Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2701 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2701 is a dual task level, you need to collect the cherry and clear the jelly to complete the level.
First thing is to clear the blockers to get the candies moving, clearing the ones above the portals will get candies into the bottom part of the board so you can clear the jelly and clearing the blockers under the dispenser in the middle top of the board will release stripes which you can use to blast the spawner in the middle.
If you can get the candies dropping both sides fairly quickly you can clear some jelly before you unlock the spawner, but I found it no easier to work that way than to clear the spawner first.
Once the spawner is unlocked it will begin to spawn chocolate which will very quickly take over the bottom half of the board if you don't keep hitting the spawner. For this reason you need to keep making matches under the dispenser to get stripes until the spawner is destroyed, this will also collect the cherry.
Whichever way you play level 2701 you will need some luck to get started, but once the spawner is out of the way it gets a bit easier.

Another dumb luck level I'm afraid. As Cookie says, you need a good start, which is entirely in the lap of the gods, but even more than that, when the stripes start to drop from the dispenser (assuming you've managed to clear the blockers) then they need to be mostly vertical and not mostly sideways. I've just played a turn where I managed to release 8 stripes, of which 7 were sideways, which is pretty much no use whatsoever unless you can switch two together. Guess it's a case (again) of playing until it decides to let you through. Pretty dull to be honest...
Of course, the very next try after posting they all came down vertical and I passed with a move to spare. Don't waste boosters folks. It will let you through when it's ready.
Has anybody got three stars here? I played several time but one star only, every time.

This should be rated as a super hard level! Boosters don't work,most moves are used up removing spinner. Waste of time!

First timer posting here. Currently on level 2736 but wondering what level is best for collecting stripes for Dexter. I've been using 1476, but games are sooo long due to the big cascades. Is there a better level that is quicker and easy to pass? Thanks to you long termers! I admire your tenacity!

Maybe I'm OT, but I was at level 2701 (pc and phone), but one day some weeks ago on my pc I was sent back to 2543. The same when I tried to install candy crush on another telephone. No sugar drops to collect, some times I can play level 2669 (no sugar drops, even when I pass the level). No response from King. Can anyone help me?

This is a very difficult board. The stripe dispenser at the top does not dispense a stripe every time. When it does dispense a stripe it could be a horizontal one, which doesn't help.
It takes many, many, many hits to kill the spawner and due to the layout of the board we are dependent on the top stripe dispenser to give us the ammunition.
Even when the bottom of the board has candies which can make combos there is a 'dead' space under the spawner so we can't hit it with simple 3 candy matches.
I think I'm going to get old before I get past this one.
Do the math on this one folks. We start with 28 moves. Under the top stripe dispenser there are 2 double blockers, then a single blocker, then a caged spawner. On either side there is a blocker that has to be cleared to enable candies to fall into the bottom. We have at this point used a minimum of 8 moves. Connie posted that it takes 6 hits to kill the spawner. Now we've used a minimum of 14 moves. If there weren't other blockers in the top (other than the ones under the dispenser) we might have a hope of making special candies.
This is a case of having to wait for THE Lucky Board where special candies magically appear and the board pretty much clears itself. No skill required. No challenge to a player. Bored beyond belief waiting for that board.

Hit the spawner more than six times. Still there. Again when king sees u don't buy, you pass it. Give up king, haven't spent a cent since I started playing and never will.
