Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2789 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2789 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives at least before you manage to pass it.
From the start you should try to make moves close to the bottom of the board possible.
It is so important that you get the candies moving in the bottom part of the board that it is worth backing out and restarting if you can't make a move near the bottom to start cascades going.

You will need to clear the marmalade from the candies each side so you get candies dropping to the bottom of the board too.
Once you have started to clear the board it is imperative you make special candies and combos as you don't have nearly enough moves to clear the jelly without doing this.
Colourbomb/wrap combos are probably the best but any combo is better than a simple match of three.

Meine Güte, war das ein furchtbares Level: auf dem PC ca.30 Versuche, mit und ohne Booster, es gab keine Chance....auf dem Handy ging wie üblich garnix, da immer noch keine Level freigeschaltet sind...einfach nur saublöd und macht absolut keinen Spass mehr!!!:(:(:( Auch am PC ist IMMER NOCH MEIN GLÜCKSRAD WEG!!! yes, just 45 seconds, also the candies fall very slowly! This is especially annoying when you hit a special candy with a sprinkle ball, by the time it hits its targets and the rest of them fall into place, well, the time has gone!
the xtra time doesn't come down - no matter what combo or cascade I do... :-( This needs fixing!!!!!!! And give us more time. We need those 70 seconds like on the video please!!
I think King doesn't want us to clear levels fast so that they dont have to release newer levels faster. Last few levels have been terrible. First of all timed levels are annoying and on top of it clear jellies in 45 seconds!! Worst part is the levels are not updated on my android and firetab and it's a pain to play on the computer!! Hating candy crush offlate!!
I cant believe I just cleared this level!! Had magic dash and used one hammer with just 3 seconds remaning. Got so close with 2-3 jellies remaining previously and was so frustrated! I guess waiting for the lucky board is the only way! CB+CB also wont work otherwise..
At last, an easy time level.
The extra time candies helped.
First time level in this episod that I managed to complete on my first go.
Look to create CB and use them immediately, it help to create more CB and cause cascades for extra time candies..
Been nice not having timed levels, whose great idea was it to bring them back?? So not fun.
I agree about not having missed the timed levels at all, I'm usually rubbish at them, but again, using the Space Dash, I easily got this level first try.

Why have timed levels returned; nobody likes them. It just seems to be one bad level after another, what’s happened to the fun levels ?
I had enjoyed playing cc recently without the timed levels. I had threatened to quit cc before because of the timed levels. I’m 71 and cc
is, or was, my pass time. NO MORE. Too stressful.
Got to within 4 jellies on 2nd go. Hopefully won't take too long, but there's a distinct lack of extra time candies...

Got this level on the first try using the Flash version on Internet Explorer. I believe the clock said 1:10 when it started. I did not need boosters, and wrap-stripe combos were useful in taking out the central candy and the jelly underneath.

This level is actually giving me issues.. driving me nuts manically trying to match candies... giving up until I have either more patience or the will to delete the game. This one is too much for me and I (along with others here) have stayed through the rest of the crap levels.
There is no difference between this level and level 2784. They are both ridiculous! It took me days to complete 2784 and now here comes 2789 another timed level that is impossible to get with 60 seconds. Could you just please stop creating timed levels!!!! I hate them!!

Again another impossible level!! There's only 45 seconds, not 90!! Cascades slow the progression, & hardly any extra time candies!! This level can only be completed if you buy extra time!! You have to buy gold bars to pass!! Must be why the king offer is to BUY a piggy bank filled with gold bricks for $2.99!! Not a coincidence!!!

I am not going to get this one unless I get a really lucky board. 45 seconds is not enough, cascades eat up the time, and not enough extra time candies fall. Frustrating.
Played 2 easy levels to get to stage 2 of the space dash. Added a sprinkle and fish booster. Just destroyed what I could, and the cascades got the rest. Had enough of messing about with this one.

Three days on this level, collecting free boosters with space dash, still can't complete this level!! 45 seconds is not enough time!! But king knows This! That's why they are selling a piggy bank filled with gold bricks for $2.99! To buy extra time for this level! Don't get free gold bars! What a joke!! Time to find a different game!!
Get to 1 jelly left and the cascade takes longer than the timer, stupid game

People complain about the levels, but keep on playing. And apparently enough players pay for boosters and time to make it worth King's while to keep turning them out. They'll stop when they are no longer making any money. I'm curious to know how many of us are still playing the game at this point.
Impossible with only 45 secs. So over the discrimination. King dont give a shit about there loyal players. I emailed them about the discrepancy. They didn't eant to know about it. So over King ;(
Not doable with only 45 seconds and in that 45 seconds was only one +5 candy. Then if you manage to get cascades going by the time it stops your 45 secs is gone.
Don't you hate it when you go to touch 'give up' but touch 'buy extra time' by mistake when you have no chance of winning!! 15 gold bars wasted😠 not done that for a long time.

What's the story with the +5 candies? First time I played this level there were plenty, barely seen 1 since then.

Pure luck with only 45 seconds. No time for any skillful play. At least it doesn't take long to lose 5 lives so I'm not wasting too much of my time with this silly game!
I think I will stay here forever. Timelevels are very hard for me, but this is redicolous. I collect all the free boosters and then start playing, but after 45seconds there are 20 or 18 left. So I need luck or I will have to stay here.

For me, the fish booster was the key. Tried over 20x with no boosters - got down to the 1 jelly in the middle but didn't have 3 hammers. The fish came at least 4 times (not always the case) and took out the middle. Made couple of wraps which seemed to coax the time jellies out which helped.
The extra time candies don’t fall like they do on theirs and it takes all the time up waiting for the board to stop. Impossible!

Not sure how to pass this one might have to quit for a while as find time levels very stressy and don't need that just before Christmas, reckon to pass it you need a ton of colour bombs
You guys are killing this game for us. These timed levels are stupid, and a waste of lives. Never enough time to do them and takes your time away by cascading. I was hoping these timed levels would never come back but once again, you designers are a disappointment.I guess this might be the end of the road for slot of us.

Sooooooooo not fun anymore and I am sick and Tired of cc changing the levels.... on the video you have 1m 10 sec. for us its 45 sec. plus you loose time when all the cascades are happening.... not fare what is wrong with you people at cc..... sick and tired.....

After 3+ weeks on level 2789, only coming close (if you call having 4 left close) once. Enjoyed the game up to now, this level very frustrating. I have decided to delete Candy Crush from my devices, good bye cruel King.

I do not understand this. I am not even Close to fix. And if I finally get a Cascade then the time just runs and runs and is finished Before anything could be done. There must be something that is not correct here.

Time for a long break from King. This level is so incredibly boring! I have over 100 lives built up from friends but no desire to spend all that time for this impossible little level. CC Soda is just as bad - levels there leave you stuck for weeks on end. Sorry, King - my friends won’t be playing as much either as I won’t be sending them lives.
First time I’m seriously thinking of deleting this game. I HATE timed levels, too stressful for someone with bad heart! King is trying to make money with these levels but even with great cascades, i don’t get extra timed candies. Something is wrong with this level. King, are you listening?
Wondering what King is up to with this level. Are they trying to shake off players? I can’t see anyother reason for a level this impossible. Boosters are useless so it cannot be designed to get us to buy them. Playing a minimum of games each day on the off chance of getting a lucky board. If one doesn’t come in a reasonable amount of time this may be it for me.

Can anyone please tell me if the "restart" button on their mobile device still allows you to reset the game without losing a life? I've been able to do that until today!!! Wondering if it's just me or if they suddenly changed this? I was hoping to reset to get 2 color bombs next to each other and see if that would help but today it says you lose a life if you quit!! UGH!!! This may be the end of the road for me. Good luck, crushers. :(
Unfortunately, restart does not work on timed levels.
However, on my Android, if I have boosters I want to keep (like Mort's Magic Helmet, etc.), when I get the "Time's Up!" screen I just close out the app and reopen it. The life is lost, alas, but I'm still styling in my Magic Helmet! Now if I could track down a spear...

I passed with the pair of color bombs from Space Dash. They appeared next to one another on a miraculously lucky board... Combining them opened the cascades, which encouraged +5 candies to practically litter the board. I kept my eye on the jellies and kept paring them down, and that was it.
I am also profoundly grateful to the posting for luck phenomena. I passed this wretched level right after having posted a reply to someone here. Woohoo!!

Today when I played, it had changed to 15 moves to eliminate over 30 jellies. At first I was playing as fast as I could and it really messed with my morning brain. Was this a glitch?

Not a timed level, king must have changed it. Pretty hard to get 60 jellies in 15 moves but I will try. The game will let me through when it’s ready! I might get bored though. One of those levels with no tips unfortunately.

Tricky! My advice is to break marmalade at both sides asap. Then take every opportunity to make special candies, anywhere, but especially at the bottom. Don't waste a move on a match3 at the top, cascades you make at the bottom will get those blockers. I got several CBs through cascades, still used a hammer, but...it IS very tricky. (Don't forget about the central blocker!) Wrap/stripe, CB/stripe all good.
It seems as though commenters are playing two different levels. Mine doesn't have timed play, but definitely has too few moves to get all the jellies. And I find it insulting to be told I need to get special combos or create a cascade. Every player who has reached this level knows to do that. I don't consider that to be a valid tip or trick. If we have to just wait for a lucky board, just say it and admit there is no trick to beating this level.

Wasted a space ship on this. When you get to the position of using one of those it’s because it’s a cert it will work. Surprise surprise - not with this rigged level.
I won’t be wasting boosters on this level again. I probably won’t be wasting time either.
