Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3791 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3791 is a jelly level with countdown bombs in the locked cells at the bottom of the board.
The only way to complete this level is to collect keys as quickly as possible to expose the countdown bombs so that they can be cleared before they count down to zero. You can't clear the bombs any other way.
The keys drop from the two dispensers at the top of the board and they will only drop if there is space for them to drop and even then they don't drop every move. You should try to clear as much jelly as you can while at the same time making moves below the dispensers whenever you can to get the keys dropping.
Once you have unlocked the bombs you will also unlock a stripe/wrap combo that you can use to clear the bombs and the jelly in the bottom part of the board.
Once the bottom part of the board is dealt with you just have to clear any remaining jelly in the top half and then it's job done!
The hard part can be getting the keys to drop in time to unlock the bombs.

Tried this level 3 times and had trouble collecting the keys. I concentrated on making combos of wraps and stripes and managed to clear all the jelly without collecting all of the keys and before the bombs went off.
Same as Deb, except I had a fish booster that took care of last two at the bottom.
I had 33 moves with SD and needed only one ingredient!?!? I am up-to-date on my version, am I the only one?

Thanks TNC. I was coming up short by spending all my moves going after keys so after reading your post I just went after jellies and passed without unlocking the bombs.
They keep decreasing the moves. Now the moves are only 25. Everytime they make the level hard..
Used up all the boosters and so many lives. Need a lucky board posting for luck again

Finished this and next 2 levels with fish and lollipops. Every 8 hrs collecting sugar drops to earn boosters

Why after collecting all the keys, the stripe/wrap combo didnt clear all the bottom jelly. (One of the jelly where the combo fell didnt clear.)
Takes forever for keys to drop and then out of moves by the time you collect them all

Same here, keys don't drop fast enough. Even If you do get the keys not all the jelly clears at the bottom of the board when using the combo. No way I'm playing the new version when they release levels like this...
Same here. I tried swiping down and up. No difference.
The fish hit the stripe wrap combo and got rid of that pesky middle jelly but alas I lost the chance to swipe the sides away. Save your hammers up.
The same. This has to be a glitch. The only solution is to use a hammer. It's very difficult otherwise because of licorice. Please correct
Luckily I had 2 CB combo to clear the first layer of all the jellies. Then the stripe/wrap combo cleared all the bottom jellies.
After being stuck for a week with the 1 jelly at the bottom that only clears with a hammer, they have changed the level. 20 moves, extended bomb moves... But now the keys don't drop until you have run out of moves so you can't unlock the striped and wrapped combo to clear the bottom which you need as the licorice never clears. This level is awful.
Has this changed since yesterday? I didn't pay attention to the number of moves or bomb countdown except that the bombs would blow up with 5 moves left. Today I have 20 moves and the bomb countdown is 25. Have the moves been reduced by ten? It was hard enough as it was. Maybe I should go back to get the dash or helmet. It's too much effort to bother when it's lost when closing the app.
I've used up my 5 lives and as Anonymous 4:17 said the keys, or the last key, aren't dropping despite making moves under the dispenser. How can anybody pass without the keys dropping?

Very annoyed. How do you get space dash? I haven't had it and think I need it.
Some players get the space dash, Morts Helmet, or recently Build-a-Bot (for Halloween) but some don't. I know players who never had it and ones who did but had it taken away. It's really unfair.
If you have it it will show if you click on the cup/trophy under the spin wheel on the right of the screen. If it is there the best, but time consuming way to get the full strength is to scroll back to the start and play several easy levels.
Sorry to have to tell you that I very luckily passed first go with the full Bot. I started with a wrap/sprinkle combo which blew open much of the top and miraculously left me with a sprinkle. Even more luckily I made another next to it and the two cleared much of the board except for the locked two at the bottom. Another sprinkle and stripe combo kept the candies dropping and the final (was it the 5th?) drop on the send last move.

That should have said the final key dropped on the second last move. I was able to match it and switch the stripe/wrap at the bottom to clear the board.
There was a glitch with combo not clearing one of the jellies in the bottom section that could not be cleared otherwise because of licorice. Today moves reduced from 30 to 20. And keys don't drop so frequently to unlock the combo. Frustrating!

20 moves now. Bombs have 25 countdown so pointless. I can’t get enough keys. I cleared under the key drop on 5 consecutive moves and no key dropped. If I try using combos they hit the licorice which just reappears Presumably lucky board is the only answer!!
Something not right in this level. No matter how quickly I clear the keys,the final one doesn’t drop until the very last move. Only way to then clear the jelly at the bottom is with extra moves.
I agree with nearly everyone....I cannot get the keys to fall to unlock the bottom bombs...I clear the underneath area for the bombs to drop at the top, but the keys just don't drop....is there a "glitch"?....I don't know what else to do?....combinations fall readily at the top and I clear jelly, but how do we get to the bombs when the game doesn't cooperate????

I think the colours have been reduced from 5 to 4 so the moves have also been reduced. They obviously didn't think about the keys as they don't appear in time. I've been stuck for a week now, clearly amateur hour at King, meanwhile they keep advertising the new version...you can only laugh...
Moves have now been reduced to 20. Last key doesn't drop until the 20th move. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?

Can someone change the program? Impossible to complete when the last key only drops no earlier than the last move, which is 20 at this stage!
20 moves is near impossible. I had to get the fizzle bombs into each other twice to go it. How hard are they making it as 20 moves doesn’t unlock keys. Annoying

KING-Which of you jokers made the last key drop on move 20- the LAST MOVE now they have been reduced.It makes it impossible without extra moves. Somebody please sort this and stop playing with US!!
Been playing this level for days now with only 20 moves you video shows 30 moves, I cannot even collect all the keys before I am out of moves, therefore I will never be able to complete this level with only 20 moves ðŸ˜ðŸ˜¡
Is King reading these comments?...It's true and seriously frustrating...no matter how many times you clear the alleged drop-down rows, the keys do not drop in time...you need the keys to even have a chance to win this level...I think we should at least be given the opportunity to get these keys in time, don't you?...
Oh, and one more thing....this blog is supposed to give tips/hints on winning this level.....my tip is "DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING BOOSTERS"...they will do absolutely no good....if the key to busting the bombs doesn't drop down til the last move, what good would it do?...we need to protest and wait for the game to be fixed...and that's my take....
The only way is whack two fizzle bombs into each other. That leaves four squares at bottom and two you can get with stripped. Clear top and two lollipop hammers clear the two at bottom or another two fizzle bombs. But nearly impossible to do. Or win 5 free moves!!!!
Impossible to clear 3791 level in 20 moves
This is the first time I’ve posted. I’ve used this blog many times for tips. Thank you!!! I passed this level by going to 606 and gathering the build-a- bot boosters. I switched two color bombs. The last key dropped on the second to the last move. I had one jelly left after releasing the stripe/wrap combo at the bottom. I was prepared to use gold bars for one final hammer but King “gave” me a free extra move when that choice popped up. I also tried using fish but they ate the stripe/wrap combo at the bottom and ruined the switch. Several weeks ago King was giving away random gold bars. I’ve never bought boosters because I read that King will then alter the difficulty on your game to get you to buy more. With all these recent changes - impossible games, no way to save hat boosters etc. it seems like King wants us to quit this game and play their new game.
I only have 20 moves, and my keys never drop, even if the chute is open! Bye King!
Totally undoable with out extra moves and hammers. So much for Kings statement that all levels can be achieved with out boosters. Can't when the game is rigged so the last key always falls on the last move.
my last key never fall so how to unlock it ? it cannot clear the bottom jelly even with many combo cause the licoire is blocking so this level is just stupid. not goner waste time and play till they fix it bye cc

Clearly King would like me to only CC every 48 hours when I have a chance at free extra moves. Not a problem -- I am enjoying the break from my minor addiction.

Running out of moves before all the keys drop, even when I clear a space every move. Impossible.
Used fish. They helped a bit. Used a hammer on the last jelly with one move remaining - and the last key still had not fallen.
I"m not seeing any way to get into the bottom sections because every hit on the licorice another drops.

I finally got it by forgetting about getting the keys.
I started with a stripe/wrap combo and blasted the left side of the board. It cleared all the jelly below the liquorice. Then I matched a colour bomb with a stripe and cleared a most of the blockers. I concentrated on making another stripe/wrap combo to clear the right side.
I was left with three jellies in the middle with three moves to go and I decided to use hammers because I was sick of the level!

You don’t need all the keys.
This level has changed and I don't know how it is possible. The licorice now had jelly hidden and needs to be unlocked by a key that usually doesn't drop until there is only one or two moves left. No way to remove the jelly under the licorice since another drops in its place and the jelly is still there. I don't know when this change occurred since no one else has mentioned it.
I'm stuck here too, JoAnn! Exactly how you described it. All the videos I have watched do not have those final 6 to clear. I'm not sure how to solve this one!
THIS LEVEL IS IMPOSSIBLE! You need to fix this or you will be losing a lot of players!

Yeah... complaining worked. I also posted on the King forum. Fixed in one day and now I am done with that one. Whew!
