Candy Crush Saga Level 2001 tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2001 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The task is fairly straightforward to pass level 2001... Grow the popcorn and use the colour bomb in 20 moves.
Clear some blockers to give yourself room to make combos, then look for wrapped candies as these will give you two hits on the popcorn if you switch them close by, or switch with a stripe.
The only hard thing about level 2001 is the shortage of moves, but you don't need many to grow and use the popcorn, so don't give up if you are getting low on moves by the time you have cleared the blockers.

Ok, why is no one posting on this level. Again, didn't check off my choco ball and now it says I need 2! I have only played 3 times and now it has changed from 1 choco ball to 2????? And what is with the message about loosing orange candies if you quit? A way to make us buy things or moves??? I guess I should have stopped at level 2000 as I had planned!

Had to delete previous comment to edit it...Got choco balls, at that time needed just 1, and it wasn't marking it off for some reason. Then on game 3, it was changed to 2 needed...Why? Then got meringue and did the same thing! What's going on with King this morning? Tweeting level 2001 already? And still don't know about the new message about losing orange candies! Did everyone quit on 2000??? No comments other than mine, lol

On Android you need 2 chocco balls plus one popcorn. If you're struggling then a tick booster (check) is the way to go.

I have almost 400 tick boosters from playing the sugar drop levels, but I've played three times now I only get one booster each game. The last time that gave me a popcorn which just blocks the board. In sure I'll get this eventually, but I think I'll probably resort
T to using the other boosters too just to get this over with. Just not enough moves.

Is anyone else having a problem with the game crashing (same with Soda Crush)? I use my Iphone to play. Today was my very unlucky day. I lost ALL of my MANY boosters. This happened twice before in the 3 years I've been playing. I tried contacting KingCare and they're a waste of space. My playing days are likely over...can't stand the thought of having to play many rounds of sugar drops to pass these levels.

Maybe I was just lucky then, I got 2 ticks near the start that turned into chocco balls, then the next tick I didn't explode until it was on the conveyor - that way as soon as you match it, it becomes a popcorn and explodes itself in one go. I still had at least 10 moves left.

The PC has total of 158 (!!!) more moves in this episode than Android.

I am playing only on Android (All 2015 levels), so, I am not playing the same game as PC players, and did much harder way to reach this far.

I feel deceived.

I also lost all my myriad boosters carefully stored up over the years. Very unlikely that this is a rare coincidence. I stopped serious playing at level 2000 and from the comments I can see, not a moment too soon.

Thanks to Anonymous 5th Oct 15.36. Used the tick booster and when it turned into a chic ball I didn't use it. Next tick also turned into choc ball and the two were next to each other. Used them together and the game was completed! JG

The check booster caused more problems than it did good. I ended up with for popcorns and no room to build stripes. Took I few extra tries, but I did it without boosters.

I actually thought it was one popcorn and one colour bomb initially. Then I got back and it says 2. I deleted my comment as I thought there was a glitch as I grew the popcorn and used the colour bomb only to fail. Ummm there is def a glitch

well, I came to this level a little beaten up after the past few levels, but it was a breeze. Actually fun as all I had to do was pay attention. No boosters, and four games in, got a board that looked blah - until the last 5 moves when I got all the requirements. It's nice when you can actually make progress and enjoy the game. I played it on my PC, BTW.

Glad not to have to use boosters as I lost all my boosters on Android (how I usually play). Game froze for two days and wouldn't play, so I did a re-install and lost everything. I've never collected boosters on my PC since I play so little there.
