Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4174 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4174 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a nighmarishly hard level so you may lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. However it is not as hard as some previous levels and is quite passable without boosters with a little patience.
To begin with you won't have much choice of move so you need to open up the board in the first few moves, then start to look for combos to clear the chocolate and get the candies cascading down the board.
There are stripe dispensers in the top corners of the board and the stripes from these are very useful for clearing the thick blockers in the bottom corners, so make moves under these dispensers whenever you can to get the stripes dropping.
You will need some colourbomb combos to have a chance of passing this and these combos are not too hard to make if you play carefully. The popcorn in the middle of the board will give you one colourbomb but you should be able to make more once the board is opened up a little.
You will need a bit of luck with the candies, especially at the start, but with patience and careful playing you should pass this without losing too much hair. The video below is completed in 25 moves without boosters.

Some enjoyable boards on this set. Just finished the last one (4175) but no video or tips posted yet. I guess I must be keeping up with Cookie at the moment 🤔😉
Started with double colorbomb and finished with 16 moves left. Lots of wraps, stripes and colorbombs formed with cascades once the board opened up a little

Must have made it harder. Took MANY starts, even with Double CB to finish this one. Finally got a lucky board.
It seems the only ones up here are the small group of reset merchants whose advice is worthless to any serious player.
I threw everything at this on my second attempt, full space dash plus a colour bomb, stripe and wrap and a fish and did it easily with five moves to spare. CC likes you to give back the boosters it hands out.

Repeated levels no longer work for boosters! This is crazy and my candy drops says I've collected 66 of 60?

Well I have to give up. Have 30 left when lives run out. We are all good players or we would t ha e gotten this far but I don’t see a way to pass this without spending a ton of money on boosters. And boosters are not helping me Only 28 moves to get 62 tiles that half of them are covered with triple chocolates & tiles that have to be hit multiple time! I just do t see a way to beat this A lick board that rained color bombs & wraps side by sister might do it. Gonna go back to angry birds for a wile 🙃
Tough level, but very interesting. You need to work on getting the candy ribbons cleared and hit the blockers with powerful combinations. I added a coconut wheel, but I don't think it helped much. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

4weeks on this level all boosters used. Not fun anymore why make it so hard that we get fed up and leave. Few more days then it’s in the binned.

Ive been playing cc for nearly five years and have loved it.i understand the higher you get it will be harder.with the timed boosters im really struggling. If i got to a hard game i would save my boosters to give me a chance.i have found that i really need these boosters on most of my games.

Haha, the golden ones!! :) posting for luck because I am totally bored here now. How does everyone get so many boosters and dash, I can't remember the last time I had one of those. Also, has anyone gotten the jackpot with your lucky SPIN, I HAVE NEVER, EVER!!!
Another ridiculous level. Remember the good ole days when all you needed was a brain, some strategy and a pinch of luck? Now you need a ton of boosters and a "lucky board"! I scoff every time I open the game and it says "relax and play candy". Relax? It's nothing but frustrating these days. Wish King would go back to making this game fun.
I haven't gotten a jackpot in ages. The levels are getting frustrating again. Guess I will have to start playing other games.
I have gotten the jackpot twice (playing for two years) yes, few and far in between but possible :) just gives you one of each booster-struggling with this one so posting for luck
Overall, a fun level,and the board has been relatively generous with special candies, but I think there's just not enough moves and the only way to win is a lucky board.
This level is fun but FAR from being easy. 62 jellies, some double, covered by chocolate, licorice, is extremely difficult without boosters, and those few stripes that come out can only help up to a certain point. Much needed luck to complete this level.. Cuz as usu to be the case, impossible to just reshuffle the board until you get that lucky board

Really King? 124 jellies with just over 20 moves...multi layer chocolate that just keeps layering up...blockers, levels and levels of blockers..move ootions that do nothing...if you're lucky enough to get combos only really will affect one side. Seems only one side or the other gets activity but not both. Can't even come close..twisted jerks

This is very frustrating. I can’t even come close with the amount of moves. I’m lucky to get one cb !! I always have about 30 jellies left when I’m out of moves. Help please with a lucky board !
I see no way to pass this level! The video has 62 jellies and they call that nightmarishly hard and I have 124 !! I’m lucky to get one or two cb’s and then there’s nothing to match them up with that will be of much help. I got this far, but this could be the end for me unless a super lucky board magically appears!!

I wish I was offering the secret to winning this level. Sorry I am stuck too. I have made it this far but this one is terrible. I usually have 60-80 jellies left at the end. HELP. I have been on this level for 12 days playing everyday. Asking for that lucky board. Good luck all.
