Candy Crush Saga level 611

Tips for level 611 Candy Crush Saga
You need to collect 6 ingredients in 45 moves to complete level 611.
The first thing to do is charge up the frog by matching him with candies of the same colour until he's ready to use.
Then use him to clear a patch of licorice from the bottom half of the board. Be careful not to place him below an ingredient or he will block the way for it to fall down.
Then you must start to match candies in the bottom half of the board next to the licorice to destroy at least one piece with every move.
If you use combos from the top half the licorice will simply fill up the spaces and block your moves again.
You should be able to get the ingredients collected fairly easily once you have candies in the bottom half to move around.

Very straightforward use the frog to clear the jelly.

Hmm ... My vertical stripes only clear one licorice which is immediately replaced by another from the licorice machine ... Is this an ipad bug cos I'm not managing to clear any around the fruit.

My frog has not been much to me. What might I be doing wrong. Been on this level for over a week.

I have had difficulty with many of the levels but this one passed 1st time with the help of the frog. It needs to be swapped with same colour candy about 5 times before it becomes "charged" then click on the frog and then click on the candy/liquorice you want it to land on and destroy and the fruit comes down immediately (so long as you do not position the frog under the fruit.

At this point, we know how to use the frog to smash licorice and lower ingredients. What I'm having trouble with is once the frog is in the lower half to drain the first ingredient, all action has to stay in that level. If I run out of moves on that level (which usually happens quickly because the frog only clears the immediate area), the game is essentially over. Making vertical stripes or combos in the top half is useless because they either don't break licorice in the bottom half or, if they hit candy in the bottom half, it just makes more licorice and makes things worse than it was. I'm trying to make one choco bomb in the top half in case I get clogged up in the bottom half after the frog gets there, and it does blow away a color but also replaces licorice. I'm not sure if there's a bug or not, because there seems to be no way to play top board at all once the frog is in the lower board. I think the only way to win is to wait for a board where you never run out of matches in the bottom half and can play the entire level there. Top board does zero all game except first round of feeding the frog. Once he's on the lower board, top board is done. Suggestions appreciated!

Not sure how using the frog is straight forward. AS the previous writer said all that happens is a vertical stripe replaces a licorice with another licorice and if the frog does not make same playable mixes game over. VERY boring. Clearly another wait for the one great board that has matches below to start with. I am playing less and less because of this level and no sense buying or using a charm as they will just bring more licorice.

Can someone tell me how the videos show candy falling on the bottom level. All I ever get is licorice unless the candy matches occur on the bottom half.!

I could be wrong, but I believe candy drops from the machines if you prevously break a licorice; same way chocolate doesn't grow if you broke chocolate on your previous move. Watch the video.

I really dont understand how to use the frog once its in bottom level.....because I run out of moves. Stuck here a week.

When you match frog with other candies of the same color, you'll see it gets fatter and fatter. After about 4 matches the voice says "frogtastic".

Then you will see the frog pulses. It has a circle around it and is fat and round. Now click on the frog and it will turn lighter.

Then go to another part of the board that you want to clear and hover your mouse and you will see a pale outline around a group of 9 squares. Once you have the pale outline where you want it, click your mouse and the 9 squares will be completely cleared.

The frog will go back to being small again and a different color to start all over again.

A quick way to grow the frog is to use a color bomb on the same color candies as the frog, he will eat all candies removed by the color bomb and grow to full size in one match normally.

This is the best explanation for how the frog works that I've seen (from another site). I passed this level but I have zero idea how it happened. I kept playing below and usually licorice didn't drop but I have no idea why. Would be nice to know.

After realizing that candy only fell from the dispensers after breaking licorice on the PREVIOUS move, I waited for a board that had a match in the bottom panel, then made vertical stripes in the upper. When ready, I matched on the bottom to break licorice, then blasted away with verticals from above. Never used the frog at all.

This level is totally confusing, once the frog went in to the bottom level all you got was licorice coming down from any combo made in the top half and no chance of making anything in the bottom half...no chance to even feed the frog. Just plain stupid!!!!!

Just curious as to why the description of the game at the top says there are 45 moves in this level when there are just 25.

Ok a typo error perhaps but initially I did get excited and dashed on to the Mac thinking there were more moves on the pc version.... fail!

Two hours on this level and I'm already depressed, here's hoping I get through soon...will share any tips when I do.

Can't believe after posting above comment, I tried one more time and got it!

Unfortunately I can't say what I did different - it happened so quickly and there was no planned strategy. Think the opportunities were there when they had not been on previous attempts.

I had terrible trouble with the licorice until I left the frog in the top section. I did not take him down the bottom. I could then work the candies in the bottom and the licorice did not take over the same. Got it first time I left the frog up the top.

I couldn't do this level until I ignored the frog. I got candies that matched in the lower level and went from there. You just have to wait for a screen where there are candies to match on the lower level.

This game only have 25 moves, why they said 45? What's wrong? Any explanation.

If you have moved the frog to the lower level but run out of moves, make a color bomb on the top section and use it to collect all the candies on the board that are the same color as the frog--she'll eat all the candies and be able to smash more licorice again. Do this repeatedly, if necessary. It's not too hard to create a color bomb on the top section. Once I devised this strategy, I cleared it the first time.

I've been reading the comments and now I'm gonna go back and try to utilize some of them... This is an evil level for me

You say there are 45 moves but I'm only getting 25 moves on this level. Did it change or something? Impossible in 25 moves. I'm not even seeing all the things that need to drop let alone get then to the bottom.

If you can manage to match the frog with a speckle, you will clear a large portion of the board.

Try to match the frog with a sprinkle. This will clear a large portion of the board.

In iPhone, when I place the frogstatic in the lower half of the board, it spits out candy and nothing gets cleared. The frog changes color and it is not possible to recharge the frog as there are no candies around withe the same color of the frog. Very frustrating

Not enough moves and impossible to get any momentum going in the bottom half. Come on cc, give us a break.

Once the frog is in the bottom half and fat, place him one square down and one square over from the ingredient
