Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4290 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4290 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to collect 3 cherries and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
The first priority is to collect the two keys that are on the board at the start of the game. One key is in the bottom right and the other is top left, they are both covered in marmalade.
If you can unlock the marmalade from the top key in the first move do it, then move down to the bottom right section and clear the key there if you can. Making moves in the bottom right will bring candies down into the top left and with luck this will collect the second key. Once the first two keys are collected you will have collected two of the ingredients and the third will travel down the middle column once the waffles are unlocked and cleared. You must collect the keys as quickly as possible to give you enough moves to finish clearing the jelly and collect the final ingredient.
As you collect the keys you will see that there are double wrap combos in the bottom left and top right sections, you can switch these together as they are unlocked to clear those sections. However if you can safely save the top right combo until the remaining keys are collected it will help to clear some of the waffles once they are unlocked. This is not important though as you should be able to clear the waffles using the combos from the dispenser.
Make moves under the dispenser above the waffles to bring down stripes and stripe/wrap combos to finish clearing the jelly.

Recommend not using double CB, Cookies advise to collect all keys and wait until everything is open before combining wraps. This cleared most the board, enjoyed this one.

Don't start with CB/CB. Use your CBs to get the keys and the first three will free up the yellow wraps which you can then use together to wipe out the quadrants they are in. The CB/CB will take out the wraps without unlocking the jellies. Another one which I learnt the hard way

Wow I beat this on the first try starting with two color bombs but did not use them together. Stead I used one turn lock key and 2nd to destroy that key. The stripe wrap combos dropping in the middle was the key to getting the jellies and collecting fhe last cherry

Another unrealistic level. King in control and playing the game on his level. Rediculous!
Need Help #4289
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!. Keys in the corners at the start of the game are covered in multiple layers of marmalade and candy cane fences. You must make at least two matches to break the candy canes. Then you need to make three more matches next to or including the marmalade to free the keys. That is at least 5 moves right there, and that is to free one key. Once you free the chocolate on the bottom it spreads fast and you quickly run out of viable moves on the bottom. I say this level is next to impossible and it is time to quit. King, you suck!
So real luck is needed here. I haven’t been able to get enough keys to drop to open the waffles let alone clear them. I think u need 5 keys altogether to open waffles. Finding this a little challenging. Might have to start with boosters.

More than just the 2 keys to be collected as cookie goes on about. Need more keys and they don't drop down. Come on King be fair.
This is a joke. Between having to make at least 3 moves to unlock the keys then the chocolate takes over so you are making useless moves that don't do anything. How friggin boring. Come on King do something about these impossible levels. I'm done CU Bye 😤😡

Day 3 on this level! Getting to be a big yawn.
Have been on this for weeks. Bullshit level. No way in passing this level. No choice but to make moves that don't help at all. I'm done this time. CU Bye. Other games are more interesting and fun than CC.

I hated the last episode where i was stuck for days on levels. Same story here....stuck stuck stuck and not a chance of passing this freakin level. Very frustrating and discouraging. Wonder how people pass this one without buying lots and lots of boosters. I aint. Not a fair game king 😡

Too many keys to collect, never any moves available at in the bottom right . Boosters don’t help.

I agree with Player 11/12and Alessandra... the previous episode and this one are all very frustrating and very hard...all the levels... everybody stuck and play again and again with no result!!! We don't need luck we need magic....Babis from Greece so angry about all these nightmarishly hard levels....

Gee, what a surprise. Another boring level where no skill is required at all and the only way you can get past it is to play it a hundred times until you get a lucky board. Oh so fun!

This is very difficult! Played & played, no win. Out of all the times I played, I was close once, but not enough bars to get more moves. (Now that we can’t spin for extra moves, I don’t have enough to get them. Any help would be great

Any level that requires collecting keys becomes a nightmare. The two main keys cookie describes take at least 3 hits each if you're lucky. Then you have to do matches under the key dispensers to get the other keys and fight chocolate in the process. By the time you get to the final key, you have maybe 5 moves left but a whole lot of waffles to get thru; no amount of talent helps. This one is plain luck, frustrating and definitely a turn off.

My keys are not covered in marmalade but this is hard need more moves only got 16 moves
Impossible without boosters. Impossible with boosters and I refuse to buy any more gold bars. The heck with it.
There are only 16 moves now, instead of the 28 shown in the video. Near impossible and getting so bored I'm considering giving up altogether
So few movements. No use for ur instructions. No chance to end so many waffles with 16 moves, only luck, no skills
Good tips given above, thanks! My level is different than the video, and not nearly enough moves. A combination of skill and luck needed- making it at least an interesting level! Unlock the keys first, don't blow up the yellow wraps until all keys unlocked. Then hope you have a lucky board.... 😉
