Hints and tips for level 471 Candy Crush
The main priority is to get the bombs before they explode, but at the same time clearing cream and dropping the ingredients down.
the bombs count down from 15 so a reasonable amount of time to work on them, but not many moves to get 4 ingredients down so lots to think about and combos are the answer as usual.

Maybe I am the only one who had trouble with this level. It's hard enough to kill the four 15 moves time bombs already, and after that you need to bring 4 fruits down in 10 moves.
I made one late last night, but then I found my internet was disconnected and I was still stuck!
I finally beat it this morning the second time and it is much easier. I guess I had really bad luck yesterday on this level.
If when Cookie completed this, there was 20 moves for the bombs, well it was a lot easier as there are only 15 now!!!!
Don't know who posted the hints and tips, but if you watch the video, you will see that the bombs start at 15.
Try to create color bombs to remove the bombs within the first 15 moves , if it's not possible try making stripe/wrapped combo .It's better if the combo would be at the center to bring the ingredient down faster. Made it in 5 tries. Sorry for my bad English .
This level seems ridiculously hard for a start of stage level, I've attempted countless times now over the last few days and not yet succeeded! Most attempts I can't even get rid of the bombs in time, but on the odd occasion I have got the bombs I have nowhere near enough moves left to get all the ingredients down! :-(
I've tried this level a few times and got taken out by the bombs the first few times. On my last try, I cleared the bombs and then all of the fruit bar one. The last of the fruit failed to appear for another four moves after the previous three had been cleared, which left me only two moves to clear it. Needless to say that didn't happen and I'm now waiting for lives to reload.
If you noticed in the video they had two fruits down BEFORE the bombs go off. Also they had a lot of lucky moves in my opinion. I have had not so much luck with this level.
I think it's easier to ignore the bombs and concentrate on getting the fruit down. Wraps open it up and Stripes will clear a path and take an ingredient down in one move. Sometimes 2 go down with one vertical stripe. When I adopted that strategy I beat it easily. Only 1 star but I don't care about that.
This game has gotten ridiculous. This level is almost impossible, I cleared the bombs within the first few moves and kept clearing the board yet the final two cherries didn't appear until I had one move left. I have finally decided to uninstall and stop playing.
Don't know when you played this level, but bombs only have a 15 count now. Incredibly frustrating!
Need chocolate bomb plus stripe to get the bombs then combinations to bring fruit down. Not many moves available.
I clear the bombs but never have enough time to get all the ingredients down! I think they need to add a little more time!!
Gees this level is a stinker! Only managed to explode the bombs once!
Not sure if this is easier but it worked for me. When I tried to clear the top 2 time bombs, I had difficulty getting to the bottom ones. I then tried clearing the bottom ones first and that made it much easier to get the top 2 time bombs. After that, the board was open for creating stripe/wrapped combos.
I lucked out on my 2nd try and got a sprinkled candy and a stripe which demolished almost all the bombs. I was THRILLED! Then I was able to clear the board and got two cherries down with moves to spare but there were no nuts!! Not ONE on the board. It took me FIVE more moves before one even came down and that was the last move! What a piece of crap this level is.
I'm going crazy with this level. I read all of your comments but still can't do it. When I do i'll tell you how I did it. Thanks for your comment bloggers.
Agree with an earlier poster. The key is to clear the cream as much and as quickly as possible to open up the area for combos - need to have this done in about ten moves. Then attack the remaining bombs. I found I often had about twelve moves left to get the four cherries/nuts down. Finally got all four down on a board which was completely cream free.
Again, you need a lucky first board to manage this level. First of all you really have to be lucky to get a colour bomb to clear the 4 bombs (don't forget, you need 2 times to get rid of these bombs!!!!). After that, you need to focus on wrapped/sripe combos, in the middle. The issue is that you don't have enough moves, so you need a lot of luck (again...).
Finally cleared it after 15 times with a Lucky board and at least 6 color bombs. When the cream is out of the board, you can make 3-4 stripes / wrapped or colour boms with every move, but you really need to focus on the combination wrapped/stripe (in the middle), or colour/stripe.
Luckily this level doesn't take you 10 minutes ending up with no result: it's just a maximum of 2-3 minutes after you failed-:)
Good luck from the Netherlands!
Same old story repeating.....unless you get a lucky board you are screwed. Sorry CC but this is getting pretty boring!!!
Really luck of board here. Thought I would be stuck on this forever, but got it after about 20 or 30 tries. Only broke bombs about 4 x during these. Got bombs on last second, got 1st fruit down with regular moves, second with speckled and stripe combo, and broke last 2 cherries in six moves, first due to vertical stripe, then got 2 speckled right beside each other, by luck, for last fruit in last move. Still only got 1 star. Don't know how you get more than that. On ipad.
Btw, had used two of my gifted speckled candies in two games to try and start off quickly to get bombs, and that never worked, so would wait for lucky board instead of wasting them as I did. But who knows, might work for you. Also, think moves thru really carefully here, and then you still need luck of the drops.
The best strategy is to concentrate on making combos and ignore the bombs, striped and wrapped or color bomb combos. The combos will take care of the bombs. Once the first fruit is cleared, the remaining fruit will come quickly, one after the other.
Not too hard got it on the 3rd try with 8 moves to spare. Lucky I guess. Just go slow and look for the best combo's to make
For this level you have to ignore the cream and completely focus on making combos, because with the combos, cream will be destroyed. If no combos can be made, then destroy cream to make more space. With the help of multiple combos, i did this level with 5 moves to spare.
You're kidding me.. right? with this level. from what I can see its impossible. I've played it so many times I'm starting to fall asleep while I'm playing it.
Beat this one on the first try. Lots if combos to get rid of the bombs and this vertical stripes in the center to drop the fruit. Just got lucky...
After completing 470 levels I have to say this level is just spiteful, vindictive and cruel. As others have noticed, only 15 moves to take out the 4 bombs located at different locations... No skill required, just luck and patience, as the game designers have made this level a truly frustrating one...
Wow this level is almost impossible, chances of clearing 4 bombs in 15 moves is difficult enough, but then the fruits do appear with enough time to drop them down...
Had two chocolate bombs side by side, exploded them and still did not clear the bombs.... OMG so difficult, too frustrating for me. King loses another gamer, would never trial or promote any of their other games after the general frustration of candy crush's 400 levels. I agreed with others, the earlier levels were fun and skill based, now it's just waiting around for a really lucky board, little skill involved...
I found playing this on Facebook was easier than playing on my phone. Nine tries on the phone, and I was not even close and did not get all the bombs even once. However, on the first try on Facebook, if I had one more move, I would have cleared the level. On the second try on Facebook, I got the level, using only one sparkly against a regular candy and one wrapped/striped combo, but I was able to get horizontal-blasting candies in the rows with the bombs, and that helped take them out. A vertical-firing stripe in the centre column dropped the last acorn with four moves left, giving me three-star points. Try playing on Facebook.
Candy crush is all about Luck. The game decides when you pass a level. Since I decided to buy my way through a level because it took ages to pass it, it has taken even more time to pass future levels. The only succesformule is to sit it out. Eventualy you will pass.
cherylcandycrush here.
First time I played this level, the bombs were cleared quickly in a series of explosions and I got all ingredients down, bar one, which only had one candy between it and the end.
Will I use a hammer? I wondered. Nah, it must not be too hard a level, I thought, if I got this far in one go.
How wrong I was. It's a tricky one, Normally you can't get rid of the bombs. Or I couldn't. Just got through this morning though.
Basically, those bombs need to be cleared by the time you are down to about move 17. Concentrate on nothing else.
You need a bit of luck early on in the shape of eg a colour ball sent your way, but if you get it, just clear the bombs. The ingredients will take care of themselves later.
Maybe :-)
Just concentrate on killing those bombs.
Good luck.
Terrible level! I thought that my CC days were over. I tried free daily boosters but to no avail, and I certainly wasn't going to waste money on this level. What finally worked for me (after about 30 tries) was playing low and focusing on making stripes and sprinkles. If I couldn't get the the bombs out by countdown 4 I just exited. I got lucky and got a sprinkle which I matched with a lower bomb colour (I had 4 different colour bombs!). That released that caged bomb and caused a cascade which resulted in some stripes being made as well as another sprinkle and releasing the other cages. Yay! A horizontal stripe wiped out the two top bombs. Fortunately my fruit all stayed in the middle column and I used leftover stripes to remove them. I had 6 turns remaining and ended up with two stars. I still can't believe I gotit out 'cos I thought it was truly impossible without buying extras or using free boosters. So, don't give up. It can be done!
Best advice is to concentrate on moving the ingredients and don't worry about the bombs. There are not enough moves to do the bombs and then do the fruit. I read a comment saying to get the fruit first. I was able to complete this level on the very next try. It was also a lucky board. A few speckle/stripe pairs and a couple stripe and wrap.
You mean to tell me you need lots of luck on this level? You need mostly luck on all levels of this game as Roeland Visser said above. I also believe what they said about making the mistake of buying your way off of a level just once paves the rest of the way in the game. I have played this level hundreds of times now and managed to be able to get any kind of chocolate ball or combos less than 10 times!. Someone said they had 6 chocolate balls in one round, now THAT is a lucky board!!
I took the earlier advice to ignore the bombs and concentrate on dropping the ingredients - it worked!
No success in clearing bombs, dropped ingrediants by forming center based stripes before bombs went off.
I'm playing level 471 for days !! This is no fun anymore ... I'm done with it ....
