Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2971 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie.
This can be a tricky level due to the lack of moves and the licorice blocking what moves you do have.
Look carefully at the board before you start as it can be hard to see the moves under the marmalade. The aim should be to unlock as many candies as possible in the first few moves so you have space to make the combos you will need to clear the jelly.
Work as close to the bottom of the board as you can, this will create cascades that will help clear jelly and keep the licorice under control.
The best combo is a colourbomb/wrap if you can make one, this will do a lot of damage to the jelly and clear a lot of licorice. Although the video below starts with more moves the player does complete the game within the moves now available.

17 tries left? No longer possible.... At the moment there are only 14 moves available instead of 16 in the video (plus 3 optional moves già space dash or similar...)
Tedious level due to the liquorice coming along. Tried many times and got impatient, so used CB+Stripe + fish. Actually, the fishes saved me (and must admit, CB+wrap is probably better). But why are some "normal classified" levels are only possible with boosters? Somehow boring.

I matched a color bomb with a wrap as first move and still had 5 left. Working at the bottom as suggested by cookie did not result in cascades for me. This level is a bummer.

Surprised there aren't more comments on this one, I am struggling. Only 14 moves and an avalanche of liquorice. Closest I've come is 5 jellies left, not close enough to even bother using a booster.
No easier on PC unfortunately.

14 moves make this a ridiculously hard level - too much
another rubbish level which seems to rely on loads of boosters (which I no longer have any of). Posting for luck after being stuck here and getting nowhere near for well over a week

I have tried everything everyone has suggested. None of it worked!! Everyone that has passed this level is because they got a lucky board!! Boosters, no boosters, I still have 10 left!! The one time I had 3 left to clear??!! I had the "free spin for extra moves "!! And as usual it DID NOT land on extra moves!! It NEVER does!! The board is too tight for boosters!! This level needs extra moves & a lot of hammers!! Or once again, the lucky board!!
There are 23 jellies that need to be hit twice,covered in marmalade!! And licorice cascading!!! With 14 moves!! I started with color bomb, tight board! I had to use it to remove the 7 orange candies because it was the only move!! Fish boosters only give you one!! Tell me that this isn't buy or sit for days for lucky board!I hate this game!!!!!

Bien... es evidente que este nivel en mi caso debe de tener algún error, es imposible que utilizando todos mis refuerzos, juntando varias veces dos colour combos y con tres movimientos extras, no me lo consiga pasar. Volveré cuando se solucione.

Only way past is to go back to the beginning & do 3-4 levels to get 1 CB, 2 S/W & 3 extra moves. Then once back at this level refresh as often as possible (only on a mobile device) until the CB is next to a wrap with the colours well distributed. Worked 3rd time for me with 7 moves left!

I have started with Boosters and without. It doesn't seem to make any difference. There just are not enough moves.
I came back to CC a few weeks ago after a 6 month break because I’d lost interest after playing numerous stupid games. This level has completely done me in. Will be having a lot of free time on my hands again!>>

Luck - going to go back to first 10 levels of game and get helmet help with color bomb, then wrap/stripe then will come back and try level adding fish booster and will reset game until I get sprinkle and wrap next to each other

Ok- it worked first try but I did have to use two hammers (got down to one jelly and it had liquirice so it made me use two hammers on the one- prob could of gone back to beginning of Game again for the helmet collection- but just wanted to be done.
Don’t know why they say HORRIBLY HARD LEVEL... it is but it’s easier than just st hard levels bc there seems to at least have strategy and not just all luck

Omg, why King? Not enough lives!
Only 14 moves! Impossible unless you have a lucky board. I am writing for a lucky board. Getting bored with this level. Half the time, I only get moves where the jelly already has been removed. Again, posting for the lucky board.
There are quite a few changes to levels in the 2900 Series. 2955, 2961 and 2971 are the few I ran into lately.
