Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3862 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3862 is a jelly level with very few moves.
However there are only three colours on the board so it is very easy to make special candies and combos, in fact most of the time they make themselves.
The fish from the floats will be helpful, but only up to a point, they target the different things in order, first they will target bombs and if there are no bombs they will target the licorice. So you can see that if there is licorice on the board at the same time as bombs the fish won't clear it. However the fish will take the jelly as they clear the bombs.
You will get lots of colourbombs and they are helpful, but they will not clear licorice and you can't clear the jelly until the licorice is gone. The best combos for clearing licorice are stripe/wrap combos or double wrap combos. These will leave you with candies under the licorice dispensers which you can clear more easily.
This isn't an easy level due to the lack of moves, but it can be quite fun to play as you sit back and watch the cascades.

Don't start with 2cb together as it lets all bombs free keep making wrap & stripe together fish will clear board for you took me 3 goes
I did not like this level. Took me about 20 tries. Finally got down to 2 jellies left, used my free spin and got 15 extra moves. Finally done. This was definitely a lucky board level. Barb
Locked licorice now and bombs with only a 4 countdown. Impossible.

Started with 2 CBs because of the locked licorice. Turned out I only got 3 bombs (4 move) and the fish tool care of them. I used a fish booster, but never saw another one drop (although I may have missed it). Just kept hitting the fish floats and finished 1st time.
As noted above, don't start with CB/CB, wrap/CB combos got it for me with 4 moves to spare, fish are the key.
The level is more difficult now as the liquorice is blocked, so I ran out of moves. Spun the wheel as I had only 2 jellies to hit. 5 moves. Wanted to save hammers and hit the lower jelly with a stripe, which was stupid, as the higher jelly was hidden then with newly fallen liqoirice. Hit this with a hammer... And the jelly was not free, but a new liquorice fell over it :(. Could not get rid of it (and dared not to lose another hammer). Frustrating
Tip: Don't use boosters!!! After getting over my frustration see above I started without boosters and just used combos, the best one (as sb else wrote) CB+Wrap. Finished with even 1 move left

On my ipad, the bombs cout down under the licorice even before you clear the licorice so you really only have 5 moves to get all the bombs under locked licorice!

Simply impossible now that King tweaked with this game. It is clear to me that we are better pushed to the new candy crush game.
Try to make wrap/stripe combos so that they hit as many floaters as possible, as often as possible- the more fish you can get the better.

Impossible level
Been stuck on this for several days. How come when I hit a bomb with double jelly it doesn't get the jelly? Even with no licorice locks. So I have to hit double jelly squares more than two times in order to get it. Is this a glitch, or am I not understanding something, or is the game cheating? Probably would have passed a long time ago of it'd give me the jelly that I hit. Stupid boring level.
I completed this after many tries. But it said level failed, even though there were no more jellies. Looks like a glitch or a fix. I've never paid for boosters and I'm not going to!

Cookie says this is fun to play sitting back watching the cascades. I'm not seeing many cascades but I am seeing "A bomb exploded" Grrrrrr
