Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1883 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

You have to make and use 5 colour bombs in 22 moves, as there are only 4 colours on the board it should be quite easy. The problem is the shape of the board which makes it a bit harder to get the colour bomb patterns and also you will use quite a few moves clearing the blockers to give you space to work. There is no need to clear the blockers completely, just enough so you have a good clear space to make your colour bombs. You may not be able to make moves in the bottom part of the board but if you can make a couple of combos to clear some of the blockers it will make life a bit easier.
You also need to keep the chocolate under control at the bottom.
I found it easiest to make the colour bombs in the top part of the board and once the blockers are cleared you can make moves in the bottom part to keep the chocolate cleared and this will move the candies in the top as they drop through the teleports. This way you can use the cascades to get your candies in position to make colour bombs.
The biggest problem is the shortage of moves, you really don't have many to spare on clearing blockers but without doing that you are unlikely to make the colour bombs you need. A really hard level!

Only 22 moves on Android instead of 40 like on PC. Used a Check booster and finished with eight moves left and five extra Chocolate bombs that I didn't need.

My iPad version only has 25 moves. This demo has 40. This is impossible in 25 even with boosters.

Pretty much impossible on iPad unless you use a check booster. Too few moves, board too limited with blocks to clear sufficiently to make color bombs. However, extremely easy with check booster, no skill at all to pass.

A check booster looks like a checkmark ✔ and when played creates what you need. In this case, a color bomb.

Don't waste your color bombs. Just use the check mark. Easy peasy

I gave up and used a check mark booster. It's so unfair that iPad has only 22 moves snd the PC has 40. Good grief. It is impossible to make 5 sprinkle balls in 22 moves. What were they thinking? Easy to do with the booster.
22 moves to make and use 5 Colour Bombs in such a restrictive board with chocolates. Does any of King's staffs play Candy Crush Saga themselves? I bet not. This game is so crappy nowadays that even the staffs themselves will cringe to play at.
I only have 22 moves also. I tried my phone and pc. This is the 1st time I'm actually ready to quit. There is no chance on this one.

All formats are only 22 moves at this time. I have only managed to get one sprinkle per game and just a couple times at that. This is a time waster level for sure.

Playing on Android. Got it second time using sprinkle and check mark boosters. Only got 2 check marks each game, so had to make 2 sprinkles myself.

22 moves on my pc, as well. So, Ms Cookie, how about a video of winning with 22 moves and no boosters? Seriously, CC, I know you are expecting us to pay for boosters, but, this gal will quit long before I spend money on a game that rarely due to skill any more, but, sheer luck or hard earned money.
I am lucky if I get 8,000 on my iPad and that is mostly from what exploded after my time us up. I get constant board shuffling. Come on King, those of us who have got this far can obviously PLAY, at least make it reachable to get the score of 35,000. I never thought I would consider giving up at this point.

1888 - Used my 5 lives within 12 minutes (passed it on second try the day after)

Oh man !!! Can this level be completed without boosters and only 22 moves , I've spent the last 24 hours trying and honestly have only managed to get one choccy booster ... I would appreciate any help , baring in mind I don't have boosters and only what I get free from the daily spin .help !!!!
Third day of trying and the most chocolate sprinkles i've managed to collect is two , without the use of boosters I cannot see this level being completed ,22 moves without boosters is impossible so far , what chance do people like me who have no means to purchase the necessary boosters required .I rely on sugar drops and the free daily spin ,and in the past 4 days ive been given a fish that cannot be used , ,it gets tedious after 3 / 4 days to the point of me asking why I even play this game it's not as if there is a financial gain or a prize to be won .
Seems like I'm the only one having trouble with this level ,day 5 and still getting no where near to obtaining the 5 sprinkles required to clear ,the most I've collected is 3 and that was only on one occasion. Endlessly trying to achieve the impossible .It seems now CC is all about purchasing boosters and if like me you're not able to buy then you're stuck for days on end ,the game becomes tedious and in the end you play less and less ,I used to rave about this game , send out invites to play but now I have very few friends who actually play the game .
It just never gets easier , I know this a hard level and it is ,it's very hard 5 sprinkles in 22 moves ,it's now over a week for me ,and I can't even manage to get more than two sprinkles ,I very rarely get even one , I feel like a hamster in a cage going round and round but getting no where , it's hard to collect sugar drops on this level and the daily spin has given me boosters that can#t be used . Spare a thought for the ones who can't afford the constant reminders that boosters can be bought and have to play for days on end on a level with virtually no chance of clearing .
i've collected 4 lucky fishes and 4 coconut wheels in the last 9 days from the free daily spin . ,maybe if CC lets me get a decent board and pass this crazy hard level I might get a chance to use them , if not then im stuck forever , 9 days is a bit too long , bored is an under statement .
Came here for help and noticed that everyone likes the Check Booster, so went back and focused on making one Color Bomb, then used it to clear out the color that was the LEAST represented. The remaining colors made it easy to make the final four color bombs. NOTE: do not waste one of the precious 22 moves on blowing up those next four color bombs unless you are stuck. I cleared all five bombs with NO boosters, but I needed every one of the 22 moves.

Used a check booster and got one at the beginning and not a single other one! Also mostly impossible to make more than a couple of moves at the top of the board.Garbage!
Used a check booster, on IPad. Each time I matched the check, it turned into a sprinkle. Each time I exploded the sprinkle , it generated another check, which I then turned into a sprinkle.
22 moves on pc, 30 on mobile just proves king is filled with Incompetent morons!!!!!!
Hmm - a poorly designed level. Ridiculously hard with no boosters - ridiculously easy with boosters.

Got this no boosters after 7 attempts. Had a color bomb early and kept getting them by removing the color there was most of which helped create another. Had 16 moves left to make last one and lucky i did..glad to be over this as i initially thought it impossible esoecially after reading these comments..its doable
Unfortunately I'm out of boosters and after a week on this level I'm out of enthusiasm for Candy Crush. Maybe they are mad at me because I haven't spent any $ up to this point. I'm thinking a good book may be better use of my time. :(

The levels will be getting harder as we progress and like most others here I had to use a check booster to get it. Check/tick boosters always turn into what you need to collect so in this case it will be sprinkles. As you make cascades other checks will fall down.
I used a check booster. The first time I got two boosters but wasn't enough. The second time I only got one. Wasteful.

Ignore all the posts with complaints and just do what Peachie said and use the check mark booster. Sailed right through after using. Wasted a lot of lives prior to reading Peachies advice. Don't even waste a sprinkle-just try the check mark

Cc why do we have to play with only 22 moves?I watch the older versions with the 22 moves and all but one donut shows up and they win. I have been playing this game till I'm bored stiff. It can not be done unless we get help like the video so I'm begging for some help because I'm so bored with this level pls
Use the check Mark booster? Well, how the Fuck do you get that? This is classified as a super hard level, not just a hard level. Get it right! 22 moves doesn't even come close to enough with all your tips. Gfy...if it's so effing easy for you to pass, then why can't we pass it after a few tries, but no, it has to take us weeks to pass. Gfy...I'm done with the bullshit. cc is a life crusher..
Check mark booster did it for me. Once I turned first check mark into a sprinkle, 3 more check marks cascaded down so it was easy from then on. Not saying this will work for everyone but worked for me. Good luck.

I am on normal PC & only 22 moves to be had here. I question whether it is normally possible without boosters.
We're up to levels now where we will sometimes be forced to use boosters & this is one of them.
Just be warned. I used colour ball & tick(check) boosters. First time round, I only got one colour ball and 2 checks. Second time around ditto BUT I had been lucky enough to make one colour ball on my own, then saw another opportunity to use the hand to move a candy & make another one.
So you may be lucky & get heaps with a tick booster just don't count on it. But.. you will definitely need one to get through, just it takes a few tries.
thanks for the advice everyone! Check booster worked for me-I added the sprinkle candy just to be safe because I only had 1 check booster. that may have helped to clear the board & also keep the chocolate away. Done!
After reading this forum, I was tempted to buy boosters, but decided to give it one more try. Made 6 bombs in 22 moves and passed with 3 stars by using all the suggested moves in the game. Phew!
The check mark is the booster to use. It can only turn into a candy ball. I started with a free helmet candy bar and threw all 3 boosters and won the first time, but it was the check mark that made the difference.
Please send me a lucky board....I've been paying for days and used all the boosters I had with no luck. Please help.

Well I think we can all see from the new video that this is definitely all down to luck to pass this game and it's cc playing it for you. I mean the sprinkles were forming with no help from the player so just another rigged/lucky game. These are getting very repetitive and boring...

As long as cc change the levels, 22 moves instead of 40, i wont play this game! Beside that, cc is Too lazy to change the walkthrough. Seems cc has enough players, Haha, dont think so. Its Just a bad organisation. Compare with other games, a vers bad bad organisation!

What the ####? The stingy check boosters have given me only 2 color bombs..impossible to win without and I only have one left. BTW, how do you get more check boosters? I may have to "check" out of CC...I've been buying gold bars left and right, but the last two buys the bars I had in my account disappeared.

There is no way that I am going to get 5 chocolate bombs in 22 moves . This is not fair , in the video she has 40 moves ... the way the board is set up there is no room to make 5 chocolate bombs and then the chocolate takes over the board . I hard enough to get 5 colour bombs in a 100 moves not alone 22 moves ! I do not have any checkmarks and I will not spend a penny to buy anything , never have and never will and I have gotten myself this far !!! King why are you making these game boards sooooo hard !
If you buy a check booster you have not passed the level...if you get one as a bonus you have otherwise if you buy boosters you will win every level possible...defeats the object.
