Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4553 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4553 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
This is a straightforward jelly level and as usual you are going to need some good combos to clear it.
First try to work on clearing the cakes at the bottom of the board and the blast from this will clear any chocolate, bombs and licorice from the board.
Colourbomb combos are the best way to go, switch with a stripe or a wrap for the best results, or if you can make it, a double colourbomb combo.
The bombs need to be cleared before they count down and your combos might do this, but the board shuffling might help by bringing them out of the middle section.

A very boring level where its not possible to get close. Have played for 2 days and have not managed to clear the cakes! The video from Cookie always look easy but the levels on my iPhone are almost always MUCH MORE difficult. If any of you have come across any site which shares strategy on how to complete CS levels please let me know. Can't see what's the use of a website like this where users are just posting for luck and not sharing strategies.
Definitely frustrating
Don’t know if they’ve made this easier, but I passed on the first go pretty quickly. Did need to use a hammer to finish off one of the cakes, though.
Zenith I think you were very lucky it is hopeless I cannot get close. Certainly lots of luck needed here.
Finally with 5 extra moves, a hand switch, a hammer and a space ship!!!!

I was able to pass this level on the first try by using double color bombs. Good luck everyone!
Got lucky here, passed on my first attempt before reading the blog, came in with one color bomb from the bot, used it to clear three of the countdown bombs and concentrating the colors down, made special candies and attacked the cakes. I was able to get a wrapped + wrapped combination at the bottom next to the chocolate dispenser on the right, detonated it and wiped out the chocolate and both cakes with the subsequent cascade, then the cascades following each cake took out the remaining chocolate, no more moves required, finished with 11 moves remaining. Too hard, not enough goes. It’s finished before it starts!
It took a bout 15 tries and I luckily got two color bombs together and that was the trick for me because it cleared both cakes.
On my board there are only 13 moves and the bombs have an 18 move countdown so I don't have to worry about them exploding before I run out of moves. But they still need to be taken out with a stripe. I haven't even been able to get one cake, let alone two. You need a lot of luck and cascades for this. Haven't come close yet.
This level is just a bit boring! Waiting for the lucky board.
