Tips for level 833 Candy Crush Saga
Level 833 is a jelly level and the jelly is hidden under the cakes and the chocolate.
There are no chocolate spawners, so once the chocolate is destroyed it won't come back.
Work on making stripes and wraps to destroy the cakes, but don't forget about the 2 bombs sitting surrounded by cream blockers, they count down surprisingly quickly if you take your eyes off them too long.
Once the cakes are cleared you will be able to make colour bombs and other specials fairly easily and get a good 3 star score.
For the best score don't destroy the last jelly until the last couple of moves, as using moves will give you a much better score than the fish bonus you get for any unused moves.

Where are you guys? Are you stuck on those other 800 levels. Level 833 is not the easiest. Have played about 15 lives-but to no avail. Back later.
I'm stuck on level 833. I find it is pretty difficult. Will keep trying and hope for a lucky board.
Just got to this board and already sick of the bombs. I can't see getting past the bombs.
Got this level after 2 attempts. First work on getting the bombs , then strips and wrapper combo work best.
Can't believe I made it this far!
This is a tough board. Whenever I'm stuck on a brutal level, I play it on a PC, and I get it every time. Go figure:)
Unbelievably, I got this on the first try with 17 moves left! Everything just fell into place. JS
Once again couldn't do this level on my iPad. Did it first time on my laptop.
Another crazy level.... I guess I will keep trying till I get that one good board!! It's just really annoying & frustrating to read that it's easier on a PC or lap top!! I play on an iPad..... Why isn't it the same level of difficulty for all......
Oh look. It's another mindless level that comes down to pure luck. If I wanted a game like that I would just play solitaire. Do the designers need more time to make up levels or are they trying to frustrate us enough to pay for help?
Not too hard of a level, should be able to get it without too much fuss. Concentrate on getting those bottom bombs and that will also help clear part of the cakes, when you can make stripe wrap combos as it will clear the cakes. Once these are gone it is easy provided you have moves left. The real key to this level is to clear cakes ASAP
Those damn bombs
Having trouble even coming close. Take any help I can get!
After playing this level a couple times it looks like one of those that helps you build extras through the daily spin.
Hmmmm tough level but previous were lots of fun! I'll keep trying for that lucky board!!
JanC here. Figured out if you haven't cleared one cake with 25 moves remaining, give it up. Then I decided to see what a fish booster would do. Fish aren't my favorite -- I had 12 from the daily spin. So I gave it a try: it worked! I got maybe 7 fish throughout the game. First ones chipped away at the cakes. Later, they worked on the jellies. Three stars! (Used a booster, so no parade, tho) .. But if you're stuck & sick of it, & have fish, give it a try.
I tried the fish several times, but they were of no use to me. Neither were extra color bombs. So far I never got more than one or two cakes cleared. Most of the time I can't even get past the bombs.
This level depends on pure luck. Just playing and waiting for the lucky board... - Gabi
OMG! I have to complain here more often, it really seems to help. :-). It's the second time that I went back to play after posting here and beat a seemingly impossible level quite easily.
First, a bomb fell to the right side in between the chocolate and I thought That's it I'll never get to it. But it got eaten by chocolate. Then I could make a stripe/wrap combo on the right side above the bottom cake and it took out all three cakes. I have no idea how that happened. The blows left me with only a few jellies to clear. Piece of cake, so to say. I finished with 20 moves left.
Still don't know how the left cake was cleared, because the combo was nowhere near to hit it. But you see, the lucky board will come eventually, so just keep playing.
Good luck - Gani
Hi it's Kath... I just hit it with all 3 of the options from the daily spins at once.... And Bingo!!! As I've said before... That's what they are for. I'll cave in and use them on a hard level if I have too.....
Managed to get a very lucky two chocolate bombs next to each other which claered all the chocolate and freed up the level. Very tedious.
I don't know why bitching on a help blog like this one helps us get past difficult levels but it really does seem to work. I've seen posts on several other blogs and experienced this phenomenon myself. So here it goes. This level sucks!! Its so boring!! The game forces you to make the only move possible that does nothing to advance the game time after time until the bombs explode. Move bombs are the worst element of this game.
I did not enjoy this level. I usually like a challenge, but oh, those bombs! Anyway, after many, many tries I have just done it, no boosters, three stars. Only strategy was to start with a vertical stripe to give me a chance of getting rid of the first two bombs...or a sprinkle if they were the same colour. Sprinkle/stripe combos were very useful too.
Crazy....Crazy...Crazy...After many failures I gave up hope but then the board god appeared.I got the 1'st cake early & then special combo set up to get 2'nd..After that it was unreal..almost all jellies gone & able on next move to get final 2 jellies with 27 moves left...UNREAL...This is a Hard level but with patience & focus your turn will happen That's a promise...
I thought this was a difficult level and ran through many lives before finally getting that "lucky board". The bombs got me most times and I never cleared more than 1 cake, if that. Have to get those lower two bombs fast or it's game over. Make specials when you can, but that's not always easy. 2 Stars, no boosters.
the tip person refers to 2 bomb. I wish it was only 2 bombs. I haven't even gotten close to beating this level, even using my daily freebies.
Yeah! Lol NO!
I have 3 words to describe this leve........ugh, ugh, ugh!
Third time very lucky I guess. I got through this one on my second try. But went in this level from 3 to 1 and then 2 stars. Although when I read the comments I don't mind how many stars as long as I got through so quickly. No strategy, just luck.
If there is a board god, please help me now, thank you :)
JSN: Took me five tries. The bombs are not too bad except for the bottom two, but I was usually able to get them. My problem was clearing any of the pizzas. And then the chocolate would come out giving me even less room to maneuver. But the game I won, I finally cleared a pizza which destroyed all of the chocolate before they emerged from the corners. From then on it was easy. I tend not to come here for hints unless I'm really struggling, so I missed the advice to save the last jelly until I was down to my last move, and so had to settle for two stars.
Bored out of my mind. I've tried every combination of boosters with no luck. What a waste of time.
OMG I've had several games where I'm making sprinkles galore but they're of no help! I've been playing for days and getting nowhere on my iPad! Time to go the my computer?
I paid the 99 cents to cross to the new episode and got two hours of playing time with it. I'm about to run out of time on this one, but cleared two or three boards before, so I guess it's worth it.
My first win was 40 points below what I needed to get a three star win so I played a few more and got a solid three star win/ no boosters. My tip: defuse the move bombs that are already on the board before going after the cakes. Good luck! JayJay
Bored
I FINALLY got a luck board a few minutes ago. Two chocolate bombs dropped down next to each other that cleared all but a few jellies. I had 23 moves to go so I had to make sure the counting bombs didn't explode before getting rid of them. I did and got three stars with no boosters. It takes patience on some of these levels but if you hang in there it will eventually work out. I refuse to pay for boosters so I may be stuck longer than those who want to pay. Now on to make dinner and take a break before trying 834.
After playing for many days, I started a game on my pc and had to go to work. Came home to finish and when I sat down, I suddenly realized this was a winner. As everything was cascading, I got the "oh no, something happened" message. I restarted the program and was heartbroken to see that it didn't register the win. So I started and saw this was going to be a winner too. How does that work....must be the Candy Crush gods...two in a row. :)

I was finding this impossible, and at best clearing just one pizza, but never getting anywhere near finishing. Then I cracked it. You need a decent board – but not a magic one. As soon as you're within two pieces left on a pizza, use a lollipop booster to clear that cake. That sorts the chocolate. Then it's far easier to clear the other pizzas, and you can use another lollipop if one is troublesome. Tried it twice and it works! Pizza cake!
I think this is the end of Candy Crush for me. Days and days and not even close. Used my boosters and also nothing.
Time to find a new game.
Can't get rid of bombs. Need lucky board.
Posting for luck
