Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2714 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
This level is all about collecting keys, and to do that you need colourbombs.
To begin with it is hard to make colourbombs, but once you have made one it gets a little easier as you are taking a colour away.
Always make sure that if you do get a colourbomb you use it to collect keys, either by clearing a colour containing a key, or switching it with a stripe or a wrap that will clear keys.
You also need to clear the blockers at the bottom to allow the ingredient to drop out of the exits but this is pretty easy compared to collecting the keys.

Again, this video makes this game look so easy. I think it should be classified as a hard level. I've been playing it for days now, and even with the sprinkle bombs from the space ship challenge, I couldn't manage to get it. Does anyone know how many keys need to be destroyed to open up the cherries?
Hard level, no doubt. I guess 4 keys, but not sure yet...
it's more than 4 keys. I've cleared 4 maybe 5, still haven't got it. posting 4 luck. If I win the Powerball tonight I'll just be back to say googbye.

I think this is the worst level so far in this game.

Funny today it was classified as a "super hard level" and I finally passed it. I had to use three lollies but it was worth it.
Hi msnega, how many keys were needed to release the cherries? I've hit 4 keys and still no release but have now used up all my hammers!!!
I'm not sure on the hammers, I think at least six, it might be more. I was so excited to complete the board, I lost count. I had three colorbombs get rid of three. I know I used three lollies also.
Reckon this is gonna be the level that sees me retire from Candy Crush. Took me long enough to get through the last one... and now this.
I've never seen a board come close to being as lucky as the sample video! I feel like I've been stuck on this one for a year!!!! Please change something... I've hit four keys multiple times.... and then it seems as no more falls out!!! PLEASE KING, HELP!!!!!
Am getting nowhere on this level. IF I get both keys (big if), no more fall! Rarely does a sprinkle bomb appear. Pretty sure this level is impossible! Posting for luck.
After years of playing CC the game has changed for the worse.
It's obvious that some levels are created only for the sole purpose of generating sales of boosts. Level 2714 is a prime example of such a level. After 2 weeks of working on this level the I have only managed to get 4 keys. I have no idea how many keys are needed to open the locks?????
The designers of CC have made the game easy, fun and interesting in the early levels. By doing this they gain players. But eventually all players will reach the levels which are IMPOSSIBLE to beat without boosts. And it is in these levels in which King makes huge sums of money! Players seem to justify paying 99 cents for boosts because 99 cents does not seem like much to spend to continue. But they will eventually reach more levels which will require the purchase of more boosts. Many players that have come this far and spent years playing the game find it difficult to quit after investing so much time. It is in this way that King has created a game in which they can inflate their profits.
I for one wish the game would have ended at level 2500. But no, king will keep making levels for as long as players spent their hard earned $$$ buying boosts. F you King! Your game is a scam!!!!!

While I agree with nearly all the comments above, I still do not understand why anyone pays for boosters. There are plenty of ways to get free boosters. Sometimes you just need to take a break from the current level for a day or three and work on getting boosters. You can max out the 180 sugar dots twice a day with little effort. Then go live your life for a while and come back to the current level when you think you've got enough boosters to get through it. Also, don't waste boosters at the beginning of the level. Play until you think you have an actual chance of winning, then use the boosters to get over the top. Sometimes it takes several--or even lots of--tries, but it's better than playing with blind luck.
I dont know if it is 5 or 6, thought I had 5 and video looks like 5 but it didnt work for me.
This level could make me not want to play anymore...I have been trying for days.. and got 4 keys but that didn't work...and 5 didn't come after so many turns
i can only get the original 2 keys out that are locked on the board to start. Doesn't matter what I do, no more appear. What's the trick to getting more to drop?
Not only have I never seen more than 4 keys this level is boring to play. Some nearly impossible levels have lots going on and are fun, this one a total bore.
Is this a joke? I just keep making random matches that do nothing to help solve the game. Have only been able to get two keys and can't get anymore to drop. I'm done.

On the pc this is classified as super hard, which it is. In the video it only shows 4 keys to hit and it seems easy there to make balls on that restricted board. I find that pretty hard to do. Using boosters don't seem to help much unless you have lots of them.

This level is impossible. Don't waste your money on boosters because they won't help you. If you choose a sprinkle ball, you only get one. That does little for you. If you use lollipops, you need about 14. The restricted board makes it very difficult to make stripes, let alone sprinkle balls! Why did they even bother with the cream blockers at the bottom. If you can't get the keys, you cant' even get the cherries out. I have seen so may difficult levels, including the last one which was nearly impossible. I was only able to complete it when it came out on Iphone and I could use magic dash or helmet or whatever it is called. Can't even win using those with this level. Seriously? This is supposed to be fun????
Its an ingredients level so why no coconut wheel booster? Fish booster goes nowhere near the keys. King are having a laugh
Ok, but let's stop moaning and be constructive.
I noticed that skill gamings video started with two keys the same colour, and somehow managed to get a CB and a packet to get off to a pretty good start.
I used Magic Dash and a CB booster, and reset the board to try and recreate that.
Instead I got 2 CB together, and that plus subsequent cascades was pretty useful.
Carried on till the blockers were clear, and one key left which I hit with a 🔨.
Moving on. No money paid . . .
Looks like Martin found the answer, otherwise it's back to dumb luck for this one. Thanks Martin, will give it a go when I've got some lives to use.
I had the space dash helmet so put two color bombs together to open board and even used two hammers to get two of the keys, but there is clearly a flaw here. I had many moves left and another key never dropped. I know I wiped out four. Is there anyone who has passed who can tell us frustrated crushers how many there are and if there's a trick to get more to drop??
I'm not finding this fun anymore and like so many other players I'm thinking this just might be it!
Ok, I went back and built my space dash again. I reset till the first two keys were the same color and then hit them with a color bomb. The secret to this level is that there are actually six keys( I took one for the team using hammers to knock them out one by one if I didn't have a move) after 5 keys gone and the cherries were still not released I knew there was at least one more key. I didn't have a move that would change the candy under either dispenser so I hit one candy with another hammer and sure e nought the last key dropped and the cherries were exposed.
The secret here is to release the first two early and then make sure you are clearing under the dispensers till you have all six.
May come back some day to see if I can do without boosters but I'm am soooo done for now.

This level is impossible. I can only get four keys. Why don't we have the coconut wheel as the fish booster is useless on this level. I am so done with these frustrating and boring levels.
Very hard level...can't get close. Quite boring...ready to give up. Help please.
CC has become a contest, not to see how easily you can pass each level, but how FEW BOOSTERS you need to pass. On this very frustrating level, suck it up at the very beginning and smash the keys with hammers. You will also have to smash the candy below each key position so the next one can drop. Do it early. You will then have enough moves to clear the blockers at the bottom. Then go on with your life.
I would like to keep playing...but the fun is taking away for impossible levels... why CC?

Wow, this one really sucks. I know it's possible to do it without boosters, but it will take many turns and a ridiculous amount of luck. I'm really wondering whether I can be bothered...
Use all Helmet set up plus extra speckle booster. Have at least 2 switch boosters and 3 hammers before trying. Reset until both keys are the same color. Use speckle to unlock keys. Use next speckle to remove the matching color keys. Do some clearing of blockers with stripes. If no key appears, use a hammer under release port. Use last speckle on that or with another stripe to get it. Keep at it, using switches and last two hammers if needed. I got it second try this way.
People. How long have you been crushing? You hit the key dispensers to get more keys to drop. That's how. This level is crazy awful, it is a must that the 2 keys showing are the same color as you start. Keep resetting until that happens, then go for it. It will require boosters. It will require time. It may require swearing. (I think that helps me). But it can be done. - hbk

Thanks to Martin and Bobby, started with Dash CBS and booster CB, then 2 hammers to hit keys (plus got vertical to hit last key and easy from there to finish with 3 stars and 7 moves left. Get by with a little help from my friends ☺
Reset til candy under both keys were same color and chocolate sprinkle was beside wrap of also same color. That got rid of 1st two keys. Then used three lollipop hammers and managed to make two more chocolate sprinkles. This combined with some smart playing did the trick. Awful level.
I also have never paid for any boosters. I play for the sugar drops twice a day when I'm able to. This level definitely requires boosters. I played many many games before I decided that from the getgo, I was going to pass. Started with all three boosters, then used hammers on the keys. You have to hit the colour under the dispenser to get another key. Used a lot of hammers. Was able to finish by making matches on top to get the cherries down. This is one of the hardest levels I have come across. I don't think I've ever used as many boosters in any other level, but I was not going to play this level forever! On I go. Good luck everyone!
Yet another stupid boring level :( Played and played and played not even getting the keys most games. Please King update and make some chages to this level. At the moment it really sucks

This can be done without boosters. I made a chocolate ball and it landed by a stripe candy. Fortunately there were many of this colour so there was a lot of action going on when I hit them together but when it was done, all the required keys had been hit and the 9 cherries appeared. I had about 27 moves left to clear the cream etc below them. This is probably one of the most difficult levels I've played so it feels great to have done it with no boosters. A chocolate ball and a stripe together seem to be what works.

Won game by using last 4 hammers. Showed I won game but now won't let me play next level.

Well, this is my farewell post. I won't be back. I checked out the link above re the estimated earnings. Two million dollars a day for Candy Crush alone and then here are the other King games ! They have the golden goose and are milking it for all its worth. I also checked out the posts for the levels after this one - more of the same for at least 5 more levels before there was a positive comment saying it was an enjoyable level. I am posting this and then plan to delete the app before I change my mind. I'm sure I will survive and will probably rediscover the joys of a good book. Farewell and good luck.

Finally beat this horrible level without boosters! The key is Sprinkle with Stripe. Was able to set up two that took out all the keys. Don't give up!

Certainly the last 100 levels have taken a dramatic turn toward impossible. I spent money in this 15 level group and won't be spending any more.

Horrendous. Played for days and cannot collect more than 2 keys, and cant make combos to hit them. Having come this far i dont want to give the game up but this level is totally dreadful.

Well I just burned thru 67 lives and have yet to collect all the keys.
This level is BS
To those who appear to believe King is the same King that developed this game, I'm afraid you're incorrect. King went public (on the stock market), and soon after that King sold out (about 2 years ago), to an American gaming company. Many designers, who been granted stock options after going public collected their gifted shares/stock as permitted according to stock exchange rules (about 9 months after King went public), and they left the company. After King had gone public they were taken over by the American company, whose name I forget.
The American company at that time designed totally different kinds of games to Candy Crush but they wanted to profit from the huge revenue that King was making a that time. Then many more of Kings original developers left the company after the buy out. I believe that is why we see a totally different design on these levels. Yes it's all about money and as always, never forget... the Dollar is King....so to speak! Greed has ruined this game.

I love a hard level that requires some degree of skill but this level is just ridiculous and relies solely on luck! Even when you clear a key you have to waste another CB to clear a colour to get another key to drop! I reckon 100 moves is needed to clear this level. I'm finally done!!
I love Ms. Cookie's site! After reading some tips in between complains (understandable;) I gained some hope in beating this horrible level now. I think I will re-set till two keys are the same color first. Then hope for the lucky board.

Bravo. I stopped playing a few days ago because of this level and because I found myself throwing a few dollars at too many levels. I am just checking the comments here for kicks. I am done playing as well. I feel liberated actually.
Was so lucky with colorbombs together twice. But still, took away 5 keys and still stuck. This is hopeless, no challenge anymore, boring.
Therein lies the addiction. I came this far as well but am done playing. You have to stop sometime and this level was it for me.
Well here I was just playing along collecting sugar drops and waiting for the lucky board when the board changed. An extra row was added to each of the lower sides. Beat it right away.

You were right. New configuration and started with a colorbomb and passed it on first go. They may have also cut the keys needed. Not sure.
Passed this level but haven't realized any changes on his difficult level. I got a lucky board because I've made many colorbomb+stripped combos (I think I got around 3 combos). Keep the faith and once you will pass.
OK, throw everything you have got at it CB Fish coconut wheel and stripe wrap from earned boosters - Bingo!
I'm not actually too sure how I passed this. Took several attempt, but must have got a lucky board. . Try and get chocolate bombs either next to a stripe or wrap of the same colour as one of the keys. I managed both . And that took out the keys releasing the cherries. What I didn't realise was that even once the cherries are freed two fell over a column that blocked their exit. I have no hand swaps or hammers left but still had 12 moves to get them out. Managed to move them back over an exit column but still needed 3 extra moves to get the last one out. Won those on the wheel. L job done . Good luck, it's not a very pleasant or enjoyable level.
Initially I restarted till I Chad same color keys to MN Atchison CB I started with..no go..then I added a color bomb wrap as well and CB next to the stripe! Took one key out but CB fell took out next key. Made a CB again that dropped next to another stripe and by this stage answer only a handful of moves in had this done. Perhaps I got lucky but starting with the boosters definitely helped

Not sure how I passed this either been on this level so long and not really concentrating then realised all 9 cherries were free and I stilll had 16 moves to drop them through!
Just went back and looked at this level to see if anything has changed. I had contacted King regarding the fact that this is an ingredient level so we should have the option of using a Coconut wheel because a Fish is of no benefit. Still haven't heard from them. But, I see they did add two more rows of candies making it easier to make stripes, wraps etc.. I played it again and passed it 1st try with no boosters.

IMPMOSSIBLE! I wasted 4 hammers on candy below the key dispenser only to have no keys fall! Can use wheels on PC but they're always placed in useless positions and/or don't get another after the first one. Same with sprinkle ball--placed in upper corner next to locked key!
They've changed this level to make it easier.Had been stuck on it for days but passed this morning first try.Well shocked!!!Hurray! :)

I got lucky board so i can win this level. I start with same color key and color bomb and luckyly i got another color bomb.. so i can get rid 2 keys easily.. and then i get lucky again to get cb with stripe.. and it clear another 2 keys and blocker below the fruit. And another lucky because i get another cb and same color key.. so i can use it to open the fruit.. and i win this level with SUPER LUCK.

Tired of impossible levels! Having to wait for lucky boards!!! Making color bombs on a limited board is impossible!! I feel like I am being forced to buy boosters!!

I used 3 color bombs to start. Two from space dash and one of my boosters. Just used them individually and had a stripe wrap combo that unlocked the licorice from one of the keys before I took the key. I must admit I had a bit more f a lucky board too. Got all the cherries unlocked then just had to get rid of the blockers.

SUPER BORING LEVEL is more like it! One more level to hit the quit button because just switching candies and nothing happens is a snore. I even got an hour of free play but screw it. No fun anymore.
I got this second go with no boosters except for a hammer at the end. I just concentrated on making combinations right at the bottom which took out the blockers and the keys at the same time. All I needed was a hammer to knock one out and they all the cherries fell out. Joh

KING is loosing it! They have forgotten why they developed this game I guess! No fun, only bullying. That's their business today. They only want to collect money by making the levels very very hard eevn impossible sometimes! We call it mismanagement!!!!
FINALLY!!! And with no boosters! I think this was the longest I've ever been stuck on one level. I can't really offer any tips, I just got really lucky with lots of color bombs forming, some of them next to stripes.

How the F#**k are you supposed to pass this when after the first 2 keys the others dont even fall down. So over your stupid impossible levels.

Thanks for your support, made me a little more positive (still think 6 keys plus the first 2 locked is ridiculous and mainly depending on luck, because the board is restricted and only the very left and right side important to hit)... But I must admit, the view of "how to get a CB" has improved..
Had this THREE TIMES in a game (accidentally, not with boosters) and often the keys were NOT hit 😕 failed, because I could not hit all 6 keys...

For anyone still struggling with this level or getting frustrated with CC in general, I have some good news. If you can get past this and the next level, the next episode and a half (at least) are much more enjoyable and doable.
This level is absolutely ridiculous. I'm on the verge of quittin the game altogether as these 'blocker' levels are becoming all too frequent. It's supposed to be a fun game and this is no fun anymore. Sort it out CC developers. You're putting people off playing the game.

It's a different layout on my iPad to my laptop - much easier on my iPad as the keys will drop down on to the main board when you clear candies underneath the keys.
probably luck, but I've passed this on first go. I managed to make 2 colour bombs that freed up the first two locked keys. the rest were collected easily when cascading. Then I made a few stripes from the top and a stripe and wrap combo to get rid of all the icing blockers. For once I was lucky!

La verdad es que he tenido suerte, he comenzado con un colourbomb que he utilizado para recoger las dos primeras llaves' además como las dos eran del mismo color pues todo ha comenzado bien. Las otras cuatro llaves han caÃdo donde no era difÃcil recogerlas. Los bloqueadores de abajo he tenido suerte de poder juntar un colourbomb con un caramelo envuelto del mismo color que varias gelatinas de las de abajo.😃😋

What is this....this supposed to be an easy level. I played for many times but still no luck. This level sucks major.
Only 18 moves, keys set-up is different, but got it after a few tries. Definitely not easy, but please stop whining!

I had tried this level a few times and got close even though I had depleted my space dash boosters. Had to take a break when I ran out of lives. Before I restarted I came here to see if there were any methods that I wasn't aware of. I was planning on continuing on without boosters but after reading all the negative comments I decided the heck with it let's get it done. Loaded up the space dash and added another sprinkle bomb. Picked the most isolated sprinkle bomb to start and matched it with a candy of the color of one of the locked keys. I chose it thinking that it would be least disruptive of the rest of the board. Didn't want to lose the other two sprinkle bombs. Instead, a cascade broke out and cleared all the keys. One move later I had a combo above the cherries that cleared one path. Finished up with 12 moves to go. So, lucky boards do happen and well timed boosters sure help.
I passed the second time I played, I am so happy,
