Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2814 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2814 is the first really hard level in this episode. You have to collect 30 stripes in only 20 moves to complete the level.
As you can work out the numbers just don't add up, it is impossible to make enough stripes in the moves available so you will need to make at lease one colourbomb/stripe combo to have any chance of completing the level.
Stripes are easy to make, as are colourbombs, but getting them together is the tricky part.
Don't waste moves collecting the keys, they will unlock stripes in the bottom section, but these won't help very much without your combos. The keys will be collected as you play.
If you can't get a stripe next to a colourbomb straight away don't waste too many moves, use the colourbomb on a single colour, especially if there are stripes of that colour. This will give you a chance to make another colourbomb and try again. Avoid making wraps if possible, you don't need them and they are likely to self destruct and spoil any plans you have made.

Seems it would be easy if you had a speckle booster to combine with spaceship booster, but I do not. check mark gives one useful stripe; one more check comes very near the end.
I'm struggling with this level. I've found that ignoring the keys like Cookie says doesn't help me at all. I have better luck if I get them as fast as I can. I've combined chocolate sprinkles with wrap candies but I can't get anywhere close.
I used the check marks and color bombs still no luck....not even close. UGH!
This is a level where you need to be INCREDIBLY LUCKY....the best I can do right now is to still have 20 stripes left.....are you kidding me???....if this is the best, then maybe my best isn't good enough....things have better turn around or I can see this getting old real fast
This level appears to have no rhyme or reason, just a matter of luck, I guess. I tend to believe one needs to use extra moves to get anywhere close to collecting the stripes needed.
Anyway, does anyone else know what the "special" is? I have a different "frame" around my avatar with numbers on it. Some friends have their avatar (picture) framed with a wrapped candy. I can't find where it's explained. I'd love to know.
Mrs. M: the frame around your avatar changes as you advance levels. The more you play, the higher level you reach. Usually when you level up a screen will pop up saying you went up a level and you get 5 free lives. The number on the frame is your level
Thank you so much Tammy. I can't figure out why some people have different frames, though. Mine really hasn't changed much, and I'm only behind ONE friend. The others (the ones that have the wrapped candy frame, are several levels behind me. Oh well, it's stupid. ;)
Anyway, I think I figured out a trick. Try to get vertical stripes above the section where the stripes are dispensed. If you hit them with a vertical they all count. I was able to do that a few times and it worked. I did have to use gold bars to add more moves, though. :(

I've been playing this level for 3 days and I haven't even come close......come on Candy Crush either give us more moves or less stripes. And yes I posted 3 days ago.....I guess I need a real lucky board.

started with strip and sprinkle. didn't worry about the keys and finished with extra moves.

Made three chocolate sprinkle/stripe combos. First try, three stars with 14 moves left.

Reset until the colour bomb and stripe were together. After the first move, I needed 20 stripes. Great tip about shooting a stripe above the dispenser. Finished first try with 15 moves left! Good luck everyone!
Just got it with 10 moves left .Van5 method works well
Nice easy one with no boosters. Try to concentrate on making a colourbomb and getting a stripe next to it. Get that combo and you're most of the way there. Of course, if you're Rick then you'll gather a full spaceship, mess about resetting until the stripe is next to the CB and pass it 1st time.
Fun level, it wasn't too hard. I concentrated on making stripes and hitting the stripes in the box for a domino effect. No boosters used.

Impossible to beat this level......
It wasn't difficult enough yesterday, so they added a layer of marmalade on all of the many blockers making shooting the stripes down in a timely manner near impossible. The keys are now a must have with the same number of moves. Diane from San Diego

They have nerfed the level on Android. You now get 25 moves (instead of 14) and you only have to collect 20 stripes (instead of 30).
I won this level but when I went back in my position had not changed! Grrr... help!
