Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4055 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4055 is a normal jelly level, but it is made hard by the chocolate inside the candy cane fence. The chocolate prevents you from making moves inside the fence unless you have a colourbomb, which is not easy to make at the start of the level.
The main strategy is to get candies into the middle part of the board so you can clear the chocolate. To do this you will need to clear the blockers, expecially the top and bottom ones, this will allow the candies to cascade through the middle providing you have cleared them quickly enough before the chocolate blocks the middle completely.
Look carefully at the candies as they move around the conveyor and you should be able to make special candies and even the odd combo on the outside of the board.
Once you are able to make matches inside the candy cane fence it will get much easier to make combos and clear the remaining jelly.
There are only 4 colours on the board so it is fairly easy to make combos in the middle part of the board.
The video below by Kazuohk starts with 23 moves but is completed in less and although the chocolate has been made a bit thicker now it is still possible to complete this level without boosters.

I completed levels 4041 to 4070 but it exhausted all my hands and hammers. I got all the levels on the first go except 4053. I started with a CB combo, wiped out all the chocolates, and it was game over.
Candy Crush saga is now too commercialized. Almost every time you completed a level, an ad follows. If you want a booster to start a game, you have to watch an ad video. If you want a spin to get additional moves, you have to watch an ad video first. It is taking the fun away in playing it.

The ads started I think about a few months ago, but it has gotten worse last month to this month. Most of the ads are from car dealerships (Nissan, BMW) a jewelry store and others. I get the ads on my Samsung Tab A where I play more. I played a little in my iPad mini and PC but did not get any ad. I don't know why only my Samsung Android is peppered with ads.
I have also completed levels 4041 - 4070. It was great having Cookie back for the first episode. I was lucky enough to see someone’s tip Not to use a two cb combo on 4053 so I was able to complete it the first time. I have not gotten ads yet (thankfully) but I play on my Ipad or Iphone. However my max gold bars I can buy from the pig has been reduced from 60 to 30. Good to see you Rick and Sharon. See everyone next Wednesday.
Fish booster is a good choice on this level. Sometimes they clear the hard to reach jelly.
To Bear with me, I was the one who gave the tip on 4053 not to use a CB combo. When I switched the CBs, it wiped out the chocolate and therefore there was no more chocolate to grow to get the order and it says "Game Over." I realized it too late that it was the case.
I played my wife's iPad Air and it now has ads, too but not as many and irritating as my Samsung tablet. Maybe King is still "experimenting" with some devices before putting it on all devices.

If I could get the chocolate and waffles clear it would be a miracle.
But how do you get the ingredients to drop through (apart from maybe one every 10 moves or so)? A

Martin - the ingredients drop through the portal on the bottom 2nd from the left and move thru on the top right. I started with a two cb combo and full space bot with additional stripe wrap, but waited 1 turn until the ingredient was above the portal before I matched the two cbs together. I had no problem moving three of the ingredients. It was only the last one that was stubborn and didn’t want to move to the right. Finally a stripe/wrap combo got it to move to the right side. Hi Indy! Good to hear from again. Yes I have been playing CC Friends in between other games. I'm on level 230. I guess I might be playing it a bit more because yesterday I finished Candy Crush Soda as far as it goes.

level 4065 is not doable without 2 CBs now.
If you don't have SD, you can't pass it.

I (only) play on an android mobile (Huawei) and don't have any ads (apart from ads for other King games). I remember there were some ads plus "watch video first" when I played the first around 1000 levels, but no more the last years. But: My husband plays on a Samsung mobile and had the same ad topic like you. I assume it might be a Samsung thing.

Rick, it might be because you spend so much money on Candy Crush and boast of overseas trips. They know you have money, not like poor pensioners such as me who can't afford to pay money to finish games and would take no pride in doing that anyway.
Not possible without boosters or the kind of luck in the video example. I'm so bored...
So I boostered it. Life's too short. Colourbomb, wrap, stripe and fish. The wrap was nestled in amongst the chocolate, so when I set it off it took care of that. The fish did the rest. Onwards.

I found this to be the most unfair and frustrating of all so far. Usually there is 1 or 2 moves, so you can't use your skill or strategy. Rather than simply quit, I used my last 4 spaceships and eked out a win.
