Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4578 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4578 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a nightmarishly hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is an ingredients level, you have to collect 4 cherries to complete the level.
The cherries start in the top section and have to travel down through the two candy cane sections. For this to happen you have to clear all the waffles from the two candy cane sections. This is easier said than done as you will need a lot of powerful combos to do this.
As well as clearing the waffles you will have the problem of countdown bombs dropping from the same dispenser as the cherries. You will need a bit of luck to get the four cherries dropping in a reasonable time as quite often on my games I have had lots of bombs before the final cherry appears.
The best candies for this level are wrapped candies, switched beside the waffles they will do a lot of damage. Better still is a colourbomb/wrap combo, especially if there are plenty of candies of the right colour beside the candy canes, or even within them. A double colourbomb will help too, ut may not be as good as the colourbomb/wrap.

Very hard. Definitely need boosters, esp. CB/wrap and CB/stripe. Wraps the best! Needed 5 extra moves to complete. Worked from the bottom to get cascades which helped form specials for combos. Finished with no moves left. Good luck.
Start on left hand set of waffles otherwise the bombs will get you. Sweet wrappers next to the waffles and the coconut booster helped. I found myself with a yearly cleared left hand set and used two hammers and a switch to finally complete this horrific level...

The tip about wraps near the waffles bottom left was the key, used a hammer on the last one to get remaining fruit, perhaps a lucky board!
I'm just about done playing CC with horrible levels like this that are impossible to win even after spending days just to get frustrated! I don't mind a challenge but this is ridiculous!

Played over 100 times now and got nowhere near passing..if I had maybe 10 hammers I think I could do it but I’m not wasting that many on one level,the bombs are impossible to clear when they do fall plus all the licorice that falls stops the combos getting them,,hardest level in the game for me so far...totally impossible

It’s crucial to combine a colour bomb with a wrap. Force it using the hammer and/or an hand. The wheel is also very useful. Done but is definitely a nightmare
Surely this level will have to change soon to make it doable. Absolutely no fun at all. I will have to stop playing soon if no change after all this time playing. Havent even got one cherry out and can't get rid of bombs.
Used a colour bomb stripe combo to begin with (would have preferred a CB wrap but gave up resetting). When the bombs were on 1 I used a precious flying saucer which worked a treat and cleared 3 cherries. Had to wait for the 4th cherry to drop and again, when the bombs were about to blow up I used another spaceship which cleared it. Happy to move on! Nanny Annie

Yuck. Even when I blast the bombs they seem to survive. Used colour bomb/ wrap combos still not getting anywhere the bombs get me before I run out of moves!
Já joguei bastante e nunca consegui sequer tirar usa fruta. Nível muito difícil. Tem bomba, wafer e alcaçuz, só faltava o chocolate pra completar o impossível. Preciso de uma placa de sorte por favor

According to the comments here, I think I must have been more than lucky, I started with a colour bomb/wrap and passed with a few moves to spare the first time!!! Don't give up it is possible.

I have been on this level a long time and try as I have, as of yet I haven’t gotten 1 (ONE) cherry! I have used most all of my few boosters so I am forced to stop and play Sudoku!
How many times do you have to hit these damn waffles before they don’t come back ? I get them down to one hit left and they go right back to a full waffle again! This is a frustrating and ridiculous level. I don’t mind a challenge but I hate it went it is IMPOSSIBLE!

In the video 3 cherries appear, I have to bring 1 cherrie to the end before 2 and 3 appear, and after those two it takes a move before the last 1 appears, so out of moves before it is down!! Had several trys with colourbomb, wraps, didn't work. Boring level.
Okay maybe this is my last comment. You have taken away the ability to reset the board without losing lives and boosters. Now we have an impossible board with not nearly enough moves. I can't complete even one cherry without running out of moves or exploding a bomb. I didn't get to this level being a lousy player! Why force us to come here to beg for luck? I'm just plain ready to call it quits. This has become a chore and a bore.
The problem is those damned Canes are they going to be in every game? I hate them and I hate this level!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah! Onward. I started with a partial bot (CB, stripe, and 3 extra moves). Used a CB/stripe combo which helped open the board but, unfortunately, also released the bombs. I never could make a wrap. The board layout makes it difficult so kudos to those who could. I spent most of the time making sure I could clear the bombs but luckily the cherries travel the same path. Finished on the last move (of the 3 extra). Thanks Cookie and all of you who take the time to come back and post your tips. Good luck everyone.

Not sure how long I’ve been stuck on this level, but I am refusing to purchase any more boosters. I was charged for boosters that I never actually received, sent a complaint form which was denied. I felt since a play the game for free that I would purchase the boosters to compensate for the free game, but once they started ripping me off, which happened more than once, I’ll stay on this stupid level until king decides it’s time to send a winnable board.

What they MIGHT throw in and I wouldn't say “in the mix” is, once in a blue moon they will throw in a level that you might, just MIGHT be able to pass on first go ‘round, that is actually enjoyable to play, and that you MIGHT get away with not having to use even one booster. And that’s a HUGE MIGHT/MAYBE. That’s all they put out anymore. Nightmarishly hard, boring, drain your boosters and/or bank account and play for days just on one level!! Anyone who disagrees are lying, somehow cheating, or you are just brilliant beyond words and CANDY CRUSH is watching you closely and will put a kibosh on that soon enough! Ha!!! Got it 4th try, no boosters at all and used only 1 switch... Needed only 1 ingredient... Start with left side and make as many colorbombs and wraps as possible... Used the switch to get my colorbomb next to the wrap and u was done with moves to spare... Started with only 14... Think I had 3 or 5 left...

14 moves, no where near finishing… boring hardly any choice of move? I don’t mind being stuck on a level if it’s at least interesting. But this is not. I agree the strategy is to switch a sprinkle with a wrap, multiple times, but that’s easier said than done on our board now, whcih is limited by the curls.

I posted several days ago and still no lucky board. Not even close to getting this level. It is impossible with only 14 moves. Im getting very close to quitting. After all this time…….sad.
