Hints and tips for level 869 Candy Crush Saga

Level 869 is a jelly level which has 30 moves and begins with only 2 colours on the board.
You need to break at least one of the cream blockers at the top of the board in the first move or 2 otherwise no more candies will fall and it's game over before you begin!. You can do this by making a vertical stripe with the reds, then matching it on the second move.
There is jelly under all the cream blockers, so they all have to be cleared to complete the game, but as there are only 5 colours, specials and combos are easy to make.

Got this one first try. Great after last level.
Took me a few attempts but no one should find this too hard. Regards AJ
JanC here. Yup, first try, two stars, no boosters. Easy as pie, nice break.
Guess it's just me, lol. Finding this level harder than the last 2. Seems like it should be easy, but always get left with 1 or 2 jellies. Oh we'll gotta keep at it.

Finally got it. Got lucky with 3 chocolate sprinkles.
And I'm sure JanC advised Einstein about the theory of relativity too ;)

I had more trouble with this than some of you, and kept having one or two jellies left. Then came board with choc balls dropping which I had nothing to do with forming. There's no telling.
JanC can be quite helpful at tiems, indeed, but there are other "experts" out there as well ;)
After making it this far, there are no "experts". Instead I would call us all patient, strong-willed and lucky folks!! LoL. Good luck fellow crushers!!

Took quite a few attempts needed chocolate bomb plus striped candy then some luck.
Tricky. Yes, a fun level too, but it took about 20 lives to crack it. I kept being left with one inaccessible candy!
Got two sprinkles one after another so they dealt with the corner ones even though I wasn't able to make a combo. Only tip - do NOT use a fish to start with - it stopped me breaking the top candy so game over. I suspect that applies to any booster!
It surprises me that so many people have been fooled by the troll who pretends to be JanC. Respect to the real JanC for not biting.

Not too bad compared to the first few levels in this episode. Took less than a dozen lives and you must open one of the top sides on the first two moves. Then concentrate on the cake. All in all a fun level. 2 stars, no boosters, on PC.
Very easy & fun & start by clearing cake bomb in 2 moves..YUP..First create vertical striped candy in the third column by swapping the left topmost red with the orange candy below it.Second move swap the second red candy in the far right column with orange candy on its left & bingo cake bomb cleared & hammer clears all top icings & refills board with candies.you now have 28 moves to clear remaining icing & jellies beneath them..Very easy level..Try it ..Its fun
868 was easier actually. This one is hard on mobile as the needed cascades do not form as easily. The sides are hard to clear as well as the 2 bottom jellies.
Thanks for the great tip above about the first two moves. It worked a treat.
