Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2930 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2939 is a jelly level with a timer! You have 75 seconds to grow at least one of the popcorns and use the resulting colourbomb. Once you have cleared one of the popcorns you will get extra time candies dropping from the dispenser so as long as you can keep collecting them you can keep playing. One dispenser, however, will probably not be enough to keep the game going for long, so you really need to keep growing the popcorns to get more extra time candies dropping.
A colourbomb/wrap or colourbomb/stripe combo will give you the best chance of clearing popcorns, so although you don't have a lot of time to look for good moves it is worth spending a second or two to check for good combos.

I absolutely give up! Impossible for me.
This was Level 2928 when I played it. It was switched with 2930 so it’s now 2930. The time has been reduced to 75 seconds instead of 90 seconds when I played it. I passed this level on the 3rd try before Cookie’s tip and video is available. I watched Cookie’s video. Her luck was incredible. She was able to get a wrapped/wrapped combo, a striped/wrapped combo, and TWO color bomb/striped combos. That is why she passed it without using any boosters. If you want to wait for that kind of luck, I wonder how long and how many times you have to play this level.
In addition to cookie’s tip, the middle column has the +5 candy dispensers but they are blocked by popcorns and they have jellies underneath them, so they have to be popped. They are also isolated and hard to hit. After 2 tries, I was going nowhere. So, I thought the only way to beat this level is a brutal approach. The 3rd time, I hammered all the popcorns one by one. The only good news is that you have 75 seconds to do it. If you don’t want to wait for that “lucky board” that Cookie had and are really determined to pass it, my tip is don’t waste time and start hammering the popcorns right away. The popcorns have been hit by some wrapped candies in the beginning so it saved me some lollipops, but you must have enough lollies to finish the job.
thank you, rick. You're right, I have been playing this level for days without any success, so I'm going to play candy drop games for many days and build up my supply of hammers. I feel like that's the only way.
who actually likes these timed levels? there is no strategy involved, just luck. also have you noticed that the timed levels are always candy drop levels, so when a normal candy changes in a "c" candy, it takes up time. i hate this game now. they need to get rid of these levels.

The next episode, levels 2931 to 2945 is a killer episode. There is not one, two, three but FOUR timed levels in 2932, 2936, 2940, and 2942. The hardest is 2942 which included mixers and bombs. I have to buy 2 time extensions to complete it. The next hardest is 2932. It took me 3 tries to complete 2932 and 2942. The easiest are 2936 (1 try) and 2940 (2 tries).
Good luck guys because you will need a lot of luck, boosters as well as gold bars in the next episode.

13 (less 2920 & 2923) levels on first try including this one (only with the help od the SD) and all the hard levels.
Along the way, I used on top of the SD only 2 hammers, 2 hands and one fish.

I can't believe that this level is not a super hard level...started on my phone..went to my tablet a then back to my phone even with SD, a couple of switch hands and a couple of hammers still needed a very lucky board. Was able to get a few combos ..did not have enough hammers to follow Ricks advice..definitely one of the most difficult levels..
Went back to read the comments on the rest of the levels in this episode..very few comments..many levels with 0 comments...not sure what that means.. are people stuck or just giving up.. this was definitely a nasty episode thanks to the 2 horrific timed levels and according to Rick the next episode has 4
Thanks for the tips Rick. Based on your advice I first collected more cds so I gained another 3 hammers. Only reason I finished level first try is that I used hammers on.the last two remaining popcorns and bought an extra 15 seconds. Definitely NOT looking forward to next weeks episode with 4 timed levels (which I absolutely hate)!
Didn't start this episode until noon as my my enthusiasm is not what it once was. Not sure what to say about the episode in general. First of all I was lucky enough to have Space Dash this time but I kept getting these annoying notice bars that say "Finish on 1st try get a Special Reward". If I didn't get this notice I didn't get credit for finishing on the first try. Also, I can't see where I got any kind of a "Special Reward" even though I got ten gold crowns and finished 2 others 1st try.
Level 2828 on the blog said the timed level had been changed to level 2830. So, imagine my surprise when I started it and "Oh No" it's the timed level. After three tries and using ten of my gold bars because I was so close I decided to use my smaller Android tablet. Another surprise, it was not a timed level but the one with the two cakes that I passed easily on my 1st try. Then did level 2929 and when I got to level 2830 went back to my large Android tablet and had to do the two cake level again.
So, to summarize. I never did have to pass the dreaded timed level. Your bad "King"/

This is impossible without hammers, but the timed ones in the next episode are pretty easy. I LOVE 2942. I use it to collect sugardrops and have gotten 215 once. I could have gone on, but didn't because I had enough sugardrops. Just wait until you get to 2946, licorice hell, then you'll wish for more timed levels instead.
Just passed this level on iPhone. Timers been removed and it's just a jelly level now with 38 moves :)
This is no longer a timed episode! I finished by using hammers on the last 2 popcorns after getting a few colorbomb/stripe combos handed to me.
After playing over 100 times as a timed level, discovered today no longer a timed level. Didn’t realize at first till I looked up to see how much time was left. Still had to use gold bars to add moves and then finish up with hammer. I used up a lot of boosters trying to pass this level. Will now try to rebuild boosters.
Level 2930 on my two Android tablets and cell are no longer timed levels.
Level 2928 on one tablet and cell is the cake level.
Level 2928 on the other tablet is is the one with the popcorns down the center and is still a timed level. So both level 2928 and level 2930 are the same level on that tablet. Only one is a timed level and one is not.

Luckily, I was a day behind you, Sharon, so I didn’t have this as a timed level. I guess I’ll get more sugar drops until next Wed. but it appears the next level is really ugly. I don't know why I keep punishing myself! It’s almost like my golf game. Lately it’s not so much fun anymore!

2930 for me is 65 jellies, 5 popcorns,8 blockers..very difficult, I've played at least 50 times. Hoping for lucky board.

Why am I still on a timer when its been removed for other players. So sick of cc and its cock ups. We are all up on the same level so why is it harder for some and.easier for others.
Seriously! Been playing this level for a couple of days, but it was a fun level so wasn't getting stressed about it. This morning it's changed to a timed level, am really getting hacked off now with this game.

I think this may be the level that makes me stop playing this game. I didn't even finish it when I spent almost all of my gold bars and used most of my hammers

Very hard for handicapped players. I like playing Candy Crush bur I have palsy in my hands. These timed levels make it very hard for me and it is mean!
Been playing for close to a week now. Best I can do is 3 popcorn, so that still leaves two more. So think we're done with CC
Hopeless- cannot move fast enough to get passed two popcorn - over a week now and bored - this could be the end of the road .
Having to wait for candies to settle is a ripoff! Other games you can make moves when candies are moving. Gardenscapes for example. Ridiculous!!!!

Timed level = major panic mode! Several games in, I got a good board and only needed one hit on the top popcorn, so used a lollipop hammer. I can't take that kind of pressure!

After reading the comments here I wonder if the programmers at cc are all high on something. Changing boards, timed to untimed, etc. Sounds as though no one knows what they're doing. When a game becomes boring, frustrating and no fun it's time to say bye bye. Too bad because it used to be fun and somewhat challenging. Now it's mostly boring.

Posting for luck. I generally enjoy playing Candy Crush, but this is a terrible boring level. The cascades waste too much time. will try a few more times and then I am calling it quits. I found a puzzle app that I like on my ipad that is a lot more fun.

Lucky board needed indeed! As someone else,mentioned, when I do clear the popcorn (and have only,managed one) I get darn liquorice dropping rather than extra time. Ridiculous level with no strategy or skill involved, dull dull,dull.
This level is still a timed level on my Android - my app is updated. I have lost count of the lives I have lost and boosters I have used. I am getting really frustrated.

Still a timed level on my PC and my iPhone, but not a timed level on my Kindle Fire. Maybe just Android is not timed. Having problems in both cases.

This is bullshit. Been on this level for a month now and can't even get close. Some people saying its not a timed level anymore. I play on android and it is still a timed level. Finally passed this level this morning. Gave up many tries ago on wasting boosters. Got a long awaited luck board, but had to use hammers on the last popcorn. If you have not yet passed this level, don't give up. Takes a long time, but CC finally allows you to complete the level.

Not sure what people are seeing, but my level isn't timed, but is still near impossible. Need a ton of luck to clear out the top and it hasn't been coming.
If you don't have a timed level, concentrate on getting rid of the top popcorn---by far the hardest on the board. You will need to create sprinkles next to wrapped candies and make sure the colors match up with what is on the line of that upper popcorn before you explode things... With luck, it isn't that hard to pass this, but if your luck sucks, it can be an agonizing wait.

I needed two hammers for the topmost popcorn, but then licorice took it's place. Luckily I had a few more moves left, and when the licorice finally got out of the way, that jelly matched with others. Phew!
