.
You need a bit of luck as well as patience to clear this level as the moves are very restricted at the start. I have played games where I have used most of the moves without being able to clear even one popcorn!
First you need to make stripes or wraps to start to grow the popcorn. You don't have many moves to spare so look carefully to make sure you don't miss any good moves. It doesn't really matter which way the stripes go to begin with, take whatever you can get!
By far the best combo would be a colour bomb/wrap if you can get it, as the wraps will go a long way to clearing the popcorns.
Once you begin to get colour bombs from the popcorns, switch two together to grow more. Keep switching the colour bombs together whenever possible as this is the quickest way (apart from colour bomb/wrap combos) to grow the rest of the popcorns.

Easy level... first try. Now waiting for more levels. FM

I thought this last one would be super hard - I must have
had a lucky board - first try! Hope they hurry & make more! (Well, maybe not - I don't want to spend my whole summer playing CC!!! :)

I must be doing something wrong. I'm lucky if I clear one popcorn. 28 popcorns seems impossible. I'll have to wait until I accumulate 30-40 lollipops to get through this one.

1700 is indeed a lucky board. I got the colour bomb - wrap combo, and from there it was one big cascade.

Anyone pass 1706? It seems impossible. I have been on it for two days now and can't get anywhere.

Tony said...

Wait till you get to 1710 impossible level.

First two Anonymouses and Brux: don't brag. When even Cookie admits luck is needed, it's really needed.

It is easy IF you get a lucky board. I got so tired of playing game after game where all I did was make match 3's, I finally broke down and used the chocolate ball and stripe/wrap booster. Had to do a hand switch to move the wrap next to the chocolate ball, but then the game just played itself.

Easy board? In my opinion, possibly the toughest board of all, because there is no skill involved. 100% luck.

Update to the previous comment: Just finished the board with 16 moves left. Stupidly easy when it gives you a lucky board. Big deal. Someone on Level 3 could have done the same thing.

If you don't want to wait for that lucky board just start off with the color bomb and wrapped candy boosters. .Reset until they are side by side and that should do it. Finished with 36 moves left after about 10 tries with very little success

Trying for two days. Then got "lucky board". Got color bomb and a wrap two spaces below. Used hammer to move wrap under bomb. This created "explosion". Two moves of color bomb color bomb combos finished it. 26 moves left.

I'm with those who are tired of boards where no skill is involved, and after several tries, opted for the same adhacent choc ball/wrap combo as others. I hope some found this episode more fun than I did. Would that the next has more levels involving strategy, and fewer tedious ones relying just on that lucky board.

This last episode I completed in a day & likewise for the previous episode. I expected it would be a bit more challenging. I guess I can just use the time to collect more sugar drops whilst waiting for the next episode. Yvonne.

The only good thing about this episode was this last level. Finished it on my 3rd try, no boosters and three stars. Not really liking these new combined levels. After struggling to get through level 1691 and sending King an email and getting a generic response I see that today they have totally removed the evil spawners. Til next Wednesday. Sharon

I agree with Cat. Used a sprinkle/wrap booster and reset till they were next to each other. I found the previous episode more fun. This one was tedious plus the usual glitches we've almost come to expect.

Anonymous said...

Beyond boring.......lucky board please hurry up.......yawn......

Mar Mak said...

Use boosters and reset until a sprinkle and wrapped are side by side then easy. Took me about 20mins of resets though!

Does anyone know of a really good Sugar Drop level more recent than level 1476?

Anonymous said...

Level 1168 has a decent amount of sugar drops. I usually take note of the levels that provide the most sugar drops for future reference. Yvonne

How do you reset without losing the booster?

Finally got the "lucky board" - turned out to be not so "lucky" - game did its usual trick of 'dying' on the iPad as it finished and I immediately thought I'd have to do the level all over - when I restarted the app I had passed the level BUT lost the remaining six hours from my treasure chest plus every single booster I had stored up (over 100 different ones!) I didn't lose any of the lives I've been sent but would rather have kept the boosters. Is there a limit to the number of boosters we can store? Anyone know?

Help! I usually get extra games for boosters (3 step). Got notice for one but didn't get it. Did I the rest of you get one? Like to play these while waiting for new level.

Same here.

Colour-bomb + Wrap booster combo. Nothing else works. If you're not close to that with ten moves to go, abandon and start again

Michael Rizzo said...

Dumbest comment ever...You can expect to lose quite a few moves before you get the lucky board. I don't really believe in the so called lucky board, but for level 1700 you really do need it.

Anonymous said...

I lost all my boosters too. I contacted King and they replaced with 10 of each booster, which was a lot less than I had, but at least it was something.

Anonymous said...

Must have got lucky first time, although I didn't think so for the first dozen or so moves, which were mostly match 3s, the only move each time. Then I got a couple of wraps, opened up 2 sprinkles next to each other, and again, and again, and then I was done, with 17 moves remaining.

This is a stalling board. The next levels aren't ready on mobile yet, so they make this level virtually impossible. They even cheat: My fish didn't touch a single jelly, and how convenient, my coconut wheel showed up in a place where it could only unroll one striped candy.
Once the next levels are unlocked on mobile, you'll notice a huge difference in the difficulty level for this one.
Suddenly lucky boards will be much more frequent.

After reading the comments I decided to use 1 of all my available boosters. I play on my iPad so the next thing I did was keep resetting the game until I had a sprinkle ball next to a wrapped candy because this would cause the most damage to the popcorn. Once that happened I was able to keep hitting 2 sprinkle balls together and clearing everything. Completed this on my first try!

OK struggled a few rounds....then....
Mixes a wrap with a sprinkle.
Love that move...2 switch hands and 35 moves left....candy crush.
Try it...

I'm finding that I'm less of a CC junkie than I once was, due to these episodes that consistently require use of boosters, rather than strategy.

Looking around for a new game to hold my interest.

Got it on second try using a coconut wheel. They kept coming and make it easy. I also got the creepy "Divine" in the sugar crush! Some say it sounds like Stewie from Family Guy. I thought it sounded more like Montgomery Burns from the Simpsons.

Yes hard to get a start but if u get one colour bomb alone use it to eliminate a Color. Will help. I then struck two together and the wrap on one. It went crazy done!!only took a few tries. Was a long fun cascade to end it

Catgirl said...

I have no free boosters left as I've used them all up on the crazy difficult levels in this chapter! The last level classed as 'hard' I got first time.. How is this not classified as a hard level too. The whole boring has been so very boring imo.. Humpf,

Thank you so much for this site! Stuck for days until I read about the colour bomb wrapped combination. Had to use a hand swap to get the two together after countless resets, but then done with thirty three goes left! Fantastic advice!

Ms Cookie says "I don't really believe in the so called lucky board" then goes onto to say "but for level 1700 you really do need it"!!!!
Then "You need a bit of luck as well as patience".

Which seems to mean that Ms Cookie DOES believe in the so called lucky board! 😉

Anonymous said...

Wow, first try and 1.5 million points. What a refreshingly fun level.

LynnR said...

This was not an easy level for me. However, it was much easier on the PC and I finally passed it without boosters.

Anonymous said...

You know people, you don't actually have to respond to what someone else says. If their comment annoys you, just ignore it. Really, it's easy.

Anonymous said...

The color bomb/wrap combination is the only way to finish this level. It worked like magic. Just keep trying to get it, don't lose hope ;)

Anonymous said...

Has Ms Cookie stopped doing videos. Nothing past level 1700. Maybe she got sick of the nasty comments.

Lucky board level, blew through half my boosters and just played on my own. ONCE again save your boosters and wait!

Coconut wheel helps grow the popcorn some. Use them if you have them.

I'm so bored its one stupid move to another with out doing anything please give me a board I can at least play plz

richard e G said...

Any player who said, this level was easy and made it on the first try while not saying how they did it, is full of crap! Most likely they used tons of boosters!

Anonymous said...

This level is labeled hard with 30 moves. How do they expect it to be done with 20 moves on my iPad, iPhone or desktop. No where do I get 30 moves. So unfair. I guess I have to wait for a very lucky board or call this game quits.

Anonymous said...

Took me ages to complete, but just had my lucky board, finished with 26 moves left and had 2,240,000 points!!!!

Anonymous said...

Easy level if you start with colour bomb and wrapped candy switch otherwise impossible

junebug119 said...

Fun level...match two color bombs and just watch it take off on its own!

Anonymous said...

Another boring one. Need luck.

Anonymous said...

So just moving candies around, getting no where. Another f'ed up level.

Anonymous said...

Where's my coconut wheel I just got on the daily spin? I should have at least three of them built up now and I don't get the option to use them!!!! Stop ripping me off!!

Anonymous said...

I've been stuck on here for a week now!!! This may not be a HARD LEVEL but it isn't easy either!!! I'm getting so sick of being ripped off by king.com!!! Wtf?!?!

Anonymous said...

And now they are ripping me off of my sugar drops when I run out of moves just to get me to purchase boosters!!! Bite me. Mf!!!!!!!!
