Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2933 Candy Crush Saga with 22 moves by Cookie
From the start of level 2933 you should be making moves under the dispenser in the middle of the board to get the lucky candies dropping. If you are lucky some of them will change into yellows while you are clearing the cakes, which is another priority.
The cakes need to be cleared as soon as possible and they will collect all the blockers and licorice you need, but once the cakes are gone the priority is to get as many lucky candies as possible dropping, so keep making your moves under the dispenser.
You will only get one lucky candy per move so you need as many moves as possible left to get the yellows you need.
Level 2933 only has 22 moves and I used a lucky candy booster to complete it in the moves.

the game only has 22 moves now and wonder if it is possible to crush
Clearing the 2 cakes does not clear all blockers and licorice. There are 2 layers to blockers so clearing 2 cakes clears only blockers then you still have all the licorice to clear.

Most of the times the mystery candies won't turn into yellow until the other orders have been filled. After the pies are gone you still need special candies to get rid of licorice and then you might get yellows. Not easy.

Where are the yellows? I cleared the cakes and made lots of "lucky" mystery hits - and only three turned yellow!

Playing impossible games take the exciting and fun away.
When you try it over 100 times and can't even get half of the needed yellow pieces, than or you are really as silly as we are treated this way or search for another game that does not irritate that much anymore.

Got extremely lucky on my last 2 moves after quite a few useless moves before.
One move before last, a CB formed by itself and landed near yellow. I needed 5 more yellows and I had 4 spreaded on the board. I had one more lucky candy on board, so, I hammer it and switch the CB with the yellow on my last move.
Luckily done on my first try.

This level is totally unfair....I actually had a lucky candy drop on each move, but to no avail....I activated all the lucky candies and they were not all yellow, therefore, I still had 7 yellow left to get...even after exploding the 2 cakes, as well...after all that, how is it possible to get the necessary number of yellows? Unless I get extremely lucky, I'll be playing this level forever....

To get enough yellows, you must make matches under the special candy dispenser (in the middle) in almost every turn. If you can't, then try to clear the cakes. I had the space dash, so started with a color bomb combo which gave me a head start. Still needed to concentrate on special candies.

I just proved this level is broken...there are 26 moves and there are 14 yellows needed...I dropped 20 lucky candies and activated all of them and there were only 2 yellow candies...yes, 2...so, how are you supposed to get 14????

I posted for luck 3 days ago.... luck hasn’t arrived yet. Several times I am down to 4 yellow candies before the game ends. Tonight, I decided to give up 10 lives to get 5 extra points..... I lost. I think giving up 16 lives I should win, This game is sucking the lives out of me.

I suppose its time to go. It has become too boring. I like games where I can actually decide myself what the next move must be. Lately the games are so easy, because there is only one or two moves to choose from. Really easy, but very boring, because you keep swiping and swiping until the game decides it’s time to let you go ahead. No skill, no fun. Thanks cc, it was fun for a while, but I suppose money will always spoil the fun.

Just thought I'd got the lucky board I got everything needed accept the yellow and I still had 15 moves left and I still had 9 to go when guess what ran out of moves . Holy shit .
Candy crush has become garbage. No skill involved anymore. Just levels in which you either pay for boosts or wait until a luck board comes along. Level 2933 is a perfect example of King's greed to sell boosts. F them! I have never spent a single dime and never will. Candy crush is nothing but a waste of time now... it used to be fun... now it just a frustrating hunk of shit game.
On this cold Sunday, would it be lovely to play candy crush, like I uese to do for years.

It's really stupid what the board designers have done to CC. Making levels in which the only way to pass is to get a luck board or purchase countless boosts. I share the same feelings as many others that have posted here. Candy crush used to be fun, now its boring, frustrating and just plain aggravating. Instead of thinking up new boosts or new strategies that players must discover they designers have opted for boards based on luck. What garbage! Level 2933 is pure rubbish. I've played the level too many times to count have have never come close to getting enough yellow pieces. I have even cleared both cakes and still had 21 moves left and still not enough yellow pieces from the dispenser. The level is flawed! The dispenser drops too many spirals and never enough yellow pieces. CC better get their act together or they can kiss their long time followers goodbye.
After many times, a rare event I cleared the board but still had 12 yellows left so NEED A LUCKY BOARD PLEASE.
Dispenser never drops enough candies that turn to yellow. If I have yellow pieces on the board and I clear a cake those yellow candies aren't counted!! Not enough moves either. Please fix this level.

I just finally passed after days of frustration. I think they just made it easier and took a colour out or something as combos were coming easy and I cleared both cakes fast and then it was just mega cascade with a yellow lucky candy dropping after every cascade had finished.
DO NOT BOTHER PLAYING THIS LEVEL ON THE MOBILE. It gives you four colors, whereas on the desktop version, it only gives you three colors of candy and therefore causes a ton of cascades to happen and makes the level more plausible. I have been stuck on mobile and I thought ok I'll give the desktop a try. I came within ONE yellow to win. So much more attainable. Give it a try!
And I beat it, very next try. I'm telling you - desktop is so much better!!

This level is insane and boring. Please King, make some fun levels. I don’t mind some challenges, but making a level that you have to play 100 times to pass is ridiculous! Oh and by the way, I do occasionally buy boosters so it is not like I refuse to spend a little money on this game. Help!

I had been playing this on mobile for days with no luck. I came here to get advice before trying it on my desktop. I noticed Cookie said that they removed the purple candies. WOW!! What a difference! Made it so easy and I completed it the first time. Only "problem" is after I collected all of the ingredients, the game kept cascading forever without giving me the option to "tap to skip". But, I ended up with over 2,700,000 points.

I can’t believe it? This was SUPER easy for me!!! lucky board obviously, but I cleared the cakes ridiculousy easy, then the cascades just kept coming and coming, and on and on and on, Took forever!!

They've clearly corrected the problem--this one was literally a blast! First attempt, explosions everywhere, and got 12,509,280 points!
I just got here after being stuck on the timed 2930 for over a week! ! I started with a spaceship and sprinkle and check booster. Restarted until 2 sprinkles together for a good start. Easily cleared cakes and concentrated on special checks falling. Finished with 19 moves spare and 360000. After reading I know king took a colour out so I was lucky not to be here earlier. I got this on the 1st try! In fact the points are still racking up 10 minutes after I completed it. I racked up 8 digit points. There must’ve been a recent fix. 😅
Ditto to skeptical's comment. Got this first try since one color has been removed. Every move generated a series of cascades, sometimes lasting 30+ seconds. My one game took me over 15 minutes to play, and then another 6 minutes after sugar crush. Crazy. Needs fixing.

Perhaps I was just lucky, or maybe there was a flaw, but maybe it is a "trick" I was unaware of too. If you can get a square wrapped candy to move directly under the middle dispenser and then set it off it will give you credit for collecting MANY yellow candies. After the explosion, I needed only a couple yellows and I had collected none... Maybe a "trick" or a flaw, but it worked for me.

Just passed level. Keep you eye on the centre column where the special dispenser is and make moves here first whilst making stripe candy combos elsewhere. Once the two squares have been detonated only make moves from the centre dispenser to get the yellow.
Hope this helps. I used a sprinkle to start and used it with a stripe and this got me off to a good start.

I have 30 moves with the purple still there. It’s not stated as hard level but I’d say it’s super hard. Took me the whole day to get a lucky board. King has a simple strategy to make it hard , just give very few moves thus needing a lucky board to finish or as they hoped buy more boosters. Again I managed to get a lucky board, two tries in after visiting the internet to see the comments. The levels are all difficult at this advanced stage of Candy Crush. However King is not playing fair by giving so few moves to make some levels super tough.

Try to add some help. First of all if you clear the cakes, then the resulting cascades should get rid of your need for licorice or those other squares (not sure what you call them). Once you've met the criteria for licorice and those squares, then the magic candies will always be yellow. I still haven't passed it yet but I have figured out the magic candies will have everything but yellow until you complete the other parts of the quest (and that will only happen when you zap those cakes). Super hard level!

Do the developers test on all platforms before releasing. Dont have desktop only android and it is absolutely impossible. Not enough yellow. Today will be my last day of this frustration!

Reading the comments and hints you would see that the 3 columns on the right dispense licorice, well that is correct.and the one in the middle dispenses yellow, that is sometimes correct, it will dispense checkmarks that will change into yellow or maybe licorice or maybe just a jelly. . ASSHOLES
Need to clear the cakes to have any shot and then you need about 30 moves after that to get the yellows(which you don't have).
