Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4855 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4855 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is an orders level, you have to collect two kinds of chocolate and countdown bombs to complete the level.
The most important thing to remember is to NOT make vertical stripes in the top part of the board while you are collecting the keys. Once the first key is collected the chocolate will be unlocked and a vertical stripe could clear the bottom square of chocolate so that it can't spread onto the board and you won't be able to collect enough chocolate.
First collect the keys to unlock the orders, then make moves to collect the bombs while you allow the chocolate to grow onto the board. Keep your eye on the bombs and make sure they don't count down to zero.
Once you have enough chocolate on the board you can then make combos to clear the chocolate and collect the remaining bombs. The hardest part of the level is keeping the bombs under control as you need to let the chocolate grow at the same time as keeping the bombs under control.

Posting for luck because that is the only way I’m ever going to pass this ridiculous level. You need a ridiculous amount of bombs and you have to collect chocolate too. Lovely.
I can’t pass this level. I keep hitting the chocolate so it won’t grow. If I stay away and make useless moves it overtakes the board.
Having issue with chocolate hearts, they won't grow
Right after posting I passed level. Use your check mark to get the dark chocolate growing. Had to us one hammer and got a free 15 move spin

After having all the chocolate I used two hands to join a bomb with a stripe. Done but it is definitely a very tough level

Why do people post for luck - one of my pet hates on here - it's just pointless! Neither is it impossible, as some have completed it. It took me about 24 attempts. Using skill, not luck, and 2 hand switches and a hammer, I made sure that I had enough chocolate on the board to avoid the "oops!" and finally got it done.

Agree with EL BEATLE - posting for luck is ridiculous. This isn't witchcraft! Even though I've gotten levels after expressing my frustration, I still don't think posting for luck had anything to do with it. That said, on MY devices, this is NOT classified as a hard level which shocks me. I've goten 'nighmarishly hard' levels on one try, where this one is crazy hard. And those who say they're going to quit.. really?

I had a chocolate ball to start with, but I carefully kept it until I had all the chocolates needed. Then I played to get rid of bombs until the end where my chocolate ball could be played and blast a lot of bombs. It worked !
Impossible I cannot get close and there are no good tips here either! Posting for luck, despite what others say, is maybe the only answer!!
Finally I got a lucky board and finished with no boosters used. Very frustrating though and really not much fun!

By the time they are collected there aren't enough moves left.
The chocolate just sits there and doesn't grow.
This level is impossible. I just cannot get the keys. On my most recent attempt I didn't collect the last key until my very last move.

If you get into the position of all bombs collected use a space dash to finish off the chocolate
This level is boring and I’m very tired of playing it over and over while waiting for the lucky board. I’m convinced that skill is not involved. If you manage to collect the keys and let the chocolate grow, there’s no way to collect all those bombs. Most times a color bomb can’t be saved because it’ll crash spontaneously. I don’t have any boosters, and now when going back to old levels to collect sugar cubes, any boosters earned have a time limit. If you passed this level, you either had a ton of boosters or more likely you got the lucky board. Good luck. I’m tired of being stuck here.
God bless anyone who has a space dash. Anyway, passed with 5 hammers and 5 extra moves that cost me 7 god bars. I hated this level and was desperate to get it over with. The board was finally doable that’s why I used all my hammers and the gold bars.

BTW... keys aren‘t that difficult as one post says. you can switch into the icy squares if keys are hidden...
Have people who say that PFL is nonsense ever tried it? Come back again after you did ;-)
I can get the choc no problems, but by the time I get that there isn’t any goes left to get all the bombs help.
Of course PFL isn’t nonsense! I’m doing it now. There will be a result!
I spoke to soon, now the chocolate doesn’t grow. Even with 15 extra moves I got all the bombs but the choc stayed on one piece only.

Well that was quick - after posting for luck, having tried this about 25 times, I pass on the very next go! No boosters, but I rode my luck with a stripe and wrap combo that appeared with 3 moves remaining, enabling me to complete the board with 1 move to spare. Feel like I've just climbed Everest getting past this level!

Totally agree about keys, I used 5 or 6 moves before I saw 1st key, then was unable to match it! Very difficult level. Too many bombs to collect
You have to collect 5 keys. If you managed to collect each one after it drops (not likely), you still have to make another move to get the next one to drop. Sometimes they collect themselves if they get a lucky drop, so let’s say 7 moves if you’re lucky. That leaves only 19 moves (16 is more realistic) for 60 bombs and 20 choc. Are you kidding me? Never mind the errant stripe that knocks out a choc before all the keys are collected. You might as well quit if that happens as you can’t win. This level is crud. Go ahead and pfl if it helps. Personally, I never have but this level might bring me to it. Stand on one foot and sing “Ave Maria” while you play left handed if it helps. It certainly isn’t skill that gets us past these levels!

This is a bit of a fun level . But don’t think I’ll get through it in a hurry as there is not enough moves . I was fortunate to get 15 extra moves only to be whipped out by a bomb going off so that was a waste. I just won’t play it much and hope for a lucky board as they call it.

Took me about fifteen times. The only booster I started with was the checkmark. Tried a full spacedash and that caused more harm than good. I was luck enough to get a color bomb next to a stripe and was able to let the chocolate grow a bit while trying to watch the bombs count down.
Guess I’ll have to give up. I’ve tried for days without success. Totally tired of this impossible levels.

It took 2 days. Finally passed with lucky board. Sad part? You cant tell it's a lucky board until well into the game. Lots of wasted attempts when bbn out of nowhere, everything works. Btw, my precious hammer I used to try to won this when it got down to 1 chocolate smashed it but didnt count it as a collected chocolate. I won with no booster in my bank. CRAZY!

Played countless times and have never had a chocolate square with a white heart in it what am i doing wrong ?
No matter what I do, when the candy drops after I get the keys, it hits one side of the chocolate and I have to start over. Every time. Need luck.

For those frustrated with CC, I suggest finding a different game like I have, which actually gives points/rewards even if you don’t pass a level.
If I’m going to be bored shitless on CC I need SOME incentive, and King effectively removed that when they got rid of sugar drops.

I Just collect free boosters, i do iT everyday without playing, to busy with other and not boring games. Dont waist time on king or cc games.

Don't do what I did. I had 2 colourbombs on the board with one next to a wrapped candy. I had enough chocolates on the board but I stupidly used 1 colourbomb to collect a heap of bombs. The wrapped candy dropped in line with 2 others went off and I lost the bottom chocolates. I only needed 3 more chocolates and would have finished. Crap.
cookie's tip of not hitting vertical is spot on but that is it for help. I am totally baffled with this level------not even coming close. BOMBS are game killers.
