Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3480 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 36 licorice to complete level 3480 Candy Crush Saga and this is not easy!
The first thing you need to do is clear the chocolate to give you more room to work. Stripes and stripe/wrap combos near the middle of the board are the best combos to do this.
If you have the spacedash running and can get two colourbombs side by side at the start you will have a better chance of clearing the chocolate, but these are tips to complete the level without boosters and it can be done.
Once the chocolate is out of the way look for colourbombs, they are much easier to make once the board is clear and you will need them to have any chance of collecting the licorice needed.
Colourbombs on their own are not much use, but switched with a stripe they will do a lot of damage. You need a bit of luck and also to make sure you have plenty of candies of the right colour in line with the licorice. If there are candies inside the candy cane fences a colourbomb/wrap is also useful, but the candies need to be close to the licorice for this combo to work.
Best of all is a double colourbomb combo, this will clear all the licorice on the board and any chocolate that is still hanging on.

Horrible level! I played it many times yesterday and today the space dash was gone so I played to get helmet then added a CB and stripe/wrap booster to it. Then reset until there was a CB combo to clear as much as possible. Finally got the licorice down to four with only one move left so I used three hammers and one swap to get them. I was seriously thinking of quitting this CC addiction, but I guess I'm too stubborn so onward I go.

The best I have done is 15 licorice left after using a CB combo. Still trying to get that count down. This level needs some rework.
Got it. After the CB combo, I was lucky to get many wrap/stripe combos. Used about 4 hand switches.

Also got it. Had 3 licorice to go at the end so I bought 5 more moves. Shouldn't have because I wasn't set up to win but I was able to make a color bomb and with 2 moves left another CB formed right next to it. Talk about luck! Barb
Took me many tries (even starting with 2 CBs together) but finally had to use 3 hammers to finish it off.
I, too, appreciate Carol the Elder’s comments, her comraderie, golfing news, etc. What’s wrong with you people who have to hurl insults? Go to another site for inspiration if this one disappoints you. Or just keep quiet if you don’t have something constructive to say.

Use to find CC relaxing but lately it is frustrating and difficult. Using a lot of boosters with no success. Posting for a lucky board soon or I’m taking a needed break.

How can I earn a space dash?
Anonymous @ 27 June 10:46...you can earn the space dash by winning 6 games....you can also go to level 1 or 606 and replay them 6X and you will earn it that way...it usually starts on Mondays and last for a few days and then the space helmet starts and you an earn that the same way....Good Luck !!
No, space dash and helmets are NOT available to everyone. King verified it with me. If you have them, you are one of the chosen. I have been playing for about 4 years, spent hundreds of dollars, and I am not one of them.

This level i ended up using some boosters. You really just need a lucky board, but there is a bit of strategy too, like she said. Difficult level!
Used mort's helmet and combined CB with a stripe, that started clearing some of the chocolate and a few licorice. After that it was lucky board time with quite a few wrap/stripe combos and one CB/stripe combo, but I still had to use a hammer to get that last licorice. Nasty level.

Ok so I found a strategy. I don’t rely on the authors advice too much cause I don’t have a lot of boosters. So once you get the chocolate cleared. Clear some of the licorice. Regular candies should replace some of the licorice. Then try to get a wrapped & CB. Then you explode more licorice. You can make CB & striped but CB & wrapped is the charm. It’s totally possible.

Boring and impossible without boosters. After realizing that after several trials I provided a complete space dash playing 5 times an easy level and added a second CB that got side to side with that one of the space dash and also a lucky candy booster. With that I could pass the level.

I can't believe Cookie is using the double CB tip knowing its not available to all of us. When I get 30min on a booster I can't select it again to get a combo. Get real will ya. And when a CB/wrap combo goes off, the lower ones blast first making the higher ones drop before they blast. NOT PAYING FOR BOOSTERS.

Really getting fed up with this level. Played it for a week now and getting no where. Please can someone fix it so that we can have a chance of passing?
He finally added moves, lowered requirements and removed the wrappings. Does he enjoy torturing us?
Yes and the peppermint rope is higher which prevents other candies from dropping in
So this morning the game is changed. After days of getting nowhere, it's been changed so there are now 27 licorice to collect in 36 moves, mystery candies and ticks that drop from both sides and the chocolate is no longer wrapped. It appears the candy canes now fully enclose the licorice. First try with no boosters got me down to 5 licorice left at the end. Much better than the few I was getting after playing all those days. I'm optimistic I will get this one done today.

Level 3480 in Candy Crush Saga is different than your example. My game which is linked o King.com gives time bombs and or candies on the bottom left side. The game changed midway as this morning it gave only candies but now it indicates candies or time bombs and only time bombs drop into the left bottom. Impossible to clear chololate while bombs keep falling with short time period. Please have a look.

I passed level 3480 and have been waiting for over five days for the next levels to come. Has anyone else had this problem?
There are now bombs with a countdown of 7 that drop continuously so you spend all you time getting rid of the bombs.
I was wondering why nobody had mentioned the.bombs! It's brutal. I don't see how it can be done now - as mentioned above, you have to spend all your time and moves on the.bombs and you're lucky to keep up with them. I'm sure I'll beatvthis level eventually, but it's really hard.

This is not even listed as a hard level. I can't get below 10 licorice left, tried everything and would use 10 lollipop hammers if I had them. All we're short of is a spawner! Please can I have a lucky board.

My 3480 game has bombs as soon as you make a move that count down from 7 almost impossible to do
The past few levels have been challenging but fun. This is not even possible and not in a fun way.
