Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4509 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4509 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a nightmarishly hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it unless you have plenty of boosters.
This is a straightforward jelly level, but there are so many obstacles on a very restricted board that it is very much harder than it looks.
You need to collect the keys along the middle of the board and they appear one at a time, each one unlocks the next. If you can manage to get a double colourbomb combo this will clear all the keys in one move and save a lot of moves.
There is a colourbomb at the top left and a popcorn bottom left, neither of these will help you much as the colourbombs can only be used by hitting them with another special candy or a combo.
If you can manage to make a couple of colourbomb combos during the game you may have a chance of clearing level 4509, but it is a very hard level and there are no videos made without boosters at the time of writing.

I used to be able to go back to previous levels such as 606 and earn boosters. Is that no longer available?
Lynn, I too used to be able to go to 606, wasn’t able to on this one. Not sure what their plan is, very frustrating and taking fun away. Was able to pass, no great recommendations, 4518 seems the same, unrealistic.
On the top, CC decided not to reward with boosters after winning past levels, at least on my Android. Having 2 CB is no longer an option. This level seems impossible to win.
Too hard even clearing the chocolate takes up most moves. Posting for luck
I used about ten boosters to pass. Then on the next level got the BOT back :-)

Got to have boosters! Switched to get 2 CBs together on first move which opened up board. Stripes and wraps formed easily. 2 more switches, 2 hammers, and finished with no moves left. Good luck!

Based on the despair of previous posters, I used 3 boosters and the one CB “bot” I had. Started with double CB and had to use two switches and a hammer to get the last upper right candies. That double CB is necessary.
Well I commented on this level on March 25 and March 28. Here it is March 31 and I am still on this ridiculous level! I am beginning to think this games is just to difficult for me. Maybe I should just stick to Sudoku!
I agree with everyone else this level is impossible, I won extra moves and still could not make it. It needs much more than just luck, I have just got sick of all the King games now. Time to enjoy my life again.

I’m playing on iPad and this level is not shown as “hard” or “nightmarishly hard” but....it IS! Cookie,,,,really appreciate your tips but, it might be time to change your intro paragraph to “Hints and tips showing how to pass level xxxx Candy Crush Saga WITH boosters by Cookie” since it has become impossible to pass any level without them. 🙂🙂
Been here for days, levels are now more and more difficult, and with the loss of the Bot, it takes forever to have a lucky board.
It's plain to me that King wants us to quit this game so he can fire his developers and start enjoying all the money he made.
But once more, and maybe for the last time. I am....

After watching the no-booster video I finally solved it also with NO BOOSTER and ONR MOVE Left (of 25)!! The trick is (as in the video) to open the bottom soon (had 2 stripes after 2 moves) and to get the keys quickly (horizontal stripes and striped from the bottom). In general then you must mainly focus on the right top... (on my board almost all jelly in the left was gone when I had 11 moves left, so I did not care any more about the growing chocolate. You will hit it anyway from time to time accidentically).
Back to the top right problem. Preferably use CBs, they form accidentically from time to time. Once I just used the CB in the color of the candy next to the top blockers to get one icing away. And important (also as shown in the video): if you take your time you will see that CB combos can and must be made (had a CB and could form a stripe next to it when having 6 moves left which destroyed much in this right corner and took also away some rest jellies). In the end I could make normal combinations to get rid of the last 2 jellies. This was a great feeling as I worked on this level 1 day in vain with and without booster and never with less than 8 jellies left. In fact, I think using boosters is not a big help (due to the restricted board in the beginning they are in vain somehow), its more important to have good cascades and try to obtain several CB-stripe combos.

As described in a few of the comments, the key is opening up the bottom of the board. I was able to make a color bomb combination after doing so, and then was able to make other combinations (color bomb and striped candy, striped and wrapped candies) that did the remainder of the damage. Adding a fish booster would probably help a lot. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

After all the difficulties you mentioned, I got astonished by the number of moves, now only 19. Why that, if its already so hard to pass? if you want me to ask for a lucky board ok, i ask and thank you in advance
