Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2658 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect the 8 popcorns to complete level 2658 Candy Crush Saga.
There are a lot of moves, but you still need to make every one count.
Stripe/wrap combos are very good and switched near the middle they can hit up to 4 popcorns in one move. Use the conveyor to get your combos together.
Use the dispensers as much as possible to get the stripes and wraps and the conveyors will bring them together although you will likely lose a lot as the wraps have a tendency to self destruct.

The colourbombs you get from the popcorns don't help a lot so you can ignore them and continue with making combos in the main part of the board.
However seitching a colourbomb with a stripe can be really useful, but make sure there are candies of the stripe colour in line with the popcorns you need to hit before you switch the combo or it will be wasted.
In the original PC format the colourbombs don't drop from the squares they are in once the popcorns are grown, but in the new HTML5 they do, so it is a bit easier as you can use them to switch with stripes instead of having to make your own colourbombs.

terrible level
After numerous attempts, I used the lucky check booster and beat it first time. The popcorn in the upper left was the hardest to get so this was much easier to hit the popcorn in the center of the board. I'm playing on Android and the CBS don't drop down?
Color bombs don't drop down on iPhone, either.

I started with a candy ball, striped-wrapped candies, and a check mark. I reset the game until the wrapped candy was next to the candy ball, with like-colored candies near some of the pop corn. Another option would be to reset the game until the striped and wrapped candies are next to each other with popcorn above, below, and to the sides.
The check mark candies produced popcorn that was more accessible, and plenty of special candies were generated by the dispensers. Remove popcorn created from the check marked candies, and there are a lot of opportunities for combos which will open up even more popcorns.
I had the 27 moves version on iPhone but PC was giving me the 44 moves version. I passed on the PC version using the check mark (or tick) booster.
The key is not to activate the check booster until you get it onto the conveyor. CC does not allow popcorn blockers to appear on the conveyor so if you activate it on the conveyor it automatically becomes a sprinkled booster and counts towards the 8.

Interesting after being at this a day it said I passed but there was 1 popcorn left! I had 1 left prior but didn't pass me. Very odd but glad to be through this!!

I just passed this but I still had 4 popcorns left. I think it is because I made 4 colour bombs during the game. So you could just concentrate on that because the popcorn in the top left is nearly impossible to explode.
I finally passed this level on my first try after using the check mark booster! It added two more popcorns on the board in easier to hit areas!

As advised earlier in this set of comments, use a check mark booster and this will be converted to a colour bomb very quickly with the many special candies released in the middle of the board and this repeats several times!!!!

Not only did I upgrade my IOS on my iPad but I also got a new iPhone. Consequently I lost all my boosters on both devices!! Does any one know how to retrieve them?? I had 6 check marks on both. Now I am stuck on this level for days. Help please

Thank you to those who suggested using the lucky check mark, worked a treat first time I tried it. For those who have got to this level and don't know what a lucky check mark is, how can you not know .. it's probably a language thing .. check is American for ✅ tick. Hope that helps and good luck to all.
Oh, and as larfingravy said on 6th August, don't activate the tick just let it fall on to the conveyor belt, it will count towards your total. Good luck.
Check mark booster makes it very simple.
After a few tries I also started with the checkmark booster. When they go off on the conveyer belt they immediately turn into a sprinkle and count for a popcorn. Still had only 1 move left when I finished!

Used. The check booster. Turned into a more accessible popcorn. Got several more checks and that made it easy.

Day 7 and still no closer than I was one day 1. This is a very hard level to get thru. If ever I need a lucky board it is with this one. So once again I am asking for a lucky board to help me get away from this one. I am out of boosters, out of luck, and just about our of patience
