Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3982 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3982 is an ingredients level, you have to collect 4 ingredients to complete the level. The ingredients move from the bottom corners up to the top corners, then down each side of the board to the exits at the bottom.
The first job is to clear the two bombs in the top corners before they count down, this can be done with a colourbomb or if you get a shuffle of the board this might be easier as the bombs will most likely end up in the main playing area.
Once the bombs are out of the way you will be able to see the ingredients and now you need to clear all the blockers down each side to get them to the bottom of the board. This is a harder level than it looks and at the time of writing there are no videos made without boosters.
The best combos are colourbomb/wrap combos, especially if you have candies of the right colour beside the blockers and waffles. The bottom corners are the hardest to clear but wrapped candies are still the best candies to use to clear these corners and get the ingredients down.
The video below by Kazuohk is completed using a hand switch and a hammer, although just one hand switch would have completed the game by switching the ingredient down into the exit.

Thought I was cruising along doing great, got the bombs, cleared the jelly (then) couldn’t get the ingredients to move over to the exits. Used up 26 gold bars for extra moves & still had to use a switch to get them out
Used 2 hand switch to move the ingredient stuck on the cane fence with enough moves to form combo and let the ingredients drop through the exits...

Tried a number of times with all the boosters still stuck on this level. Need a lucky board posting for luck
Second try, I started with CB combo which cleared a lot of the board. Then got a lot of wrap combos and more CBs. Definitely a lucky board. I thought the ingredients would be stuck on the fence shelf when they dropped, but when you clear the blockers below with good blasts, then they drop.
Not enough moves!
Brutal Level. Worked all day on it. Since my ipad will no longer go back to lower levels to get the SD, I worked with no free boosters. I added a CB, S/W, and coconut wheel. Finally got a decent board and completed this horrible level. All I can say is keep trying, the lucky board will come eventually. the coconut wheel did help.
Carol is right again, if you can start with CB/CB that gives a good start, then CB/wrap is the key!

Always amusing - the experts have trouble completing level so they reduce the amount of moves for us mere mortals !!

Got lucky 2 cb’s to start, then coco wheel finished the job for me

Nuts are just sticking and I do not have enough hands!
Finally made it using one hammer but only after I realised I had to completely remove all the bottom waffles to get the nuts to drop.

This level is now impossible without hand swaps. The top nut no longer drops through the barrier and has to be moved over.

I’m tired of this level...no strategies or booster will help until you get a lucky board. I think I’ve been patient enough...bring it on please!!
Really stupid, sorry. He thinks 2 minutes about the last moves and then uses switch and hammer in the video instead of just swapping the ingredient. And then we get 2 moves less than the player in the video.... Brutal level as so many things must be perfect to win
Same here. Stuck on a candy cane in top left. Cookie didn't mention that. Do we need 4 hand switches before starting this level???

After a break got half a Christmas sock somehow as present from CC?! At least is was there suddenly without playing old levels. Used it (start with CB hitting colors of bombs, then wrap/stripe combo and then wraps, wraps, wraps or combos. Uff... Finished with the last move.
It’s one hard level after another lately. The thrilll of playing is quickly fading

This is an horrendous level. I must have played 100+ times and nowhere near succeeded! Not enough moves for so many obstacles. I’m not prepared to use on such an intolerable level. Neither can I be bothered to scroll back hundreds of levels to gain boosters which still doesn’t let one pass.

1st level I've seen that's classed as horrendously hard and it is. Hate this game now I cant reset to make combos.
Extremely surprised to do it on the first try. Just happened to get to CB's together on the first board. This made up for the many tries on what was supposed to be an easy one. Seems to work that way often.
No space dash for me. I was stuck here for days, wasting many boosters, and managed only 2 fruit left just once. Most of the time I got nothing off. I needed a miracle and I got one. The party parcels appeared which eventually resulted in a party booster which cleared three fruit. The last one was still in the bottom corner and needed some work but I have done it. Phew!
Wish I had some hand switches. Keeps getting stuck on the fence. Posting for luck. This is terrible.
I don't know if I've ever been this frustrated playing a level. Nothing seems to work for me. Ready to quit for the umteeth time.posting hasn't helped before, hope it helps now.

Reafall the comments and decided to try it on my tablet... I get much better Cascades on it than my mobile.
Color bomb switched with another.. .perfect
Had bottom waffles to clear. .. along came 3 more color bombs cleared cakes and waffles. .moving on.. .thank you all for the hints. .

Came within 1 move with a chestnut sitting above a waffle. This level is frustratingly impossible. I might just become an eliminated player. This really sucks. Relax? Have fun? Not with this level and King has made almost all levels nighmarishly hard lately. Wh like nightmares? Bye bye Ki g.

Tough level. The nuts move down from the upper candy cane ledges via a portal below the lower candy cane ledges.

Just passed this level on 1st TRY and NO HANDSWIPES. Did use 1 hammer but had 2 moves left. Started w/ 1/2 bot so had CB, wrap, stripe, and +3 moves. Used CB on bombs, another wrap dropped. Mixed 2 wraps in center of board, another CB dropped I got to mix w/a stripe. Got down to 2 ingredients on 1 side above fence, 2 moves left, and 1 waffle at bottom of column. Wasn’t sure of path cuz 1st try and was just blowing crap up til now. Came here, read comments, and hit the waffle w/a hammer. Ingredients sailed out. Done. Lucky board and help of this blog. Just hit the waffles people. All of them. Can stay in the same columns.

Ridiculous level. Confusing when the hazelnuts don’t fall once they come through the top corners. They get stuck and are a pain to get them to move down or to the center!! Posting for luck again!
Got it after posting. I guess once you clear the bottom waffles, the nuts fall through?? That’s what seemed to happen...

All of this advice is just ridiculous. "Start with a CB/CB combo."
How do you start with a color bomb color bomb combo?
If you add a color bomb as a starting booster, you get one. And the odds of being able to make another one that lands right next to it in your first move, or even 5, are about one in a trillion.
Leave it if you did, you've still got a clear all the multi-layer waffles and get the acorns to go past the ledge that they get stuck on.
I'm so sick of these levels that are completely luck-based. Back in the 1000 levels it was really a fun game that required a lot of strategy. Now you just swipe candies untill you either lose or win.
I guess the designers just ran out of ideas. What they need to do is go back and recycle some of those fun strategy levels from back in the day, and just change the number of candies a little bit, or add another blocker with a color bomb under it to make it a little different.
These levels since like 3200 have been super annoying. But like all the rest of us here, we still play, because after we post on one of these boards, like I'm doing now, we usually win it in the next couple of plays! LOL!
You can't tell me that Candy Crush isn't sync with these player boards. They know when you come to a board to get help because you're stuck on a level, and then they let you win it. I've had it happen to me a hundred times...
All levels now require boosters. The donut helped clear this level.

This is vile. On top of that, I used a coconut wheel and when does the second on show up? When I am out of moves. Why buy when they are ta unusable? Ridiculous, frustrating and very far from relaxing.

One of the most ridiculous levels ever. I can get rid of the time bombs and the blockers but I can't get past those sticky out things things on the top insides. Just about out of patience now. Need a lucky board please 🍀
