Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3866 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Although not classified as a hard level, this can be a really tricky level to pass without boosters. You need to collect waffles and licorice to complete the level.
The first thing to do is clear the chocolate, working at the bottom of the board may clear it faster but it will also bring down more waffles faster! The waffles will prevent the chocolate spawner from blocking the top of the board with chocolate but they also block your moves.
After the waffles comes the licorice and this is the hardest to collect as the more you collect the less will drop.
There are a lot of different things to think about as you play, but you don't have much choice of where you make moves most of the time. You will get lots of shuffling and occasionally the game will run out of viable moves if the chocolate takes over too much.
You have to rely a lot on the mystery candies that drop from the dispensers at the top left and right of the board, you only get one mystery candy at a time so the sooner you match them the sooner you will get more and you really need them to drop as much as possible as it is almost the only chance you have of making combos.

Combos are the only way to complete level 3866, they will keep the chocolate under control but they will also collect the orders. Remember if you clear licorice by matching next to it no more will drop, but if you hit it with a combo it will still keep dropping as long as your combo doesn't touch any when you switch it. A colourbomb/stripe or colourbomb/wrap will be the best combos and you can switch them next to licorice without blocking more from dropping.

Like Viv suggested, if possible, start with CB combo, 1st try, 1 move to spare, hope this helps if you're struggling

Frustrating level, moves are very limited, another lucky board level. Seems more difficult to play on PC, cant get anywhere near the amount of liquorice required, whereas on ipad liquorice seems easier to collect.

Could start with color bomb combo, helped to finish first try.
First try with a colourbomb from SD, nowhere near. Second try with no boosters, did it with moves to spare. Nice easy one.
More tedium. Too many licorice.

Another ridiculous and boring level. One move and reshuffle. Then not enough moves to clear all the licorice. No skill, just play over and over and hope a lucky board comes along.

Most of my mystery candies dropping are blockers bombs and chocolate. Only a couple dropped that was actually beneficial. Can't even come close. Also now classified as a nightmarishly hard level. I need luck. I'm getting nowhere

Totally rediculous board, not even close after a few days, dumb
Still no progress after 2 more days, don't waste your boosters on this one unless you have a ton of them, waffles block everything up, and not enough licorice falls down to clear 60 of them. Extremely frustrating and boring!

Don’t know about anybody else but I’m thinking of stopping playing the game altogether as I find most levels now r so tedious and very, very boring. This one has me wanting to slit my wrists it is so boring...move one, shuffle, move one, shuffle....BORED TO DEATH!!

Strategically cut moves by 4 to make sure impossible I think they have a computer program showing what to cut moves to to make it impossible These last few hard levels are so freaken boring if I hadn’t made it my job to warning players about this dishonest app I would have deleted a long time ago
Now that I’ve played this level way too many times They cheat by not throwing down enough licorice to win watch the licorice not come down in video it fills like crazy In addition to cutting number of moves
What a crock of 💩 Watch the board If it looks like you’re gonna win by getting all the licorice the licorice will stop falling only after it’s too late does the licorice start falling again

I'm beginning to see why people give up on this game - I don't mind hard levels but this one seems impossible - I can't get space dash any more, so where am I going to get a double CB - surely it should be possible without getting boosters?? Posting for luck.

What’s going on with this game? All you guys who are giving us tips are bafooning us! You all have 28 -34 moves while your players get 24. How is it possible that you are able to give tips when you play a different board? I’m sick of being fooled by you. Get with it King and make this a fair game when the player can use skills instead of relying on you to give us the game. Bunch of jerks!
Here’s another one who is close to giving up.... Can’t get the space ship anymore and without it, it is literally *impossible* to beat this level. I’m really sad, enjoyed all the years with CC but now I’m not having fun anymore.

this level is now classified as a nightmarishly hard level. This is supposed to be fun? HA! Half the time my lucky candies turn into chocolate or blockers, the game reshuffles, then oops, no more moves and the game is over. Nothing will work until I get the lucky board. King is certainly not getting any money out of me. They don't deserve it.
I tried double cb's twice, and neither one worked for me. This level is the epitome of stupidity. The stupid is so unbelievable it's almost laughable. Makes you feel like a fool for even playing it.
In 1. Hardest thing was waiting for d cascades to stop
Got it first time with 8 moves left. Cleared the board with combos, and needed 29 more licorices, and yes had those endless cascades with no more licorices dropping. Then studied the board and thought I'd hit a candy with a CB the same color as one that was immediately underneath one of the licorice dispensers. That worked and the two columns under both dispensers and most of the board filled up with licorices! Just made any switches then to finish!

Helpful hint by silver dollar above helped fill the board with licorice and finished with 7 moves left.
