Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2973 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
There are only 17 moves to collect the 5 ingredients and complete level 2973.
You will only see 4 ingredients to begin with and it is quite possible to collect these in the moves allowed, however, the fifth ingredient is blocked by the spawner at the top of the board so this has to be cleared to complete the level.
To begin with work at the bottom of the board to clear the chocolate and make space to work on your moves.
The visible ingredients will drop down to the bottom of the board, then when there is space for them on the conveyor they will drop through the portals and up onto the conveyor. From here they will find their way to the exits. You need at least 4 or 5 moves to get the cherries to the exits once they are on the conveyor.
At the same time as you are collecting the visible cherries you should be trying to destroy the spawner to allow the fifth cherry to drop out of the exit. A colourbomb/stripe combo may help and you can also use single stripes or stripe/wrap combos to hit it.
The moves have been reduced from 20 to 17 and I am not sure if it is possible to complete this level in 17 moves without using boosters.
It might help to use a coconut wheel, but I didn't find it very useful.

Level is impossible! I havent seen one video complete this level in 17 moves... too many things to do in so little moves! Kill the spawner which seem to take 5-6 hits plus open up the board to let other ingredients out and then they need to get on conveyors belt and move to the exits! Not possible...
I used sprinke+wrap to get the blockers cleared and the four chrries up to the conveyer belt quickly. Ended up wacking the timer thing at the top with a bunch of lollipop hammers to end it. Couldn’t see any other way. Thank goodness for sugardrop and daily wheel for a good stash of boosters. This level seemed impossible without them. -Ann

I had 20 moves, got last cherry to within 2 moves of portal, didn't want to risk not getting this close again so used 2 hand switches to finish level.
No hints for next level,2975? Completed it 1st go luckily, thought I had to destroy all popcorn so was surprised when I got Candy Crush!!

Managed with booster kept resetting until so rinkle and wrapped together. Keep hitting spawner until drops . Then u just need enough moves to get the others round on conveyer.
One of the cherries disappeared into the spawner, which I didn't even get close to destroying. Even Cookie admits that the level is impossible without boosters. I may be done with this foolishness.

I went back to the first 3 levels to get a full helmet with 3 extra moves. Then I used 2 hammers on the spawner and finished with 1 move left. Then I still had a full helmet to start the next level. Good luck.
Great, once again another impossible level unless you use boosters!! Ugh!! Each week I care less about this game, each week I play it less and less! You are ruining this game with levels like this. This game has become more about money and I don’t play games who care only about money! Obviously if we are playing this level we have invested a lot of time on this game because of that our opinions should strongly be considered, CC listen to our complaints and go back to the CC we all played and loved and stop being so money hungry or you will lose more than just money!
Impossible for me
I had to use hammers on the spawner to get the last Cherry down and get rid of it. More sugar drop playing!!!! SIGH!!!! Awful level.
How to pass this impossible level!!! Stuck for days! Hate it.
This level is definitely designed to make you spend money. Level 606 played three times is the best way to get boosters, as pointed out by another poster on an earlier level, but even so I am finding it impossible. Just spent about five hours straight, and got nowhere. I really hate to quit after getting so far, but I can't get past this level.
F**k the game designer from King! They are obviously designing levels which they themselves do not play.
How is this level rated as easy? It's impossible. Not enough candies on the board at the start for boosters to be of any use.

Okay...I will wit playing for a few days until you correct this impossible level! No fun and I refuse to make another purchase...
I started with two colour bombs which I switched together. Then I focused solely on destroying the magic mixer. Had to hit it about 6 times! By then the cherries had got themselves onto the conveyor so the level could be easily completed.
This level isn't impossible-I just amazed myself by getting through after a few tries -firstly I used a coconut wheel and aimed it up at the spawner which gave it one hit.Then I managed to aim enough hits to explode it, by which time all the cherries were through except one which was miraculously 2 moves away from the exit and then POW I was through!! Keep going Crushers and HAPPY XMAS to you all.Thanks to COOKIE for all her hard work and great tips x

Hating this level... Impossible... I'm kind of happy because I've become addicted and this is the level to make me quit.
I finally got through, two days later! I swapped a bomb with a striped, and also it seemed like a lucky board. Don't give up, but don't waste your time without boosters. I replayed level 606 to get them. Good luck!
P.S It's 3.40 in the afternoon here in the UK, not 7.40 in the morning as shown.

I have played enough to figure out how impossible this level is....of all the times I have played, I have only blown up the spawner once and then I didn't have enough moves to get the cherries around to the top.....help me please....another over and over again level....hate these
CC - what do you want? Money is not the point - one must just wait for space dash or similar and go back to a low, easy level and repeat it until the boosters are full. But what about fun??? In any way, one must hit the spawner 5 times. To do so, you need at least (normally more than) 10 moves (5 times to build eg the right stipe and 5 times hitting it). Cb+Stripe often doesn't work as stripes not always explode in the wanted direction. Additionally there is a limited field in the beginning plus the ingredients need time = moves to move in the conveyor. Why reducing to 17 moves if 23—25 moves were fun and a challenge, ....but 17 are just a piss-off?

Surprise! I won with no boosters. I kept hitting the spawner every chance I could. When it exploded. All the ingredients were on the conveyor and left me with 2 moves. Yea, must have been a lucky board

Stuck on this stupid level 1 week now really?
The hint here should not be how to win, but rather how to at least "get close" because I cannot even get there....I understand that some people are beating this level, but it sure seems that a lot are not...something has to give here...
Idk what the answer is I’ve used every booster and still can’t beat this level. I’ve gotten to one cherry but ran out of moves. Other players must have been given a really lucky board. I need more moves and a lucky board!

Finished with 12 moves left!!!. Here's how: went to 606 played until full helmet 3 extra moves included then used boosters of sprinkle and wheel.. reset until sprinkles next to each other. Whole board was cleared by the 19th move. Made combos and kept getting wheels. Maybe lucky board not sure but finished after 1 try. No hammers or hand swith used. Hope this helps.
I completed this level on Android on the last move without boosters after playing about 100 times. To beat this level:
1. Eliminate the chocolates as soon as possible.
2. Keep an eye out for vertical stripes to hit the spinner to release the last cherry. I think it needs five hits to explode.
3. On each move, check for opportunities to move the cherries onto the conveyor by making a combination under the portals.

Dont waste boosters on this, I just lost 5 coconut wheels in a row, they all got covered with the chocolate or were blocked in by licorice. All my eligible moves were across the top on the conveyor belt before any of the ingredients were released. Horrible level, definitely not enough moves. Blahhhhhhhhh!
Here’s how I figure it ...if a blog is telling us you need ‘x’ amount of boosters or any boosters at all...they are in collusion with the game providers....amazing how nowadays we have a disclaimer saying the game may be different...King must’ve thought this one through...fkn scammers!!!

It's hard enough getting the 4 cherries down. Impossible level used all my boosters.
Impossible level. I know we’ve had some really hard levels before but this one has got to be the worst. Not enough moves to even come close to completing it. Too much to do with so few moves. This could certainly be the end of the line for me. Used up all boosters now in trying to pass and refuse to pay to buy more only to lose them again on this level.

Ok,allowed myself 5 lives today, got it to 4 cherries lined up , took a punt on having enough hand switches and hammers left to sort this out and bingo. Onwards crushers😀Sassie.
Another board where you've got to get lucky. Not wasting any more boosters on this. Day 5 and probably 150 attempts. Takes the fun out of it

This really is impossible. I have play over 150 times and I have cleared the spinner once. King needs to correct this.
As of the 9th January, this level on PC has 27 moves, so now achievable without boosters. On iPad, still only 17 moves.

Probably a lucky board but passed second go with no boosters. Concentrate on clearing the chocolate and hitting the spawner (5 times i think) the other cherries took care of themselves

Finished last cherry it disappeared but never went to 0. . No other cherries appeared. Ripped off
Got it first try. Finished off the spinner with an orange wrapped next to the spinner. Then hit an orange candy with a CB.
Can easily get the first 4, but the spawner just won’t die! I hit it multiple times with wraps and stripe combos and just stripes but it wouldnt shift.
Tried a coconut wheel. And that did the trick, plenty of those dropped and just kept hitting the spawner with them.
How many times do you have to hit the spawned. This is terrible. I’m ready to give up after all of the fun I’ve had it’s now over!

Not bragging but got through it on my third try. I concentrated on getting the middle cherry, found using the cb/stripe works better than cb/wrap in hitting it. made it with one move to go. and I did not use any boosters

Lucky board please
I feel like a di** saying it, but I completed on the first try. I had a coconut wheel and it popped up a couple of times and with a couple of bombs, success. And we all know it was just luck. More times than not, I play a game 20-30 times waiting for that lucky board that either allows the win, or gets me close enough that a use some goodies to get me home. Obviously, we have all played the game a long time to get to this level. And suspect no one will disagree that it is not the same fun game as when we started. Used to get 50 moves to complete a level, well now you get 15. I get how they want to make money. Truly, the only way they will listen to players to make the levels easier is if we all quit playing, and they made nothing. Otherwise, they figure we will come back, we will pay, and they will buy another house in the Bahamas.
