Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3864 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect yellow candies to complete level 3864 Candy Crush Saga. The yellow candies are provided by the lucky candies which move around the conveyors at each side of the board.
There is licorice on the conveyors to begin with and the best, if not only, way to clear this is to try to get two colourbombs together. This will clear all the licorice and then you need to make colourbombs and other combos to change the lucky candies and collect the yellows.

You don't need to worry about where the lucky candies go, just concentrate on making colourbombs and other special candies to hit them at every opportunity.
Don't worry too much about the chocolate at the bottom of the board, you will clear the top lot of chocolate fairly quickly and the stuff at the bottom won't be a problem and will be cleared as you use your combos.

Cookie, I don't know if you ever come back and read the comments people leave but I am going to say this anyway - players come to your site for a bit of help and inspiration but coming here each Wednesday is becoming increasingly frustrating as the videos you post bear no resemblance to the game we are faced with. If you want your site to be relevant please update your videos so we are at least playing the same game ! I expect this is just a money making thing for you but you do put a bit of time and effort into it so if you want people to view it please update it Wednesdays - I don't know how people play the game before then as I play on all platforms but don't get any new games before each Wednesday. Rant over ...
Fun Level?!?!? Where did you get fun out of this? It is stupid. 15 moves to get 18 yellows and the board is full of layered chocolate and licorice. I had THREE lucky candies fall and couldn't get to them because of all the licorice. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
I am finding this level difficult and frustrating also. Losing boosters galore!
So, I was finally able to make two color bombs , sitting together, at the early stage of the game. After so many tries, I think this is the best way to conquer it. If you have the hat booster, try to get both color bombs together and add the check mark booster. Then ,when the yellows start to drop, hit them with a bomb or stripe/wrap combo.
To Anonymous above, in Cookie's defense, she has no control over how levels are changed. King releases episodes to some Windows 10 users 1 to 2 weeks ahead of releasing to other device platforms. That is how Cookie is able to work through games and publish tips ahead. King does this to see how real players handle the games and then they adjust the difficulty as they feel is fit. If you look at Cookie's tips, they are appropriate regardless if the number of moves is decreased. She does put out new videos when able. But keep in mind, she also has to keep up with the new levels and tips. I certainly appreciate her efforts! I for one would have quit long ago without her help! how are these levels changed when they just came out on a Wednesday morning so different for what you post? 15 moves all licorice to start..no lucky candies I don't get it

Some players use windows 10 and they get levels far ahead as Cookie does, That’s how she is able to prepare the videos, but King often changes the levels if they think they are too easy for the rest of us. .
In actuality, giving a video, hints and tips on levels that are irrelevant,they do not apply because it is so different then what she played
Why has this level become so difficult. All the lucky candy is covered with licorice when the game starts. Impossible without a lucky board. So once again I am posting for a lucky board

Once again giving advice on a level that is virtually non existent because it has changed so much, You should play the level the way it is now then give tips
In reply to Anon. on the 24th October, I do see comments but since I have no influence with the developers there's no point me answering the complaints. With regard to changing levels I would love to be able to update all the changed levels but with 30 new levels most weeks which are getting harder and harder to complete there just aren't enough hours in the day for me to keep up with changes.
I have updated around 500 levels so far and have hundreds more to do.
Many players leave their own tips in the comments which are more helpful than complaints.
I could really use some useful help on this level if anyone's got any..with the new version!!!
This is awful! I am not getting any yellows dropping even though I have been using the hat. Have tried color bomb wrap, stripe everything except double color bomb! I M sick of resetting every time I try to back out! Used to be able to shut down and keep all for next try but no more! This game is really starting to suck
I followed LynnKaiser07's advice above. I played spooky dash to get all the boosters and used the CB/CB combo with the check mark booster. Kept resetting game til I had the 2 CB's together and then was able to finish this irritating level.

How is everyone resetting until they get 2 colourbombs together? I used to be able to but it changed a few months ago and now if I reset I lose a life and my space dash. Any hints?
Boosters don't help. Luck doesn't help. Nothing makes this level ok. It's just bad.
Here's how I got it (if you have the capabilities) had full "Build a Bot", after playing 606 9 times, reset to start with CB/CB combo, the rest fell into place with moves to spare, go figure, grueling effort but glad to be moving on! Hope this helps...

Less to scroll, a little longer to play, but more fun is playing level 3711 several times

I do understand you better now - but you must understand, too, that it is extremely frustrating to see almost every week almost every second level a video proving that the level has only some days ago much easier and has been changed to incredibly hard. And then you read the comments of some Wednesday club member like "uuhhh, how easy this time and xyz crowns and always 3 stars" - and we mere normals must repeat levels 20,30,40 times and can only win with going back and playing old levels for boosters. This is boring and frustrating. Wonder why King can just not leave levels like they are. Sometimes I'd prefer too easy levels than always getting levels changed to impossible.
Ps: the main tip I read is "go back and play old levels for boosters" - ad it's the only solution. This is not inspiring, too .

This level is a joke! And Cookie, I know you don't control the way King changes the levels, but you should save yourself the time and hassle and NOT post a video. The tips are often helpful. Focus on those. The videos are extremely frustrating for most players as the level you play is nothing like the new level.

Don’t know how many times I’ve played this level and not even collected one yellow! Twice I managed to get a double colourbomb but still came nowhere near collecting the yellows. A dire level.
Played this level over and over again and not even close. Tried booster, etc but nothing works. So much for a "relaxing" game of Candy Crush!

I don't get the space dash, helmet, or anything other than the standard boosters. I found the best tactic when your left with nothing else is to at least start out with the special candy booster (check mark). If you play this level enough times you know color bombs are pretty commonly made. Having the special candy turn yellow in the field of play gives you a better chance of combining it with a color bomb and taking out every yellow on the board that you might not get to hit otherwise. Still requires a lot of luck but I played this level with a 6 hour unlimited lives gift and can't tell you how many times I got down to 1 yellow before running out of moves. When I added the special candy booster, I passed it three games later with 3 moves to spare by luckily having the yellow candy show up next to a color bomb. And I wouldn't start the level without being able to make a strong play (wrap or color bomb) right away. Hope you get lucky.
After wasting countless check and other boosters I eventually passed without boosters BUT I started with 3 extra moves and won 15 moves on spin the wheel. It took six of those moves, so 9 extra moves to complete the level.
No space bot, but I threw all the boosters in and got a free sprinkle from watching an ad. Started with sprinkle/stripe combo, then a second one. Used a hand switch to get 2 sprinkles together, then got lucky with a couple of falling stripes. Thanks everyone for the tips.

Anyone who has made it this far must understand that these stupidly hard (impossible) levels are nothing more than a ploy to get us to buy boosters. In their defense, King does need revenue to produce these games. We always have the choice to stop playing if it gets too frustrating. Finally, thanks to Cookie for this site, as it has helped me numerous times.
Ridiculous level. Not only have they made the game impossible to play they have doubled their booster prices and reduced the amount you get. Really need to stop playing.

Just not fun. Losing interest in playing Candy crush at all.
licorice makes it really hard. i managed to make 2 color bombs together and switched them, but still didn't win.
i just made 2 color bombs side by side again. although got rid of licorice, but not enough combos can be made. still lost with 9 yellow candies left.
finally got lucky. no boosters and 1 move to spare. didn't get double color bombs this time but got quite a few color+stripe combo.
my suggestions:keep trying; no point to waste boosters.

Awwwwww! So level 606 no longer works for boosters????? With these higher levels being so frustrating I can't imagine I'll be playing much longer. It's a shame, because when I get gifts for holidays, I usually ask for iTunes gift cards so that I can buy boosters. Without the added help of level 606, I don't believe I'll bother. Unless these levels become humanly possible to pass, I'm afraid my Candy Crush Journey will be coming to an end.

I passed this level last night then my tablet ran out of battery before updating and when I recharged it. I hadn't been moved to the next level. I've been trying to do this level again all day and am never getting anywhere near. So frustrating!!

Impossible no yellow showing too few moves and so it goes on!!
I have moaned about some levels but this is a shocker totally impossible I have never even seen 20 yellow in 15 moves even when matching 2 bombs, this is where I bow out, its just no fun anymore and king ...it is supposed to be! bye

I have no tips to share because I hate this type of game. So, I just play the old candy drop games and collect enough hammers to finally pass at some point. I do play this game when I'm finished with the candy drop games, but I just go through the motions and eventually get the lucky board. I'm not in a race to get through these levels at record speed. It is very frustrating when King reduces the moves on all levels now. It's so unfair to us normal players. I've already quit twice, but came back. Maybe one day I'll quit for good.
I guess this might be the end for me. I get 1 yellow candy at the most.

First off, thank you Cookie for this site and your tips! This being a King developer making these ridiculous levels are not your doing. King smarten up and bring back the sugar drop challenge and make the levels easier not ridiculously unwinable! I am not buying anymore stupid boosters, I have invested too much time and money in this game! Yucky, yucky, yucky! You guys make it enjoyable at first then when we get hooked on the game you make it impossible! Maybe I should develop a site for cc addictions!

Horrible level, started with 20 yellow needed, ended with 20 yellow needed! Ridiculous!
What a sorry excuse for a level this is. No challenge, no fun, no chance at all to beat the damn thing. Stupid candy cane fences for one, then licorice blocking you from ever getting to the yellow candies. Complete and utter joke. King, you are a joke these days. You can have a multitude of cascades going on and on, but they do nothing at all to take out the yellow candies, nothing. All you can do is sit and wait until the cascade is over and you still haven't made any progress....are you trying to lose players, cause you are and will continue to....
Is it even possible to beat this level? Going on 2 weeks and at least 100 attempts at it and can't even come close. Totally ridiculous, blockers stopping you from ever getting to the yellow candies or even getting the special candies to open the yellows...come on, too few moves and too many obstacles....not even fun any more. It's just shifting candies around and hoping against all hope that you can get some lucky moves, cascades, etc to finally end the nightmare.

Agree with all the comments. Impossible! Looks like people have been complaining for years about this level, so obviously nothing has been done. Over it!
This is on my list of one of the more stupid ones.. ones you basically have a zero chance of until the computer favors you. Don't waste your time on wasting your extra goodies until you KNOW it will make a difference. These ones are a joke. Not fun at all

I googled in shamget Brody 3864 tips I went through the videos that are not similar to what I have and all the titles that register help in Andy Crash and not help
