Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2962 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have only 16 moves to get the target score and complete level 2962.
First you'll need to collect the keys to open up the board so you have the chance to make special candies and combos.
Don't start the level with a colourbomb, it is a waste of the colourbomb and often makes the keys harder to collect. A stripe/wrap combo is not as bad but I'm not sure about starting the level with all the boosters from the helmet or spaceship.
I found I got better scores by starting without boosters as the candies are set up at the start to make it easy to collect the keys.
Once the board is more open it's just a matter of making as many colourbombs as you can. Don't switch two colorbombs together and don't switch a colourbomb with a stripe.
Stripe/wrap combos are OK, but the best way to score is to try to get cascades going by using colourbombs or wraps.

I you get stuck on this one, my advice, do NOT blow up your colour bombs at the end, Any colour bombs left at the end blow up to maximum points. That's how I got through. (Anna from Australia.)
Started with space dash and finished easily, the keys collected themselves!
Finish level after two attempts. Thank you Anna from Australia. I had two color bombs at the end which helped rack up the score. Cookie is also correct I did not use boosters starting the second attempt. First attempt I had the space dash which provided no help.

I found this level deceptively hard. Wasted quite a few lives and a few boosters too. Appreciate the tip from Anna but found I had to wait for a lucky board to even come close to the score necessary and still needed the 5 extra moves to ensure I could make the score needed.
not getting anywhere near
Second try I got to 37,000 points and used gold bars for 5 more moves since I had two sprinkles after the cascades. I was still 3,000 points short after the crush, so I got 5 more moves and managed to get a sprinkle and two wraps. I also left them on the board and with this crush, I got enough points. Thank goodness I have a lot of gold bars to use!
Took quite a few tries til I got a lucky board. So much reshuffling. Only got one star
but at least got lots of red candies.

"make as much CBs as you can". Haha.... I hardly can do one if any. Difficult to plan CBs, as the sides "roll away" and the field is therefore not stable. 2 times I had 2 and once had 3, it was only 43000 point. Tried sooo often, up to now in vain.
The most hateful level. You must be playing and April fool trick in December. How about a Xmas gift, all I want is to pass this level. Help please.

Finally done! I had to use many hands bosters in order to compose four colorbombs (let them explode when you have no more moves).

Not this level. Seriously. It’s boring and not challenging but frustrating. At least give me something to work with besides freaking luck. It’s getting old.

This is the dumbest level ever!!! I am so tired of playing this level over and over just waiting for the “lucky” board. No thinking or skill needed for these stupid levels. I thought games are supposed to make you think? It is making me think that I should quit. Come on Candy Crush, you can make levels better than this one, it is just dumb, dumb, dumb.

No fun being stuck on the same level for days on end! I’m lucky to even get half the points needed. Make lots of combos Cookie said, well that’s next to near impossible. If I’m really, really lucky I may be able to make one colour bomb during the whole game. No challenge or skill involved in this level at all, just another case of waiting for a lucky board. Really fed up now.
Plus I see today since the new level has come out that some of the other levels in this series have been changed from normal to hard and extra hard! Why do CC change the levels? Isn’t it hard enough already?
Just another stupid level of restricted moves and hoping for a lucky board. Where is the fun in that?? Beyond bored with CC these days!!!
Playing on iPhone and had full xmass stocking, so 2 color bombs, 2 stripe/wrap candies and 3 extra moves. I disagree with Cookie on this one. If you have a space dash, helmet or stocking, take full advantage of it. The extra moves are great! I reset until I could use one color bomb at a time to take out 2 separate keys. Having 2 keys unlocked with just 2 moves gave me some room on the board and I was able to quickly unlock the rest of the keys. And even with all this help I only finished with 2 stars. But I finished on the first try and kept my stocking going. I seriously don't know how you guys who don't get/use these boosters get through. I would have quit a thousand levels ago. I always have played on a phone so often get different looking boards than Cookie does but still I think it's a big advantage to play on a mobile device. Kudos to those of you who still play on a PC and have made it this far. As a matter of fact, kudos to all of us who have made it this far. And many thanks to Cookie and all of the rest of the bloggers whose tips help so much. Happy Holidays to all of you Crushers out there!

I tried combining special candies with each other, with color bombs. I tried just cascading. I collect keys right away. I still can't get enough points. The closest I get is 30,000!!! But there's a special on buying gold bricks for the extra moves!!! I am pretty sure it's the only way to complete this level!!! So again it's about king making me buy extra moves!!! Or wait a week for the lucky board!!

I hope my lucky board comes soon and posting for luck because it seems that whining and complaining here brings me luck!!! Candy crush has become a game where you can go and shut your brain off, just wait to get the right board. This episode has been garbage so far. Hope there will be atleast a few fun levels. But this game has become a pile of horse shit!!!! STUPID, badly designed boards. They need to quit making levels if all they come up with is SHIT like this!!! And there have been a lot of really stupid, luck based levels lately.

I haven't commented before, but I can't begin to tell you fellow Crushers (sorry, Cookie - usually you have the greatest board to exist, or twice the moves I have!) have helped me. But I HAD to speak up - these ppl saying color bombs, etc & resets cleared the board are full of crap. You can't possibly know the color of the keys until the first blue one opens - & the next one is green! Don't waste your bonuses b/c some troll says they breezed thru with 10 moves to spare!
This IS a lucky board, but obviously requires "skill" (I'm certain there are differing views of skill - b/c I frankly am astounded I've come THIS far!)to at least recognize where to form candies.
Just a side note - anyone else yet encountered the new, vile exploding bomb? I was appalled that the makers contrived such a childish effect!

Well not so long as I expected (see previous comment I just made) Just got the lucky board I guess. Keys collected very quick, some wraps and stripes got me points up to about 30k and color bomb at end got me just over 50k. Stupid level. Glad I passesd. Good luck everyone. Keep faith

Wth not even labeled hard I guess since most are now one after the other they think it’ll look better if not labeled hard or super hard I guess thinking their players are totally stupid and won’t realize that on their own So easy for them to rig a failed screen again thinking we don’t realize that I personally am sick of spending hundreds of attempts on each level this app has become very boring They’ve take an app that could be awesome where players have to use strategy to win to a money hungry app making levels impossible so we will spend money on boosters to beat levels they have rigged to lose DONT BE FOOLED U WILL NOT WIN WITH THOSE BOOSTERS I have used many free boosters and gotten nomwhere One way it’s rigged is they don’t put the cascades in during play and at end U know when they decided to let u win u will have many cascades And today when playing they finally labeled it hard I guess seeing I’ve spend close to a hundred times to beat

This has to be the most ridiculous level! Definitely a no-brainer as the only possible moves are obvious and then you're out of moves. The "lucky" board, if one ever appears, is going to be ridiculous as well. As others have said, DON'T USE ANY BOOSTERS. There's no way they can help and certainly DON'T PURCHASE any. Certainly Candy Crush doesn't think anyone is dumb enough to imagine that a booster will get them through this one. I've been playing for days, tried the helmet, and am about to give it up. I'm gonna finish my book and forget about Candy Crush for now.

I have been playing this level umpteen times over past 2 days... and suddenly it has changed from 50,000 target to 70,000!!!! I couldn’t get near 50000, so now it will be really impossible
I can't seem to make wraps. I think they would be a big help. The licorice is annoying because if you don't clear at least one every move then a bunch fall down.

I haven’t even gotten to use all my moves yet. Kept saying no more matches. Ivetbeen playing 4 years or more why do only certain people have the space dash?
