Crusty's tips for level 226

Lvl 226 Clear all the jelly, I tend to work from the bottom on most levels as a general rule because some of the top drops down as well.
Check first for any comb's you can make. Then starting on some power combo's such as colourbomb/striped or 2 stripped etc.
You have plenty of moves, so take your time & plan your moves.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know on our FB group and I will try to change it.

WTF is going on in their heads when they create a level that you can pretty much take a quick look over and know if your going to lose right off the bat?

These people are King.com are nothing but a bunch of effin retards

Um.. I beat this easily. Don't trash a game or the creators because you suck at it..

Some levels are more fun and some levels seem hopeless at times and those get old real fast when you see you are making moves that you can see aren't getting you anywhere anyway. I enjoy the game, and am also very frustrated with the game at times. I do think people shouldn't have to spend WEEKS on a single level, that's a bit too much torture, no? I'd like to keep it at the "fun" level and not frustrating. Anyway, it's really a matter of whether you get the lucky moves or not.... it's a simple game so I don't think anyone really "sucks" at it, they just didn't get the lucky hand you did. I've spent days stuck on levels that friends zipped right through somehow!

I'm stuck. I never get a board like the one in the video... no good moves!

♥ Took me maybe 7 lives. Got it after getting color ball + Striped twice to clear most of the board leaving me with 4 to work with individually.

As per last post., i too got it with a color and stripe..lucky it was green and I had loads of green, managed to get 2 more choc balls..not with a stripe, but kept them to eliminate those niggly couple of candy at the very end...it's not an impossible level truly..and to the whiners..u got this far an there were levels much much harder..think about it!!

Some levels are fun
Some are persevere levels (226)
And some are hard
That combination makes the saga challenging and fun

To the people who just say they beat the level and for others to stop whining: how about some tips for how you beat the level so 'easily'? That's what most of us come here for, right??

The game decides when you should win a level most of the time although skill can help sometimes. How many times do you run out of moves but it keeps on racking up points and you find you have won?

It's a game people! It's supposed to be a challenge and that it is.

I always use this page for tips in case I'm missing the point but am disappointed with these comments! Non the wiser really, will have to try a different site.

This level was challenging but certainly not impossible, I was stuck for several days, maybe 50+ lives or so, I beat it with the help of 3 + moves from a friend. I was coming close many times, with only 3-6 jellies left;

I concentrated on getting the 2 hidden stripes on the corners to open up the end rows, then working to get stripes to open the middle rows. You can not beat the level unless you open every row!

One tip that seemed to help is to study the board every turn to see what you can use to take out the most jellies in one turn. Also watch for those black licorice, they stop the stripes from wiping out a whole row. Also on some levels it is wise to work from the bottom to use the cascades, but in my case I found it helpful to work from top to bottom, and side to side at one time, if that makes sense.

In beating the level I did not use any booster, just the 3+ moves.

Completed with the help of the daily booster giving a free bomb then two other bombs.

Same here, Bill. Completed with a free bomb, then I think it was just luck, several more bombs just fell. Was stuck here for about a week

ah Candy Crush the game we all hate to love and love to hate

I really enjoy Candy Crush. I stayed on one level two months, but never more than a couple of weeks since then. Sometimes I get through 3-4 levels in a day and that is exciting. This game is challenging and it isn't all just luck - the way you move the candies has a lot to do with it. If it is not a timed game then you can take your time and plan your moves. This game teaches you patience if you don't let it get the best of you. It is a great activity for the mind.

Sometimes when I unlock the striped candies at the bottom and activate them, they don't break the locked candy at the top. It just shoots right through it. Can anyone explain that?
