Candy Crush Saga Level 3800 Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3800 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3800 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
As with all jelly levels you will need to make some powerful combos if you are to have any chance of passing it.
First clear some of the waffles to open up the board a bit, then look for chances to make stripes, wraps and colourbombs while at the same time clearing the blockers down the middle section of the board. Clearing this section will give you stripes from the dispenser that you can use to clear the sides where there are no candies to help. Having said that there are the wrapped candies which drop from the dispenser in the lower left section of the board, this will help clear those blockers and the wraps will also drop through into the right lower section when there is a clear path for them to move through.
Stripe/wrap combos are good for clearing but the best combos are colourbomb combos and you can use the conveyors to get the combos together. The two conveyors move together in the same direction and this can make it easier to plan your moves than if they moved in different directions.
You can leave your combos to travel along the conveyor to the sides and use them to clear the blockers and jelly in those sections if needed.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know in the comments and I will try to change it.

Non related to Candy 🍭 3800. But worth trying if you’re short of sugar drops when trying to get 180 and
You’ve exhausted your usual numbers. Never heard it mentioned before but if you’re short by 15 or 20 try
Candy 🍭 1955. Only 16 moves but gives you double sugar drops sometimes. Best I did was 25.
Worth a go if you need them!

These are two terrible booster-depleter episodes. I was able to complete all the 29 levels on the first go except 3798. In 3798, I got the wrong keys that is why the yellow candy on the right did not drop to be switched with the cherry. Although I got gold trophies in the two episodes, there is a surprised trophy if you complete all the levels of the second episode and I missed that. If anybody got all the levels on the second episode on the first go, I would like to know what that surprised trophy is.

Re my comment above about 3798, I meant yellow candy on the left, not on the right. The yellow candy on the right did appear. I don't know if this happened also to somebody else.

Noticed a new treat.. a candy wrapped in a bow. They turn into stripes, wraps & I forgot what else. Anybody else get these today? Definitely a booster eating machine these 2 levels...NOT ENJOYABLE, oh and now we have waffles on 666, oh joy

Level 3798 is a little bit tricky and
that is the only level I can't complete in first go.

Watch the 3798 video before you play

I did watch the video. On closer examination, the yellow candies on each side are locked. When you collect a key of another color other than yellow, the locked candy on the left is released and falls to be switched with the cherry to exit. If another non-yellow key is collected, the locked candy on the right is released. I don't know what happened but I did not see the yellow candy on the left released, or maybe I just miised it.
I did not notice a candy wrapped in a bow in the levels I played today.

Rick, the same happened to me, I tripped up on 3798. But last time I got them all on the first go and the trophy was a diamond. Maybe that's the surprise? Very impressive prize in exchange for all my boosters...

Did not like these episodes. Used lots of boosters and almost completely depleted my hammers and switches. I also messed up on 3798 but in my case it was the yellow candy on the right. Got into a no win situation where the cherry would never make it to the exit. For the first time I had the opportunity to get the trophies, but because of 3798, I only got gold, not the special trophy. However I have not seen any special candies with a ribbon etc. Anyway, until next Wednesday.

I completed both episodes on first go, all 30 levels.
Didn't get any trophies but the stupid gold crowns.
On level 3798 I was very careful not to hit any yellow before I collected all 3 color keys. Ended up, hammering the middle yellow key.
Used about 20 hammers and switches total in both episodes together, so, I didn't find the difficult at all.

Nasty booster wasting levels. So happy to be done. Used a lot of switches and hammers.

The first episode was not too bad but the second episode was a real killer. And I did the 2 episodes before they were released on the androids and apples. So I may have had an advantage of more moves. It was 3793 that I had the most trouble with. It was there I lost most of my boosters. Coconut wheels which thankfully I have an abundance of were very helpful plus the space dash sometimes. Level 3800 was not easy but with persistence and using stratigic boosters was not too bad. See you all next Wednesday

Tricky but fun episodes .. find it very hard to believe that anyone cleared all 30 levels on the first go unless you stepped in dog shit the morning they were released !

I am on an ipad and I saw the gold crown for the first time this week (kinda late). I don’t have the bowed candies. I’ll probably have to wait a year for that. On the plus side, I have none of the problems reported here.

“Used about 20 hammers and switches total in both episodes together, so, I didn't find the (sic) difficult at all.”

So, with just the massive advantage of the space dash, plus a significant amount of boosters, you didn’t find them difficult.

You’re my hero.

Done! I'm one of the bests in the world!
Spent lot of boosters, specially hands and hammers. Didn't enjoy too much...

Needed a lot of "tries" to get past these two episodes. I like to play without looking at the tips to see if I can figure it out...I lost a lot of levels because these were hard to figure out. After losing a few time I come here for the "aha" moments. So a big thank you to Cookie and everyone here.

20 hammers and switches for 30 games is less than 1 per game.

After this simple calculation, is it still "significant amount"?

Anonymous said...

Yes, it is a significant amount. You’ve already got your space dash - which is a MASSIVE advantage - and on average you STILL need help for two-thirds of the levels.. And that’s “not difficult at all”, is it?

So, I guess you can also complete 30 levels on first go using SD and two-thirds of a booster per game.

You are my hero wise guy.

Wow wow wow finished on 2nd attempt started with full sd & all boosters then 2 cb together then bows on candies came matched them together & the Party Booster appeared cleared most of board & lucky candies finished it for me 😀
There were quite a few hard levels & must admit I wouldn't have been able to finish them without the Space helmet so thank you Candy Crush for not taking it away 😘 Twiddling my thumbs now til next Wednesday good luck everyone 😀

I’m the player who mentioned the candies wrapped in bows, surprised no one else got these. Also, my wheel keeps going from every 24 hrs to 12 hours then back again.. what’s the pattern & do you all experience this?

I found this two episodes very easy. I finished 9 levels from 30 with first go. I am the hero of the game.

I had an awful time of these 2 episodes. I don't have a single hammer or hand switch and I don't know how you guys get the party hat looking thing or the stripe boosters. I've never gotten the teeth or anything that doesn't show up from sugar drops or daily spin. Can someone elucidate?

Anonymous said...

Whoop Di doo. I earned a silver crown thingy on the map. What would have been much more of a prize would have been some hammers and hand switches. Used them all up on these recent games. Always surprised when you guys say ‘thank god I’ve finished that’. You know it isn’t compulsory to play CC don’t you?

a lot of times when I face life challenges such as a difficult CC level I ask God for help and when he answers me with a lucky
board..I am very grateful and yes I say "thank God "

Finished this double episode last night. Wasn't able to start it until Thursday after hospital discharge. Can't recall any one level that I enjoyed. Til next Wednesday. Maybe we'll have a keyless designer.

LOL
or one has an armory of lollipops (saw one video which show 500+ hammers)

I’m glad God is spending his time helping you win Candy Crush games.

Thanks Carlton!

Do any of you spend money buying boosters? Just curious,as every game would be doable first time?

Roger75 said...

I will never spend my precious money buying boosters. The day I realize I have to do it to play this game, I will simply quit and look for a useful thing to do...

I just find it totally unbelievably that a few select people have the LUXURY of completing every single board on the first try!! REALLY REALLY,hard for me to comprehend, when others are stuck for days!!! Maybe you should try a different game!!

Anonymous said...

sometimes it's the small miracles .. and if you truly believe.. those are the ones that can bring true happiness.. would I rather have a million dollars.. sure.. but sometimes beating the next candy crush level can create a moment of happiness for me

My SD boosters used to remain intact if I restarted the game before it ended. Now I lose them. Any way to keep the SD boosters, or did they fix a glitch?

Anonymous at 4:23, you could try using airplane mode after your enter CC. After you finally win the level be sure to cancel airplane mode before you go back to CC. It has worked for me, but not for everyone.

Level 3800 is just hopeless I've been on it for over a week now.
Bloody awful.loosing interest fast .

Anonymous said...

Welcome back, Sharon. Missed you.

Cher said...

Does CC realise level 3800 is just not posiable unless they make it more moves . But once again they really don't want us to do it without bye guys more moves .

Jonny B said...

So the player in the demo has 20 switches, 11 hammers, 7 brushes...etc. I've only ever had 1 brush.... I get a pile of boosters every week when I win the the bubble race thing...but no brushes...ever. where's he getting all the boosters?

Anonymous said...

Why brag about winning levels using tones of boosters?
Either you amassed a pile when level 2000 was glitched or you spend a pile of money buying them. No way you can win these levels with strategy alone.
That said what’s the trick to level 3800?
