Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4883 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4883 Candy Crush Saga is a score level, you have to score as many points as possible in the moves available. The score is not important and could change in the future but at the time of writing the score needed is 175,000 in 20 moves.
The only way to get the score needed is to make and use as many colourbombs as possible in the moves available. There are three popcorns in the top section which can be grown using the given stripes and wraps or by hitting them with combos that you can make in the main part of the board. The colourbombs from the popcorns drop through the portals into the candy cane squares in the main part of the board and have to be detonated using special candies as you can't switch them.
Make as many colourbombs as possible and don't worry about using them unless they help you to make more, they will be detonated as you make more specials. When you are getting to the last few moves make as many colourbombs as you can and if there is a choice between using a colourbomb and making another, make one and leave them on the board. Any colourbombs left on the board will detonate and give you extra points.

Is it just me finding this level impossible? I can barely reach 150,000 points with full bot, 275,000 is frankly an enormous amount to reach and we have so little moves.

This is now 375000. I passed it first go but I had a full arsenal of boosters (none bought, all earned in game play, sugar track, CB contest etc). Good luck everyone, it is a nasty level

It is impossible to beat this level 4883 with 20 moves 275,000. On the web it has 20 moves 175,000. It’s not a fair game . Please fix it.
How is it possible to change the game by 100,000 points in the first week it is released?
Still here. Got to 240,000 twice. No boosters left as I've lost all my stash by synchronising with Facebook. Grrrr!!!

10 days ago this was 100,000 points less to pass. I don’t get it.
The 275,000 you see on the video was the highest score this player has gotten on this level on previous attempts.
CB's abound here. Keep making specials. With every move another one appears all the way on top and falls into a cage. When there are loads of specials all over detinate something with a CB, even a plain candy if necessary as it will cause wraps to blow up and take stripes along. Then start the process again. Remember to leave as many specials on the board as possible.

No boosters, but achieved on first attempt! I managed to line up vertical stripes in the centre and got all the top row of special candies quite quickly. The choc bombs in the cages were destroyed pretty easily ( I didn't get a chance to match them with anything - they just got hit). I thought that I might not get the target total with only a couple of moves left, as no more choc bombs appeared, just stripes and wraps. As the game finished though, a few more choc bombs appeared and I hit the 375,000 mark! Onwards and upwards!!
Coconut wheel matched with wrapped candy did the trick gave me over 100000 first move. The bad news is that level 4884 is just as badš§
So what actually racks up the score the most early in the game? (Besides leaving CB at the end, which still didnt get me further than 175,000.) Seems like everything I do increases the scope by a measly 100 to 1,000, not enough to get even close to the bogus 275,000 requirement. I've had rounds with alot of action and think I'm doing well, but nope! It would help if I could figure out the points awarded for each type of match, but game is too fast. I have also tried many different boosters, without much benefit, either. Maybe wait until I get a bonus spin and land on +15 moves is my only chance to pass this level.

Took me three days to pass this level. I scored 270,000 and had to use gold bars to buy extra moves. Without boosters this level seems impossible!
Its enough....playing is no longer fun. I hoped to get to level 5000 but its not worth al the time . So good lucke to everyone and thanks to cc for the frustration
275,000 points needed now. It is impossible to get that many points in 20 moves. Need the “magic” board I guess. š

Passed on first try. Key was making CBs and switching with specials. Switching with singles only a last option. Do keep at least a CB or two to detonate at the end. Finished with over 375000 points! Good luck!

Ok this is utterly stupid level they raised amt needed from 175 to 275 thousand which is utterly totally freaken stupid I’ve had at least 12 bombs in one attempt and never got close So the advice to get as many color bombs does hold water I used many free boosters so save your money don’t buy boosters it doesn’t help

175,000 is about possible but 275,000 is ridiculous.
Since they’ve rigged and heated and doubled the amount needed to pass I’ve spend hundreds of lives many many booster this is twice at least as hard as any of the nightmarishly hard levels Only because they decided to screw their loyal, players and double the amount needed It’s sickening giving their name a label of the most dishonest app out there
Come on Cookie show us how to do this with 275,000....... Useless unless one is lucky.

I’m just sitting here laughing to myself laughing laughing laughing at yet again another diabolical terrible awful nasty level that’s not marked as it should be hard . This entire level makes absolutely no sense to me....none !You can’t even use the color bombs properly after uncovering them because they’re blocked by your little candycane Blockers they are absolutely pointless they have no business being there whatsoever if I cannot use them nor does your stripped candy or your little wrapped candy

Just reached 271000 my best yet. And I thought the ideal opportunity to spin for extra moves. Nope! Got a lollipop. Then thought this is worth the last of my gold bars to spin again. Another lollipop.

I had eight colour bombs and I still failed. I left the last on on the board at the end but it only gave me 20,000 points.
It's crazy. I made 11 colour bombs but only scored 198,000 then passed with only 6. Glad to be through it.
it's not "impossible", but in the end, it did waste 2 weeks, 2 free win moves spins, 17 gold bars, a full bot, 2 lollipop hammers, 4 hand swaps, and last but not least, a new back glass panel (big :))
This is oviously one of those levels designed to get you to spend money, or at least use up most of your hard earned boosters.
275 is just too high.
but on the other hand, anyone that reached this level is probably aware of how the game appears rigged for luck or unluck.
there have been times other seemingly absolutely impossible levels suddenly pass, even with out boosters, like magic, as if on one special play, all the stars magically align - too many to be sheer luck. - more like an algorithm that perhaps detects loosing a possible loyal player, and decides to "bless" you one level. lol
unfortunately, even after 2 weeks, that didn't happen. my only way through this was the brute force of all stuff i listed above. :(
BTW, the next level, 4884, is sooooo much relatively easier !
What is wrong whith this level in the video thy get 189.000 poinds and they pass it sucsesfull i have 254.000 poinds and i can pass it can jou tell me king whats wrong i dont no ????????????????????????????????????????????????.

Why did they raise it to 275,000????? 175,000 I can do but 275,000 is impossible. I tried the tip of making color bombs and leaving them until the end but as high as I can get is 215,000. Ridiculously difficult. I am Hating this stupid level.

Im right with you..i wanted to get to 5000 also..i started playing this game much later than everyone else..thought i did really well catching up but now its just frustrating no longer fun..
Haven't beat it yet but finally broke 225k with cascading wraps detonating..not color bombs. Thought I'd throw it out there if anyone else wants to give it a try and shoot for wrapsš
I very rarely post a comment but I am at a total loss as to how to complete this level.
I have tried every strategy I know - with boosters, without boosters, with the bot and without a bot.I
I have only come remotely close once and spun the wheel for extra moves but only got a stripe/wrap booster.I

Getting close but need a lucky board!!!
Was stuck on this for days. Then I tried doing as many combos as possible with stripes and wrapped candies. When possible I combined colourbombs with it and eventually it just worked. Doesn't matter how many colourbombs I did, they didn't give me enough points on its own. So blast away with regular combos!
After playing for a few days I managed to get 312,000 points (goodness knows how) but after clicking on "next" I was taken back to the same level. That's not fair. I passed this evil level! That was two days ago and I'm still stuck here.
I don't know whether it better to use colour bombs or leave them. I thought leaving them would score more points but with a score of 199,000 and 7 colour bombs on the board at the end I was sure I would pass but only managed 274,000. So close. Frustrated!
Too many of these impossible boring levels. No thinking required. I need a lucky board. Only way. Meh.

It’s another one of those levels where eventually King will let you pass. Sad really but true. There’s no way I have come near to the 275k points even with loads loads of colour bombs and specials.

MAKE MANY COLOURBOMBS & SWITCH THEM ONLY WITH SINGLE CANDIES. THAT EARNED ME 20-30,000 EACH SWITCH. I GOT TO JUST UNDER 300K. I HAD AT LEAST 15 COLOURBOMBS BECAUSE THAT WAS MY CHOCOLATE BOX QUEST AND I FILLED THAT ORDER. IT WAS SO EASY I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE ENOUGH COLOURBOMBS. SOME BOARDS GIVE THEM UP MORE EASY. DO NOTHING ELSE BUT LOOK FOR WAYS TO MAKE COLOURBOMBS AND TRY TO SWITCH THEM WITH THE MOST ABUNDANT SINGLE CANDY. As susie said. You need to make colourbombs but match with single colours not specials. Count which colour you have most of before matching. Passed after 2 attempts using this tactic.
