Hints and
tips showing how to pass level 201 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The first thing to do is break the blockers to get to the colourbombs. Once they are uncovered use them on a colour that has most candies in the jelly, or if you can switch them with a stripe or a wrap better still as this will clear more of the jelly and blockers. All the jelly is double layered and you will need to work your way through the blockers on the left, right and bottom to have a chance of passing. Slow down and think about every move and concentrate on making stripes, wraps and colourbombs as much as possible.
If the
level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have
changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know
on our FB group and I will
try to change it.

No comments on this level!? Am I the only person who found 201 almost impossible? I must've played it several hundred times and it made me pull my hair out! Definitely a King money-spinner - I got nowhere near completion for aaaaages, then had a spate of those "You're almost there! Maybe five more moves might just do it!" rounds, and then finally lucked out through no real skill of my own. What did it for me was getting two colour bombs side by side. Apart from getting me ahead in general, this cleared up ALL the jelly in the two small areas at the bottom of the board, which is where I struggled. Then it was a case of combining the other colour bombs with striped candies to do a lot of the hard work for me. After all that, i was still left with one jelly on my final move and no way to attack it. I made my move as close as i could and - hallelujah! - was saved by the appearance of a row of three red jellybeans! It was as if King was saying "You poor fool! You've suffered enough!"
I got really close the first few times & said, no way am I paying for more moves. Well, they fooled me, I have not gotten that close in about 20 more tries. Sigh..., but I don't hate this level like some with the bombs & the chocolate spilling out, so I will just plug on.
I have also been on this level forever.. Every time I get close, I don't have any moves. I like a challenge, but sometimes it can be so frustrating. I think you should be able to use extra moves during the game and no just at the beginning. That would have helped me alot. I refuse to pay for moves. Wish me luck, I'm going back in.....bye for now...
After 183 and a couple of later ones got me, I looked at this one and assumed it wasn't that bad ............. it's horrendous - been one off just once and forgot I had a lollipop hammer!!! Now feel I'm destined to be on this level forever - worse problem for me seems to be trying to break through the candy at the bottom of the big section (where one of the spotty balls lives) - can't make combinations down there for some unknown reason - want to know if there's a knack to this one or not because hardly anything on internet about it and I'm surprised coz it's soooo awful!
This level has stumped me. I've been so close too many times. I play on three devices. But like a previous player said, at least there's no color bombs or growing chocolate. It's the only time in my life that I don't want chocolate!
I agree. I really dislike the bombs and the chocolate also takes away from the fun. I like a level that takes some time to play, even if it is difficult.
I can't seem to purchase this Level (201). I was able to purchase all other episode but now all it states is "fail to purchase". I bought a song just to see if it was my iTunes account and was able to buy a song. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any advise to for me to try? Thank you!
I must say, I enjoyed this video. It didn't start out with a perfect board, and I feel as if I learned a bit of skill. Ive played this lvl maybe 15 times, but I don't mind losing because it is fun to truely plot out my moves without chasing bombs and chocolate.
I gotta say, it wasn't easy, but the good ones never are! The good thing is, no freaking chocolate and no bombs! It's not the hardest level we've had to do, but it was one of the more challenging ones! I really enjoyed it. I played about 10 lives. Be strategic! I'll play 100 lives before I'll spend money! It's a game people! Enjoy it!
Stuck on this level the longest so far. Been here for a week tomorrow. I've had a few "I think I want to throw my phone" moments--but I see people ahead of me so I know it's passable. So every break and lunch it's......just keep swimming swimming swimming.....
I've been stuck on this level for over a month now. For the first few weeks I played up to 20 times per day trying to solve it but now that I've resigned myself to the fact that it will just be blind luck if/when I ever pass this level, I might try 5 times a day now. Really has zapped the enjoyment for this game from me. Frustrating to see other people move pass me on this level, but I am confident they are "buying" their way pass and I refuse to spend any money.
Just passed in 6 tries. Used a little strategy, a whole LOT of luck and NO purchases (I refuse to spend money on ANY game, as well). I have been stuck on other levels way longer than some folks...just watched as they passed me on by. In my opinion...the key ingredient to this game is L U C K. I get aggravated with this game to put my head through a wall....yet...I keep coming back....
I have been stuck on this level for over 2 weeks - I am sick and tired of it - I am not a quitter, but I am seriously considering to get my life back as I knew it before Candy Crush Saga
♥ I agree. This level is very teasing. I kept having 1 or 2 left. I was tempted to use a hammer but it's just a matter of time and luck. Finally got it after many many lives. What a relief!
I think there should be some way to pass a level if you just cant solve it after a certain amount of time. It is no fun if you cant move on after a while.
Finally passed this level after being stuck on it for 6 weeks. And it was all luck. After doing this level oh...100 times, a person has some idea how to solve it...then it is just a matter of getting lucky so that your final moves are lined up to clear up just a few jelly squares.
Like all the other levels luck is a big part of it, but I believe this one needs alot of strategy, too. I wasn't too lucky getting a choc. ball mixed with stripes, but I did use them to knock out the jellies in the bottom with like colors.
It is weird that there are 50 moves and the design of this level is straight forward but it is hard to achieve. After a number of trial with observation, I have some conclusion and see if anyone agree or disagree with it.
Unlike the previous levels, I found that the candy it generated in this level is not 100% random. It always brings you to the situation that there is not much option to move. It becomes more smooth when the number of moves left is around 5. It is always the case that you can more easy to generate function candies but you got few moves left.
I start thinking the designer of this game control the generated candies and also think that it is the game who play us, not we play the game.
Anyway, I do think this level is not impossible because I have several attempts that I got 1 or 2 jelly left. quite close to finish. but I start losing interests on it because I wrongly think at the very beginning that this game require skill + luck while my observation tells me that the "luck" can actually be controlled by designer, not by random.
Finally got it in about 40 times with 14 moves left. It is 100% by luck. What I did was: - strip + bomb (maximize the number of target candy before trigger the bomb) - strip + wrapped twice - 4 individual bombs
I start thinking the game is not fun and feel to quit as the so-called difficulties means luck.
This level was not that hard!! I got it out after 4 attempts. I decided to use the bombs to clear a colour that was in the bottom corners, (as you know a bomb against a color if you haven't got a stipe candy to hit will just clear the color..and rather than waste moves to connect special combos, I have tried this successfully and got me out of trouble on many levels), at the same time it alleviates that same colour, making it simpler to get stripes and wrapped candy..considering you have all got this far think about it..it's not all luck..you have to 'create' your moves, and if you happen to get luck great. Hope my advice helps some.
It's not that hard..i can't believe the comments..come on..think about it., use the combos wisely and take out the bottom corners with the coloured bomb..hit one of the colors in there and use lots of striped and wrapped candy
On my PC, I had problems with this one (even using color bombs for corners and color bombs X stripes, but I switched to my ipad and the combos candies consistently fell into place for more stripes, color bombs, etc, with the ipad. I finished in about 5 tries with the ipad. Unfortunately, everyone doesn't have an ipad!!
This level is definitely IMPOSSIBLE! End of! In over 10 minutes yesterday must of used 20 lives trying to do it, I just give up with this sodding game!!
I have been left with 1 jelly 11 times on this level out of what must be 100 attempts. Even 3 jazzies (colour bombs) with stripies were not enough. Had 1 jelly left and 9 moves but no moves at all near the jelly!!
Finally passed this horrible level after a week on the pc + Nexus (which is where I passed). No real tips other than those above - very much a matter of luck.

I finally finished level 201 today, after about 5 days and it seems like hundred of lives. 202 is a hair puller too. Good Luck!
This level is almost imposible. I played it many times and finished it with a lot of luck.
I'm just waiting for my lucky day, too. I even had 2 color bombs but they didn't clear enough jellies. Well, back at it!

Oh, great! Just what I needed to hear! LOL!

Completed with the help of fish from the bonus wheel. Pity you only get one spin per day.

Totally frustrated. Been living on 201 for almost 2 months now. So aggravated I can't even think enough to post specifics!!!!! Grrrrrrr.
