Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2717 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2717 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to clear the jelly and collect the two cherries which are held back by the cake bombs.
The secret to passing this level is to clear the cakes, this will allow the cherries to drop out of the exits and leave you with just a few jellies to finish off.
This is easier said than done however, as, although you do get quite a few stripes dropping from the dispensers at the top they are often vertical stripes which are only helpful if switched with something else to make a combo.
Look for colourbombs to switch with stripes and even a double colourbomb combo is useful as it will clear quite a few cake sections.
Make sure you clear the bottom cake before you clear the top two as the cherry may drop onto the conveyor if the bottom cake is still in place when the others are cleared. The bottom cake is the easiest to clear so shouldn't cause a problem.

Same here. Top cakes are hard to get to. By the time I manage to clear all the cakes, I've got no more moves left to clear the jelly underneath.
Finally passed it using 2 hammers after seeing that I cleared all the cakes but had 4 jellies left with 2 moves. Used stripe to do 2 jellies then 2 hammers for the last 2 jellies. Bleh.

I've cleared all the Jelly but my fruit ended up on the conveyer with no way to get it off, days to get this far, OMG, what is the trick.

Seriously??!! I clear the cakes,and the cherry lands on the conveyor!! How does one get it off? With 15 moves left, no way can it be moved from the conveyor!! Unless you have a dozen hand switches! Please fix!! Unless the plan is to have another tedious level!

I actually enjoyed this game because there was so much action with lots of stripes, wraps and color bombs easy to get. It did take some patience and skill, waiting to see there were plenty of same color lined up with the cakes before switching a cb with a stripe or waiting for the stripe to move on the conveyor belt until it was under the cake before setting it off. All these plus probably a lucky board. I felt helpless at the end when I had no more boosters, 3 squares to go and only 1 move, but there was so much action, a cb settled next to a wrap, and that finished the game.
5 times now the left fruit has fallen to the conveyor belt with no hope. Playing on PC (don't have the problem on Android). I hear about the fish booster being the answer but either this is a bug or I need to wait for the CC gods to smile on me with a lucky board.
Only happens on the left side (after the last cake bomb is cleared - one candy slides in above the far left exit and deflects the fruit to the conveyor belt). No booster (unless I wait to get like 4 hand switches) can help.
Anyone else get past this problem?
Might have solved my own problem - I cleared the top cake bomb so the cherries only had to drop 2 levels and the next time I played it worked - finished with no boosters required. A bit of a lucky board to get horizontal stipes and wrap/stripe combo near the top.
Anyway, onward.
My board is different from the one shown here. The left and right fields are not completely separated from the middle field, so that sometimes the cherries, when falling down, are not falling straight down to the exit, but end up at the bottom of the game and then you are unable to do anything else with them and the game is lost. Anyone recognising this?
Making colourbombs is not a problem but they keep detonating before I get a chance to match them, also lose all combos when cakes are detonated, very difficult to clear top cakes with limited number of moves, not been at it long so will persevere hoping for lucky board before too long
Few more tries, came close a couple of times, cracked it using fish booster.

Me ha costado un poco pero al final con un poco de paciencia... he comenzado con un caramelo a rayas/envuelto y una colourbomb, después he ido haciendo combinaciones para que en la parte inferior no me quedasen demasiados bloqueadores que me impidiesen avanzar. supongo que tambien he tenido suerte de poder hacer combinaciones en la parte superior.
3 estrellas, contenta de haber superado el nivel.

Me too! No solutions posted, no help from King. This just might be the last straw! Ugh!
Do any of you even read the help and comment by Ms Cookie. She just told you, make sure you clear the bottom cake first so that your fruit doesn't drop down and around and fall on to the conveyor. Sheesh! Pay attention. Once your fruit is on the conveyor you are basically stuffed, so might as well exit and start again.
it is not the bottom left cake that needs to be removed first but the top one to stop the left cherry bouncing away from the exits onto the conveyor belt during its long decent. First remove the top cake and then the cherry lowers down gradually.

Cookie's advice about clearing the bottom cake so the fruit doesn't fall onto the conveyor is bogus. I've cleared the bottom cakes and had only the top one on the left to go. Cleared it and the cherry still drops onto the conveyor. This has happened 7 times now. So, to the person commenting about paying attention to Cookie's advice...shut up. You're ignorance is showing. Go play in someone else's yard.
Finally got the key to making the left side cherry drop correctly from a different site. You have to clear the top and bottom left side cakes, but LEAVE the middle one for last. It's tricky to do & I just lucked out with a board that virtually did it for me. The cherry will drop to the top of the middle cake and then, when you clear that middle one last, the cherry will make a clean exit. Done!
Cookie says the bottom cakes are the easiest to clear! Cookie, the bottom cakes are the ONLY ones you can clear. I need a lucky board please.
I love the fireworks levels and this one is one of them! I can't very well get involved in the conveyer debate be cause, in my eagerness to get the cakes demolished, I didnt even see where the cherry went! But I agree that it's better to take every opportunity to hit the top two cakes because they're far more difficult to hit with horizontal stripes than the bottom cakes.
Another 4 day bullshit no skill level. For fuck sake! At least make it doable

Good luck trying to get stripes to fall, I get bombs!! And when you do they cascade down. It's easy to get the bottom 4 cakes, the top ones are impossible. Very hard level....plus i had a sprinkled ball i had won 2 hours and still can't win this awful level.

The fish booster helped a lot. On the last move I was able to combine a stripe/fish and they took care of the last few jelly. Tough level. Good luck!
