Candy Crush Saga Level 2673 Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2673 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie.
At first this level looks fairly impossible and I tried a few different things before I worked it out. It looks as though the coconut wheels are a waste of time, but they are the secret to passing level 2673.
First collect keys to unlock the coconut wheels, but as soon as you have a coconut wheel unlocked switch it with the candy to the right of it, the coconut wheel will run off to the right and take the licorice that is on the same row.
Do this with the rest of the coconut wheels as they are unlocked.
One thing to be very careful of is to not clear the candy to the right of the coconut wheels as you need this to switch with them. You can't switch a coconut wheel with an empty square so it will be wasted if you clear the candy.

Hi. When I switch the coconut wheel with a candy to the right, it does not take the liquorise with it. Any ideas please ?

Mona Reed said...

Doesn't for me either!

msnega said...

Must be a flaw. That won't work for me either.

I got lucky with two color bombs side by side and switched them together and that cleared the board. The coconut wheels never worked for me.

It works on king.com, but not the windows app.

Thanks! I have never played on King.com that I remember and would never have thought it would be different, now I know!

They have to fix the PC version so it works like, apparently, the King.com version or else this level is impossible.

whats the point having coconut wheel since is not helping at all, another brainless level

Anyone know how to log on to king.com? I just get unknown e-mail when I try to recover my password. I play CC via facebook and logged on via facebook the first time. So don't know of any password.

your solution doesnt work out - another Level where the hints here have nothing to do with reality - whats going on with this game ? Do you want us to quit ?

Anonymous said...

Your solution doesn't work any more. Why don't you go back and try to solve it again?

Anonymous said...

Hit coconut wheels from the left with stripes, then they go in the right direction and get the licorice.

Anonymous said...

Two chocolate sprinkles together and game is solved.

18 moves only. Please correct. Posting for luck.

Ignore Cookie's advice on this one - it's useless. The coconut wheels don't clear the licorice like they do in this video. I have no idea where that comes from...neither my PC or Android has ever had a coconut wheel clear licorice like that. Just hit them with stripes and get a good cascade going at the end -- it was my last move that cleared it, I wish I had a video, because I was shocked, I thought for sure I had lost again. hbk

Coconut wheels did not work for me either. Managed to get a stripe/wrap combo twice which sent the wheels off in the right direction. Used 3 hammers to get the last licorice when I got fed up! Good luck everyone!

Ugh!! I hate when levels have issues like this..Is there not some kind of process where you check levels before releasing them?? Ugh!!

Anonymous said...

The advice above does NOT work! It doesn't work on my iPhone, either....BUT as 9 August 2017 at 19:03 said above, the trick is 2 color bombs next to each other. I just played a couple of the early levels to play Magic Dash so I can get at least a color bomb. Then went back to this level, used a color bomb booster and kept resetting it until the color bombs were side by side. Well, I got tired of resetting and when they were close enough I had to use 1 switch to get them together. Then it was easy. I hate to use my boosters!

my post disappeared...
This does work for me on a facebook platform. I switched my wheel to the right and the wheel ate the first candy and the two licorice next to it disappeared. Now I just have to clear the level.

Anonymous said...

I posted about this working on facebook, just tried on my phone: no go.

Kim Swartz said...

The wheels can help a little. If you swipe them up or down they will give you a horizontal stripe on the row above or below. But a color ball booster is better paired with another color ball or even a stripe.

Anonymous said...

Try to remove one licorice with a striped candy. Release all the wheels. One of them will eliminate two more licorice above and below. Keep rolling the the wheels. Et voila! Level done. Gurk

Thanks for the tip!!

Perhaps we can try to remember that Cookie doesn't get paid to do this and has her own life. She has already struggled through the levels and given advice. Just because King changed the levels doesn't mean she owes us to go back and solve the problem again. The comments are a good place to swap tips when someone else finds a good solution. But she could decide to stop doing this at any time so perhaps some respect is in order.

Does King ever test these levels? My coconut wheels do not take out any licorice. I can get down to 6 left - and that's if I manage to get the keys right away. Another boring level without any challenges. This game is getting so unimaginative. Also, so few moves! What gives? This game use to be fun! I see in the posts, one only needs 2 chocolate balls next to each other - really? That is so "creative" from King's game creators! About done with this game, as accumulated boosters do nothing, and you have to play for days to get that lucky board.

Anonymous said...

Closest I have got without boosters is by unlocking as many wheels as possible, and then setting one off with a stripe or wrap (not by switching). Some will go vertical and hit some liquorice, and also set off the wheel above or below. Then a couple of horizontal stripes got me a couple more liquorice, and I was left with only two. This was after only a couple of tries this way, so I reckon a few more tries and I'll get luckier with picking off the last few liquorice.

Thanks for the tips folks. I used a colorbomb booster and waited for it to start next to my gift colorbomb. These levels are getting dumber and dumber.

Two color bombs together did the trick. Passed on my 2nd attempt with 8 moves left.

Carol Duncan said...

I can't get it on king.com as when I click install it just opens the app I already have on my phone. Any ideas?

Bert Wissink said...

the key is with the wheels. you need to get a striped/wrapped combo and hit the licorice twice. this will clear licorice behind at least one wheel. then unlocking a wheel with a key will allow you to move the wheel to the right thus getting 3 striped clearing other licorice. doing this 2 or 3 times will clear the board

Anonymous said...

Your tips are worthless.
The wheels do not work for us mere mortals the way they work for you.

Anonymous said...

The coconut wheel will clear licorice on the IE version of King.com but not on the mobile version (Android).

The way to clear it on Android is to clear two licorice on one row using stripes BEFORE that row's coconut wheel is unlocked. Other candies will fall in their places. Then you unlock that row's wheel, move it to the right and it will destroy the two licorice above and below it. Then unlock another wheel and do the same thing.

I only have 15 moves please fix

Anonymous said...

Changing rules again KING?????? Why doesn't anyone check the levels now en then?? I call this cheating on your clients KING. So Fix it, move it or give everyone a lucky board but DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

Anonymus said...

Passed the level today after a few times first reading all your advises and comments striped/wrapped combo's indeed work the best and did come

Well that video is no hope. Coconut wheel doesn't work like that for me iether. And typical i only have 15 moves not 20 ;(

Corinne said...

but now it isn't just licorice, but blocks and chocolate, too, that must be eliminated. This is a silly level...

Maureen Clarke said...

Sick of this level. .wheels are not taking any of the licorice out.

Anonymous said...

I finally beat this level after accidentally discovering this. Create a horizontal stripe to the left of one of the unlocked coconut wheels, and then swipe the wheel left. This will create a row of stripes that leads into where the licorice are, and will eliminate one licorice per row. I was able to do this twice, and then the swiping other coconut wheels to the left took care of the chocolate and blocks. -Jacki

First of all I have 15 moves not 20 Cheater King at work again you know even though we're in the upper levels goes not mean we shouldn't have fun playing all levels r 12-15 moves THATS NOT FUN and ends the level quickly King before this app is suppose to be fun not just line their pockets

Anonymous said...

Really can't see a way past this level.

Gus Parry said...

Is it just me OR has this game gone to shit from level 2600 up. more & more levels are pure luck & you have to just wait for a lucky board. a waste of time this game is now CRAP

Jenxx said...

Best advice here was to clear keys then two coloured chocolate bombs together. Did if first time after reading that. Thank you!!

Anonymous said...

I had to play it on IE, which made the licorice go away using the coconut wheel. However, I didn't have enough moves to get enough blockers AND activate the wheels after getting all of the keys. Ended up hitting one of the wheels with a stripe, which triggered a lot of "wrong direction" activity. But I managed to hit the one piece of licorice left with a stripe to kill it. Sheesh.

Anonymous said...

On android coconut wheel does not take put licorice, and also have to collect chocolate & blockers. Insane

Anonymous said...

I found if I hit the coconut wheel with a stripe it would make another stripe aimed sideways to hit the licorice.

Anonymous said...

If you have internet explorer browser on pc, use it to play this game. You can switch the coconut wheel with the colour to right and it clears those black things!!

Stuart Nicholson said...

For people who can't break licorice with the wheels, tell King here: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/have-i-got-a-glitch-on-2673-on-candy-crush-saga

Not an easy one... coconut is useless... hoping the get lucky board!

Tblackmon said...

The coconut wheel doesn't work on the apple products either. Has never taken out that stuff. So now this one is impossible to do. Should be classified as super hard level!!

Anonymous said...

Swiping to the right didn't work for me either. I swiped them to the left to clear blockers for a better chance for combos. Lucked out and got 2 color bombs next to each other and cleared it on my 3rd try.

Thank you, thank you thank you to the person who suggested getting a gift colourbomb for passing an easy level and pairing it with a colour bomb booster. Worked perfectly first time with plenty of goes to spare. On to the next one now!

The coconut wheels don’t do what you say they should so very misleading

Another crazy level, posting for luck.

Wow. I never thought about playing from King.com. Once you go to settings, you can sync your FB account. It totally worked the way Cookie said on king.com. The coconut wheel when turned to the right did collect the licorice!!!

Anonymous said...

The only way I can see this working is to hit the wheels with stripes or wraps, then hope they roll to the right. I got it down to 3 left using that "strategy". I don't know why king thinks playing these levels over and over and over with no success is fun. That's not how the game began, but it's what it's turned into. If I wanted to play a luck game I'd play slots or bingo. Playing less and less now that it is so darn boring.
