Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2497 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have 26 moves to clear the jelly and complete level; 2497 Candy Crush Saga.
The jelly is hidden under the chocolate and blockers so this has to be cleared to get to the jelly.
Vertical stripes and stripe/wrap combos will start the job of clearing and growing the popcorns.
Look for special candies with every move, wrapped candies are best for growing the popcorns, especially if you can get them next to them. If you can grow 2 adjacent popcorns into colourbombs you can switch them together to help clear the chocolate. Once the chocolate is gone it won't come back so you can forget about it once you have cleared it.
There are very few moves to spare so you can't afford to waste any at all.
A jelly fish booster may be helpful on this level.
I used a lolly hammer to finish off the jelly in the following video but it is possible without boosters.

Well I wish I could get a set-up like the video. I am finding this hard. I am lucky to get all the colour bombs exposed, let alone set them off. Finding it very hard to make wraps or even vertical stripes. I suppose it´s a case of waiting for that lucky board again!

Struggled for 2 days on desktop, then the lucky board appeard + 3 hammers..

Tough level, hard to match up stripes/wraps. Used all the boosters i had, just going to have to wait until Wednesday for it to come up on Ipad because PC is very stingy with rewards and boosters. Wonder why they have the flying saucers up by the boosters, but you can never earn them?

and here I thought the last few levels were better.... Closest I'Ve been is 11 jellies left!!! Often, 1-2 moves available, without any chance of making stripes or wraps... I know complaining won't get me anywhere, but posting for luck might... Will wait for Lucky board.

Thought King got the message, as the last few levels had both challenge and fun in them. Then back to what has become their standard -boring as heck, and no way to win until King decides to bless you with the lucky board. Despise these levels. Use to love this game! Just about weaned myself off of it! My iPad only loads on Wednesdays, and my PC gets very few boosters. Watching time fly is more interesting - and fun!
I don't mean to brag, but I haven't used any boosters, and have gotten all the way down to 18 left!
Another tedious, boring and pointless level this is. Don't waste any boosters as it seems to be designed to take them all off you with impossible configurations. Just spend my five lives and wait for a lucky board on another day.
Poating for luck a second time. I've come close a couple of times (2-3 jellies left) AND I would have finished it IF I would have bought some moves which I won't. Waiting for the game to be available on PC in a couple of days - more boosters, magic helmet might be available, etc. Who knows .... maybe I'll get lucky then ...

Wish there was a few more moves on this level. Posting for luck. I've been on it using my PC since last week, after finishing the last episode on mobile. I would have finish it if I would have bought some more moves but I dont want to spend money on a game I'm looosing interest in.
Without reading other comments, I just cannot believe that this isn't categorized as a 'hard' level. It's one of the hardest levels I've been on in awhile. Playing on computer doesn't let me use hammer on popcorn, so I've wasted a few hammers. I've also had extra moves, 2 chocolate bombs side by side, everything... still haven't come close. Always have at least 5 more jellies to clear. Maybe when it comes out on mobile apps tomorrow it will be easier.
I noticed this morning, King has made this level easier! I'm moving on with 2 stars...hooray, done. :)
I agree, this is one of the hardest levels ever. Mainly, because you dont realize at first, how hard and possibly "rigged" it is.
Think about it, if there is always a youtube help video showing how to beat each level, yet every video has "unbelievably lucky" amounts of candy combinations coming down, that kind of completely contradicts what actually happens in the real levels. In this one, matches never come down so there is NOTHING you can do unless you purchase boosters, or play over and over hoping for a stroke of luck.
I think the how to beat videos are made by the CCS creators, bc even having allthose boosters wouldnt control what comes down. I think they rig a lot of harder levels in a way where you are 'stuck" on them a while bc they are nearly impossible.....
***Then, out of the blue, one day you get a completely different and lucky set of candies coming down. Almost like it wouldnt come down until u were stuck on level for while.

As previoulsy said on one comment I put for this level, did it after a week of tries when was finally available on mobile. First try, helmet boosters with extra colour bomb and boosters given before starting. I was very tired of playing this level and I,m very glad to move on.

Chocolate sprinkle/wrap combo making sure there are candies of same color as wrap above the popcorn. After that some stripes and using a lollipop to make a chocolate sprinkle combo from the popcorns. Finished with 13 moves left.

This one should be classified as hard. Getting no where!
All previous stages in ccs, all can be passed without using boosters, not even needing a helmet booast. Tested and proven.
At over 2000, i expect some difficulties in the stages. This one is hard, but it should be expected of.

Couldn't have described it better. There are so few possibilities to make combinations, its no skill, no fun, just boring and making kind of aggressive when you never have luck (or have luck in the beginning but not at the end and still no chance to finish the level)
I agrre that they keep it almost impossible to beat and then when you have tried like a hundred times they give you a board and you are like ' what just happened?' kind of thing. well i have done about 60x so far so bit of a way to play yet. good luck all!
Play CC for 2 years and there have been always nasty levels, but here I actually do not have any clue how to solve it. The "striped spenders" spend mainly stripes in the wrong direction, CB combos or other combos never hit it all and chocolate grows fast and in the end, even after many good combinations, there are too many jellies left,.... even with fishes and or all boosters no reasonable chance.... Apart from the fact that in the beginning too few combinations are possible. Should be at least a "hard level" and with 10 moves more it would be much more fun and less desperation
Very strange..... After around 60-80 attempts, with and without boosters, never few than 18 jellies in the end I got the lucky board, no boosters, 3 moves left. Had many CBs and could usw them often with stripes
On my Android phone, this one has just been re-classified as a "super-hard level". At least they've acknowledged that much, not that I'm any closer to completing it !
Just passed on Android, no boosters used. 2 stars. Honestly nothing special during my gameplay, just aim to make as many wrap combos. Iirc my last move was a wrap+stripe combo.
Finally passed this one using 2 hand switch and 2 hammers.

After two days of playing I got the perfect board. I had already tried the sprinkle/wrap combo (several times) as somebody suggested but it didn't work for me. This time I had a wrap sitting above the popcorn but two side by side sprinkles appeared from nowhere beside it. I hesitated for a second then decided the sprinkle/sprinkle option would be better. That left me with two more adjacent sprinkles but one went off on its own. Suddenly all the chocolate was gone. More sprinkles formed without my help and the board was cleared with ten moves left.

Not enough moves is one thing, but then the jelly is a double layer. Not to mention the popcorn has to be hit 3 times , by then moves are all gone . Stupid .

This is impossible, can't even get close on my pc or phone. On my phone it's listed as a "Super Hard Level" cause the "Hard Levels" just weren't hard enough I guess! If only we all got boards like Candy!!!

I have enjoyed playing candy crush for some time now, but the time has come enough is enough. It is no longer an enjoyment but just plain boring. I feel like after reaching level 2497 I am no longer interested and I am officially calling it quits.
Struggling again really hard games in this section and this one is not really fun more frustrating and no tips that can help seems the only way to pass is the lucky board

This is the worst level ever. I am posting for luck but I'm not going to play much longer. I have been playing this level for weeks. Boring, boring, boring!!!
You don't need posters and waste of time posting for luck- all you need is patience and suddenly everything falls into place! I used one swap to get 2 choc bombs next to each other & I tried to concentrate on the centre before opening up the sides because the side choc grows too quickly.

Stuck here for over a week,! Have tried buying bars, extra games, but CC always sabotages myboards. Even lucky boards dont seem tohelp, nor posting here 😢😢😢😱😱😱
I finally passed! Concentrated on the center and was ablento match two colorbombs. Then, used a free switch to get a colorbomb and stripe aligned. Every thing else fell into place..with just one move left and two jellies left, luckily I had another colorbomb and was able to get the last two jellies with that. Horrible level. Glad it's over.
My suggestions: I had the best luck matching a colorbomb with another colorbomb, stipe or wrap. Also, try to stay away from the left and right sides when you start, otherwise the chocolate will take over quickly. Best of luck! :)

Seems to be the best way is to get two wrapped candies next to each other directly above the popcorn. Getting them there is the key.. I have had NO LUCK so far.

Too many colors to make special candies and combos. And the stripes don’t drop that often from the special candy drops and when they do the stripes are going the wrong way. Uggg

Why does King give you what looks like a winning board on the last move? Then when you get extra moves because it looks as if there is no way you can't finish you get NO moves that allow you to finish.

Cookie has helped so many time....I will try the suggestions, but I have to say, what looked like an easy level has my number🤔
It's really frustrating when the best you can hope for is a lucky board. There's no longer any skill to this game; it's all about waiting for that lucky board before moving on. And come on - we're at 2497 so it's not like we're a bunch of newbs who don't know what we're doing! I have long ago stopped tossing any money toward advancing. It's just not fun anymore.

The levels of cc become more and more not interesting at all, hardly play iT. The times playing it becomes longer and longer. Boring and playing the game does not have my interest at all. Thats What most players have. Games are not anymore interesting anymore.

I played this horrible level about 70 times!!! I tried every combination of boosters!! Nothing at all!! The CC doesn't have fun as before ... all the levels as you moving forward are very difficult and all you want is 99% luck!!!

Truly a ridiculous level. No chance with that few moves. Might have to stop playing and spin the booster wheel for a week or so. Although the boosters don’t seem to be much help either. Thanks King for a truly awful level.

Same posts . Same complaints. Same crap. Every day now. I think it really is time to search for a new game and put the energy and time into finding one that’s enjoyable again. Even I AM TIRED of hearing MYSELF whine about how CC has become nothing but a tedious money making machine for King and no fun for tje players anymore . I’m sure there’s something out there that can be fun and relaxing to play , just like CC was at one time LONG AGO. That’s my plan anyway . Good luck to all . I’m in search of something enjoyable .
