Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3050 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Only 18 moves to clear the jelly is quite a task, but not impossible if you play carefully and have just a little bit of luck.
You really need to be working as close to the bottom of the board as you can to have any chance of clearing this level in the moves available. If you can only make moves near the top you won't get far unless you can force a shuffle.
You will need some powerful combos so look for colourbombs from the start, occasionally they make themselves in the cascades, but you can't rely on this happening.
Colourbomb combos are the best way to go although the board is fairly restricted you still need to look for these combos.
The hardest squares to clear are the top corners, so look for any chance to clear them using a colourbomb or other combo.

Been a long time though a lot of one star levels
This last one use a fish booster because I thought I had lost a fish got activated on falling on last move and took out last jelly for me.
Fourth consecutive episode completed all levels on first try.
I didn't get 3 stars on 4 levels - 3037, 42,46,50.
The only level I struggled and had to use hammers and hands (total 7) was 3039.

Of course I uses all the way what I get from King (for free), i.e. Season's Stockings.
I just played level 3039 for the second time and completed it easily with 7 moves to spare,so, I guess I got a very unlucky board on my first try.
Started with double CB and made sure I did as Cookie suggested and cleared the jelly from the corners early in the game. Indy
This level used a chocolate sprinkle/wrap combo and finished with 10 moves left. Overall another enjoyable episode. Level 3047 took a few tries but then got a lucky board that almost played itself with moves left. Til next Wednesday.

Level 3040 broke my string of 54 consecutive levels completed on the first try. It took me also several tries anyway to complete 3041. I completed this episode on my Android tablet, not on the PC. Till next Wednesday.
Well, that was a mostly enjoyable episode. The only one which gave me trouble was 3047. Since I was frozen in here in Georgia, i was able to spend more time with CC. When southerners encounter snow and ice, it’s a sight to behold and I’m not foolish enough to venture out in it. Actually it was very dangerous and I was glad to be able to stay home. Thankfully there was no power outage this time. Had a safe warm week everyone.

In level 3040 I decided to ignore the CB's and to start with strip/wrap combo in the top middle.
The purpose of this move was:
1. Hit the 3 keys
2. Free the Evil
3. Open the top sides columns for candies to drop in.
4. Leave chocolates available to grow.
I believe this is the winning move as it was fairly easy after that.
Thanks, Gil. I started with a CB combo and discovered too late that the conveyor and the cascades made the candies hit the spawner several times, making it explode. When it's gone, it say "Game Over." I should have read the comments before proceeding to play 3040. I was able to pass it with a CB combo but include a check candy which becomes chocolate. Anyway, I hit a snag also in 3041 which I have to play several times to pass it, so my streak will still would have be broken.
Gil, keep your streak of consecutive levels complete on the first go alive. I have to start a new streak.
I was able to pass all of them on the first try (however definitely not all 3 stars) but had to use quite a few hammers and a few switches on 3047. I should have Spent more time thinking up my strategy for accomplishing that level. I also used two cbs for 3040 and just was lucky I didn’t kill the spawner too soon since I also didn’t use a check mark either. Anyway - see everyone next Wednesday.
Gil, I followed your striped/wrapped combo tip and I was able to pass it with 8 moves to spare and 3 stars. The spawner exploded but the chocolates on both sides of the board grew that I was able to collect enough to complete the order.
I passed levels 3040 and 3041 both on 1st try with three stars. 3040 I used a Chocolate Sprinkle combo with no other boosters and finished with 16 moves left. Lucky I guess because it didn't destroy the spawner. Only level I had to replay was 3047. But, for the whole episode I only used one hand and one lollipop besides a few fish and checkmarks along with Seasons stockings. Actually ended up with more boosters than I started with because of the treasure chest and star challenge.

Sharon, I think there is also some luck involve here also depending on how the candies are arranged in the beginning. You passed levels 3040 and 3041 on the first try but has to replay 3047. I passed 3047 on the first try with 3 stars but have to replay 3040 and 3041 several times.

And I struggled the most in level 3039 which happen to be fairly easy (to keep my first go streak I used 5 hands and 2 hammers in this level), and passed 3040, 3041 and 3047 on first go.
One or two goes is not sufficient statistic to determine hard levels.
Last thursday I passed this level but something strange happened today. This morning I was collecting sugar drops and I realized that the competition of collecting listed drops was opened. But this afternoon it is closed (not showing)... does anybody know why this happens?
Level 3040 snapped my 54 first go streak when the spawner exploded and the board said "Game Over" because there was no more chocolate left on the board. I was shocked because I could not do anything anymore. If I read the comments, I would have been forewarned about the spawner. I replayed it based on Gil's tip and passed it with 8 moves to spare. That would have kept my streak alive. I could have passed 304l on the first go if I used boosters, but I eased up because the streak has been broken. I'll just start a new one.
Good morning from Ontario, Canada. I used to have 15 more levels on PC than on phone or iPad. Now PC ends at 3050. Anyone else have this and/or know how I can update if possible? Thank you.

3050 was the last episode for me too. I had little trouble with this episode, two candy bombs formed next to each other early on. I would like to thank Cookie for the very well written, clear hints and the videos that have helped me get to this level.
Yay, space dash fully loaded, 2 CBs smashed together at the start, and a freaky bit of luck at the end which placed a CB with a wrap and game over on the last move. I have reached my goal and finished before the new episode has been released and now I can take a brief break from CC. I'm getting ready to test out my theory that the levels are easy when first released and then they get changed and become harder....
They become harder and also have fewer moves when released on mobile.
