Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2908 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2908 in a super hard level, even though at the time of writing it is not marked as such.
You have to collect three cherries as well as clear all the jelly in only 20 moves.
If you want to pass this without boosters you will need lots of luck and patience as it will not be done without some of both.
First you have to collect the keys from the top part of the board to release the candies in the middle section, at the same time you should be clearing as much jelly as you can as well as the blockers on each side.
A double colourbomb combo will go a long way to clearing most of the blockers if you can make one.
There are two videos below, one using some boosters and one without, although I suspect the one without boosters could have been set up using hands or hammers before the start as it does not show the start of the game.
Don't forget about the cherries while you are clearing jelly.

How do you get the cherries to drop. Still have 2 left and tgere is a glitch in this game. This is one of the worse with no help
Moves in lower left drop cherries from upper right and vice versa. Moves under left side of upper center drop cherry on right and move under right of center drop cherry on left.
My problem is all my boosters just disappeared. When i started playing from level 2900. What's with that? ??
So I tried to pass without boosters like a good little boy but no go. So I went back to a level I could gather up 2 color bombs stripes and bombs, then I added another bomb/stripe booster along with the fish and restarted until color bombs were side by side. That got the ball rolling but i still needed to use the paint brush. Voila.
Frustrating level!!! Help!!
i spend alot of booster but not even close once i finish use up all my booster i will quit this game too frustrated !

Agreed, this level is quit worthy. I had the 3rd tier helmet, and used all 3 boosters, AND kept restarting until I had 2 color bombs side by side (did this MULTIPLE times) and still NEVER came close.
I was planning on retiring from this game after level 3000 anyway, looks like I might be forced in to early retirement.
Thanks to Cookie and all the players who have given helpful hints. I cannot remember how long I have been playing Candy Crush, but I am not going to play any more. While I realize there was an element of luck at all levels, it was fun to play and develop strategies to win. These last levels depend on so many boosters, that it is not fun. I did occasionallly spend money, partly because I thought the game developers deserved payment. I would not spend the amount for the gold bars in the piggy bank. Thanks again.
This level takes the prize for the stupidest level ever. I am really tired of levels that you don't have a prayer of passing without boosters and $, neither of which I have. Guess I'm done. Thanks King for forcing me to give up a game I have played for a long time.

I agree will you all. I think It should be challenging, but still be fun. It’s a game. And I get that they need to be paid for boosters. Just keep it fun not frustrating please King, people would be more apt to buy your boosters if they are happy :)
i give up ! stuck for so many days and now i have loading issued.
My way was: start with colorbomb/wrap combo and after some moves the party booster. 6 moves left
i wasted like more than 30 booster to start with chocolate sprinkle, candy wrap, fish and not even close to clear 50% of the jelly ! WTF ! Beside stuck and waiting for lucky board i dont know what else i can do. useless stupid level
So I’m not the only one who is frustrated at this level. I use to play without any boosters till I get stuck too long. But now I start playing knowing I won’t be able to win without a helmet. Sigh. I know we all will beat this level eventually as we always do. But man oh man.
This definitely calls for a lucky board. So close many times. Need help
My party booster is blocked. I think they could at least let us spending gold bars to buy this booster. Very boring level...

This is so ridiculous can’t get a break! Pretty boring staying on the same game for days. Tired of it already, time to go CC. There’s lots of other great games out there.

What does the party booster do?
Hits everything on the board once resp. hits one layer (eg blockers or jelly) plus after this you get all boosters on the board and I think they start immediately (stripe, fish, wrap, sprinkle). Normally you should win then. But it's a present of CC resp. the first times just a present, last time you could win an (easy) bonus level to get it. At least on my mobile (android). Looks like 🎉 and when you hit it, it starts immediately. You cannot buy it
Not nearly enough moves to get close. Need to build up boosters I guess or get the lucky board.
stuck for a week no hope thinking to quit this game ! frustrated
After 2-1/2 days of playing with no boosters and coming close a few times I finally passed this level. The daily spin and the reward for going each day gave me one each of the boosters and 3 hammers. I reset the game until the sprinkle ball was beside the stripe and that cleared out a lot of the squares. After that I carefully made moves that took out the most cream covering. I still had to use my 3 hammers on my last move to pass this level. I have now passed the next 2 levels on first tries so this level makes the rest seem easier! I never thought that I would get out of 2809!
Finally got a lucky board after playing for 3 days and thinking it's an impossible level,perhaps time to have a break. All the cherries went down and I managed to finish off the last few jellies really carefully using 2 hands and 3 hammers!Thankgoodness,driving me crazy. Onwards crushers! MB.
In the constellation as per today probably no chance without help of boosters. First, used up all my boosters. Then tried without boosters. Finally 1 day later space dash came along hooray (little hack: If you see you cannot win, restart your mobile and the space dash is not lost (at least on android)). Had to play full space dash even 5 times (!!) until I could make this level. Crucial are the top blockers left and right in the bottom field!! 3 layers cream plus 2 layers jelly - so if you have removed those you probably will win. Don't care too much about the top, because especially the columns on the right and left have to be considered but are doable due to the belt. Important is (as many crushers said) to start with sprinkle and stripe in order to clean the keys early and maybe hit those crucial blockers. BTW... Won with 2 moves left and still only got 2 stars. Not that I care, but I wonder if there is one person on earth getting 3 stars here.

Followed advice and had helmet, added a CB booster and reset until the two CBs were side by side, added a fish booster which enabled me to finish first try with moves to spare. Glad this one is over.
Even though I have been stuck for 2 days, I kinda like this level. But still posting for luck... Just need a few more moves to clear this one without boosters... Overall I think that King had reduced the moves in every level. It makes the fun part disappear. Sad...

I tried without boosters at first but just couldn’t get it,
So I used a choc.bomb wrap stripe and my fish,
On this play and passed it with no problem, the fish really helped at the end and choc plus stripe really helped to
I played about 15 times before bringing in the boosters
