Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3897 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The bombs are the problem on this level, they will kill the game more often than not and you waste moves clearing them which could be used to make a special candy or combo.
But you have to keep the bombs under control even if it means missing a chance to make a good combo unless that combo will clear the bombs.
To begin with there isn't a lot of choice of moves and you need a bit of luck to get the board opened up enough to start clearing the bombs. Try to avoid letting the bombs drop to the bottom of the board as it's harder to clear them from there.
You should be able to make some special candies and combos, so use them whenever you can to clear the jelly. Did I say how important it is to keep the bombs under control?
As with all jelly levels you need as many combos as you can make and just smash everything you can. Stripe/wrap combos are probably the easiest combos to make and they will go a long way to clearing the jelly and bombs.
The other problem after the bombs is the waffles, they drop from the dispensers whenever they get the chance but you have to ignore them and keep blasting away at the jelly. Luckily the waffles are movable so you can usually get them off the jelly to clear it. The waffles generally drop to the bottom of the board and n most games you will likely be left with the last few jellies at the bottom under waffles. For this reason if you get the chance to clear the bottom jellies take it so they are not left at the end.

The advice here was very useful, particularly about getting rid of bombs asap, and using a fish booster. Thank you. Using a space dash, extra sprinkle, stripe/wrap and a fish booster, I did it first time - it was tight to the last move and I had to use a lollipop on a bomb.
My problem was i got down to one jelly but couldn't see which one it was on my mobile! It must have been under a waffle and i hit one with my last hammer. It was the wrong one so back to square one. Could i have a lucky board to make up for that please??!!

I was really lucky to get 15 extra moves on the wheel...and yes, just take care of thoses dastardly bombs, they are brutal :(
Generally I like to try to clear the levels without boosters, but I could see me being stuck here for days. So, I threw my stash at it. Couldn't be bothered to keep resetting until something was next to the colourbomb, but having the boosters in play was enough. Onward...

Most helpful tip: clearing the jelly at the bottom before all the waffles fall and get in the way.

I’ll tell u what players get sick of One hard level after the other with a super hard one in there occ one labeled not hard but takes longer to beat due to moves being cut by 30% THEY ARE BORING THEIR PLAYERS TO DEATH I’m sure most delete when the dishonesty is so blatant They get sick of the greed But I for one am staying to warn players not to start this dishonest app And as long as they continue to cheat cut moves add blockers decrease bomb times and the many ways they go back in and screw the levels I will make it my business to keep warning

Wasted all my boosters on this one .
On my last try I used a colour bomb next to wrap plus fish - of course the last fish I needed appeared just as my moves ran out . What a POS fraud this game has become. If you have no boosters/willing to pay for extra moves, you can expect to stay stuck for days on one level, bored sh*tkess .
And don’t even get me started on the rip-off TIMED boosters. Total Joke
This would be a nice level if it wasn't for the bombs near impossible to clear these in time guess I'll have to wait for a lucky board but how long will that be I wonder

This is without a doubt, the very worst level yet! I think it’s time that I found another game if this is much much too stressful. There is no joy in levels like this. I’m going to give it one more day And unless I get a lucky board and pass the level I am going to delete Candy Crush from my systems. During this pandemic time we don’t need added stress.

The bombs are not difficult, they are insanely impossible. I agree that the game was much more fun before. I used to at least be able to feel like I had accomplished something oce in a while. Not anymore. Waiting for luck is not an accomplishment, it's nuts!
