Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4142 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4142 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. It is an orders level and you have to collect all the licorice and 38 countdown bombs.
The bombs will start to drop when you clear some of the licorice as the bomb dispensers are in the sections where the licorice is. ALL the licorice has to be cleared as no more will drop and this can be the hardest thing to do. Clearing the majority of the licorice is fairly easy but it is the final few that can be tricky to collect.
The bombs are not a problem, you will get plenty dropping and the fish from the floats will collect them as well as your combos. The fish have priorities, they will always clear the bombs first, starting with the ones with the lowest countdown, so if you have bombs that are getting down to low numbers try to hit the floats with a combo to get the fish to clear them.
The fish will clear some of the licorice at first, but only when there are no bombs, or if you get more fish than there are bombs on the board, so you can't rely on the fish to help with the licorice.
The best way to clear the licorice is to use a double colourbomb combo, this will clear most of the licorice but it always leaves a few bits on the board which you will have to clear some other way.

Horrible level !!! How do they think , it can be cleared without using loads of boosters ?
Got this one first try. But not because I put two cb's together. I used one cb for one bomb colour and another cb for another colour. It's best to make cb's whenever possible and match them with bombs.
I used 2 CB together cleared liquorice then more CB to get the bombs
Help - I've used the check booster and still do not have enough licorice to pass the level, even if I used other boosters to clear all the available licorice.
There is enough licorice on the board. I started with double color bomb and it got all. It one licorice them concentrated on getting the countdown bombs. Finished in four moves.
When I played this weeks ago I had the same problem as Susan. Not enough licorice on the board. Yes if I counted, before I made a move there was enough, but I tried several times both with and without starting with double colourbombs, and somehow some of the licorice disappeared/didn't count. I had to use the checkmark booster to get enough.

Not getting anywhere fast. No space dash or bot to help, the bombs go off as i cant clear licorice. Help please please please beford i give up.

Something weird is happening. I was still on 4141 and hadn't passed it. When I picked my phone back up to play it said u was on 4144. Played. Didn't pass. Picked out up aheadon and now says I'm on 4145. Had this happened to anyone else?
Terrible level, and bot is not working for me today. With or without entry boosters, this one was nearly impossible. I added every booster (color bomb, wrapped candy, striped candy, and lucky/check mark) and only passed because I happened to hit a +15 moves on the free spin (had to watch an ad for the spin) after running out of moves, and only made it with 2 moves to spare. Target the low move countdown bombs and licorice as much as you can with powerful combinations. A double color bomb combination usually ensured that I collected almost enough licorice, but quickly ran into a countdown bomb problem and my turn would end because they would inevitably reach 0. Instead, use the color bombs to either combine with a stripe or wrap, or match it to a candy with the same color of a prevalent countdown bomb color. Collecting enough licorice and the countdown bombs are the main obstacles. The fish only seem to target the countdown bombs, but if you hit the floats enough, you will collect enough of them to fulfill the order, then any converted lucky candies (check mark booster) will become licorice that you can more easily collect in the main board. Apparently the bot is changed today for me that it only builds if you pass a new level. That's a heck of a challenge.

This is a stupid stupid boring impossible level .i can’t get past the bombs but if by some miracle I do, can’t collect enough of the orders. I don’t know how King thinks levels like these are fun!
